Review Ummarin Thai Restaurant - Randwick

Our favourite Thai in Randwick. Super friendly stuff, and an authentic menu with many dishes you won't find at every Thai. We love the sticky rice. We have been at least 5 times by now, and the food was superb each time. Highly recommended!

It’s my second time at the Ummarin Thai restaurant and I’m really satisfied at their foods and service. The foods there are really authentic, perfectly presented and the taste is just right with a very affordable price! My best favourites are the Spring rolls and their stir fried (which I didn’t get to take pics of), full of flavour and rich in fresh Veggie. If you’re scrolling through the review and think if you should go to this place or not, I really recommend you should go and try because I definitely will go there again. 😊😊😊😊

This restaurant is our go-to place whenever we have something to celebrate or just treat ourselves to a great dinner! The staff are always really nice and the food is scrumptious! Last night I had organised a dinner for my sister's birthday and they went above and beyond to make sure the night was extra special for her- they laid out flowers, dimmed the lights when they brought out the cake and was really helpful through out the night. Thank you Ummarin! We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious, went back a second time. Great prices too. The food wasn’t oily after requesting the stir fry to use only little oil. Delicious Thom Khar soup as well. Service was really nice, although a bit slow. They were really bush but did their best to meet everyone needs. The panang curry was delicious also so very heavy and creamy. I personally preferred the red curry.

This place has a dedicated vegan menu! It is amazing! They also do vegan curry which is almost impossible to find in normal thai restaurant. Friendly staff, reasonable price, delicious food, and right by the cinema, and popular spot. It is why this is often booked out and many come for take away. A definitely local's secret place! Best thai in the area hands down!

My wife and I enjoy this Thai restaurant. The food is always fresh, and we are always met with a smile from the waitresses serving. Nothing is ever too hard for them when we ask for minor changes to a dish or need something extra for our little ones. Highly recommend!

We celebrated my Husband’s birthday here! May, the owner is very nice and very accommodating she even allowed us to set up a band!!! We invited almost 40 guest and all of them were happy and they really enjoyed the food. All the food were delicious and the service is superb!!! We will be back for sure!! Honestly the best Thai I have had in Sydney! Amazing range of food and the huge vegan range is especially delicious. I go here at least once a month and the staff are always amazing!!! Five stars �����

The food was outstanding!!! Service was very good too. They made us prawn Choo Chee even though it wasn’t on the menu and it was delicious! The tamarind prawns, although a little spicy, were superb as well. We will definitely go back. The service was also great. Wonderful evening.

Wonderful food and so so grateful and happy to have a whole vegan menu. Only thing is the language barrier can be problematic. Ended up giving up telling them a couple of things because the waitress couldn't understand and wouldn't call anyone over who might understand English a little better. Food really is excellent though.

They put egg in their vegan pad Thai, which I had already eaten some of before realising.

Delicious currys here. Love the fact that the vegan menu is a completely separate menu.

The vegan menu is so good! The satay skewers, red curry "duck", chilli basil stir fry and cashew nut noodles were all amazing. The red curry was the winner for me. Soooooo yummy! I'm drooling as I write this!
