Friendly local fish and chips store. But fish itself (NZ cod) is a little bit dry. As for calamari rings, lots of batters on the outside. Chips are relatively thick shape.

I witnessed staff refuse service and threaten to call the police, as my medically exempt husband was lawfully not wearing a mask. He politely informed them of his exemption and they proceeded to close the store on their 30 Customers in preparation to phone police. Ignorance is not an excuse in time

Worst fish and chips ever. The NZ battered cod was dry and chewy...batter was greasy and fried in dirty oil. How can anyone ruin chips? Chips were dry and poor quality. Best thing was the garden salad. Service was so slow... took about 1 hr to get our order and no notice given of the wait time when

Fresh oil, perfectly salted chips, home made potato scallops (they even threw one extra in!) and affordable prices. Great for a quick bite to eat before or after the beach!

Love the staff great sense of humor and the food wow it was amazing. We had Grilled Baramundi and Crumbed Calamari and it was soo good I highly recommend it. The Calamari might be a snack today. If your in Rainbow Beach grab a feed you won't be disappointed.

Dam, fell right down the rabbit hole on this one. Read every review and i know i shouldn't do it but I'm gonna. 20-40 minute wait for food, yep that sounds like every fish n chip shop ive ever been to. Chips were soggy, their cooked in vegetable oil after a certain period of time that's gonna happen
