Blue Monkey Thai - Randwick - Photo album

Blue Monkey in the past has had great food, but today I just ordered a green curry and satay chicken and it was really unpleasant. The green curry was completely runny liquid with no flavour and the chicken satay were so tough and dry it was actually inedible. Really disappointed as I live local. I
Great Thai food. The Duck in Plum Sauce with Spices was delicious. Already know what I am having on my next visit
Very ordinary Thai food. Tough meat in pad kee mow, and it doesn’t have the correct flavour, fried barramundi is very dry. Sauce is passable, but only just. Chicken wings inedible. Also, they forgot to send a dish, and their advertised phone number doesn’t work. Don’t waste your money and time,
Not great, got a lamb shank which was really undercooked and chewy, tasted like it had been frozen. Pad Thai the chicken was overcooked. Took ages to get served, no one asked how the food was and took even longer to get the bill. Wouldn't come back, much better Thais around.

Blue Monkey in the Spot at Randwick is fantastic. First time we went there was last night despite living in the areas for years. There is an interesting take on a number dishes and the whole barramundi with the Thai salad. The lamp chops with the black sauce is also amazing. Atmosphere is fun and re
Good meal. Nice background music. Ordered and liked the drunken noodles. The green chicken curry was ok. The chilli beef was nicer. They brought water out without being asked so a big plus.
Disappointing not authentic flavours. Tom Yum soup was cloudy, rather sweet and too hot with copious amounts of chilli. Straw mushrooms replaced with spongy (old) button variety, 2 halves of cherry tomato, 3 prawns and a lot of chilli and lime leaves. The pork salad was great.
