Review Clove Lane - Randwick

Another fabulous find for a long lunch. Ambiance is gorgeous. It’s been raining and this place just has a much garden, cosy warm modern feel to it. I was digging the open windows, covered patio, a small herb garden and open kitchen. The food is fantastic. We went a-la-crate and that was the best introduction to various plates for us to share. They got us the sticky date pudding in request that just elevated their scores to 10/5 The wine list and recommendations just complimented the meals and service was friendly, attentive, came with a smile and genuine care for the guests: A definite one to come back to!

Nice place for a meal. Everything from entree to desserts are nice. The winner for me is the croquettes, lamb & sticky dates pudding. The staff were super nice, attentive & friendly. I requested extra fresh chilli and they did it with no fuss. We will be back again.

Fantastic restaurant away from the noise. Beautiful decor, lovely staff and being able to see the kitchen and watching the chefs work is awesome. The food coming out of the kitchen is absolutely epic and ever changing. Attended the garden party and loved the live music ans vibe. Can't wait to return. Fresh; delicious; delicate; full of flavour. With Lebanese influence and a family background in the food industry, the chef and team were impressive and the restaurant a beautifully decorated space. Our host was amazing and together it was a wonderful dining experience. First time here and it won't be the last.

Never disappoints, always tasty. A family favourite for special occasions or just because. Rib eye steak, fries, heirloom tomatoes and the most delicious stracciatella was finished off with sticky date pudding for a wonderful lunch.

Ist lunch out with girl friends in a long time and returned to a local favourite Clove Lane choosing a selection including the duck croquettes, caramelised roasted cauliflower with puy lentils, pork belly roast, potato and calamari salad. More than a year later and the food is as delicious as ever and service very attentive and welcoming. I can't wait to go back soon.

Absolutely fabulous. One of the best dining experiences I have had recently. The seasonal menu was delicious - (best Chicken Liver parfait!). It was intimate and the team at Clove Lane were passionate, knowledgeable and very friendly- big thanks to Chris and George. Wine list was delicious. Can’t wait to go back for a Wednesday night with live music.

We had a wonderful dining experience. A balmy Sunday evening, not too busy in the restaurant and a friendly staff made our anniversary dinner really special. The food was amazing, fresh seasonal ingredients, kept simple to highlight their flavour. The tasting menu was fantastic value. The Italian cheese with iggys bread, the asparagus and the steak were my favourites. The jus served with the steak was delicious. Thanks to Andrew and the happy chefs, Emile and Micheal for a great dinner. We will be back!

Fabulous place worth the trip over the bridge.. great service all the staff incredibly attentive and unobtrusive at the same time. Food was amazing you must try it we will be back.. and a shout out to Michael he made our night �

We had a great meal last night and enjoyed everything from the menu. The wine list was great, and cocktails too. Congratulations on your first week, and we will certainly be back. There's also a kids menu too which we will try next time.

We went as group and did the feed me menu. Had to share a plate of medriocre food between 5 people. Tiny portions, ok food and overpriced If you’re thinking of going, don’t! Not worth it

Amazing food, ambiance and vibes coming from this place. One of the best restaurants in Sydney right now, hands down.

My husband and I dropped in for a late lunch and had a wonderful time. The food was beautiful, smoked pork neck was to die for. The service was so welcoming and attentive, our host overheard us discussing hubby's birthday and arranged a special birthday treat. We are not local but we will definitely be returning.

Thank you for looking after our party of 11 (including two young children) so perfectly. The experience was amazing from the time I made the reservation and discussed that we had a party of various ages and culinary maturity to celebrate a family birthday. The 'Feed Me' menu was very keenly priced, delicious, suited all our differing needs and my husband commented that it was a fraction of the price of a three hat restaurant we'd been recently and far more delicious. Andrew and his front of house team were great in taking care of us. Could not recommend more for a family or group occasion. It was such a relaxing and enjoyable place for our family to celebrate a special occasion. The bill was pleasant too...

I booked on line. Had my reservation confirmed. I was asked on the day to confirm my reservation (both by email). When we arrived on the night, we were told that we were being seated at the bar and that they had tried to phone me but Optus said my number had been disconnected. I showed them my call register for that day, no problem with incoming calls. Anyway they had my email address because they sent me two emails. Whatever, they weren't budging and their attitude was pretty much "take it or leave it". I don't see the point of online booking if you are going to arrive to an unanticipated unpleasant surprise. They could simply have not taken my booking in the first place. We sat outside (not really a part of the restaurant but cool (a little breezy) and quiet. Having said that, apart from the nasty start and some novice service staff (I had to remind her twice that we'd asked for water) the food was excellent although very small portions at the price.

Very nice dinner!! Beef was amazing, so tender, so flavorful. Lamb mini racks were also tasty, definitely no bad odour. Side dishes were also great, compliment the mains.

Tasty food and great wine list at this cozy place with really good vibe and decor. Oysters were excellent as was stracciatella starters. Other courses also good.
