Review Taste Of Thai - Randwick

Saif Kade
Hands down the best Thai restaurant in all of Sydney. The dishes are down to earth, authentic and made with passion. Their prices are low and their service is great. This place goes to show that you don't need to have $$$ pricing for 5 star food. If you're in the area and wanting to have some really incredible food, this is the place to go. The only reason I'm going down 1 star is for their limited drinks selection and their seating, which is clean but a little crowded.

We tried this Restaurant after all the positive reviews on Google and boy did they live up to their reputation👍.They have a good lunch time menu, very tasty and reasonably priced. Even my fussy husband was pleased with his meal 😄Definitely coming back soon.

Tasty, cheap and big portion! A seriously good local Thai restaurant in Randwick. It's not 100% authentic, but it's definitely super good. Try the crispy chicken pad kra pao! I think they're the only one doing it in Sydney!

Had Pad Thai w/ Prawns, Thai Fried Rice w/ Chicken and Massam Curry w/beef. We visited for the first time after checking their Google review (4.4 at the time). Sadly, for us Pad Thai was below average and Fried Rice was just average. But Massam Curry was nice except its dry beef which was also tough to chew.

A beautiful place, with plenty of space between tables, wonderful food and kind waiter service. Loved the value for money.

This is definitely my favorite Thai restaurant in this area. Affordable prices and food is always served quickly with generous portion. Have tried the black fish with Tamarind sauce many times and never get bored with it. Also like their Tom yum soup. Authentic Thai retaurent with lovely staff and great service. Thank you.

Great halal Thai food. I will regularly come to taste different menus. For this time, I tried the salted fish fried rice. It's pretty good. Ah, friendly place. They even have a small prayer room.

Lady with short hair explained there was no space to sit in the restaurant. Was honest and gave us an accurate wait for timing during busy Ramadan period. Professional and good service. Food was great as well.

We went there to celebrate my nephew's 18th. I ordered the hot plate seafood and was so disappointed. For $19 I expected to get more an 2 pieces of prawns, 2 very tiny calamari rings, 2 mussels and 2 small fish fillet.. It was just mixed with lots of onions and capsicums. That dish was worth less than $5 if I had to cook it myself. I would have said something but didn't want to ruin the night for my nephew.

On holiday from SA, staying nearby; we had Beef satay stir fry, & Chicken cashew nut stir fry & 1 Jasmine & 1 coconut rice.
Great authentic food, great value, & friendly, fast service, will definitely come back!

Amazing five spice chicken noodle soup! Highly recommended. Decor is simple and plain but when the food is that good and cheap, it really doesn't matter!

I've been here many times, & have never had a menu item less than amazing...my go-to place if my boyfriend & I are too tired to cook :) Friendly & efficient staff, authentic dishes, &...halal! Yay!
(Convenient hours too... we often work late so many places are closed by the time we're thinking of dinner, but these guys are consistently open till 10:30pm)
We'd recommend Chicken Laksa ($11 for a fill-you-up bowl), Pad Krapow ($12), & the Fish Cakes ($8)...a must however is the Thai BBQ Chicken ($12), which is out of this world!

Simon Food Favourites review. Service seems always very friendly and efficient in this popular Thai restaurant. I usually get the Chilli Basil Tofu ($11.50) with vegetables as takeaway with Steamed Rice ($2). Tonight I tried the Chicken Wings ($6, 5 pieces) which had a nice spicy coating, crispy cooked and very tasty. I'd definitely get again.
