8 COCKROACHES ALIVE IN MY PIZZA!! I ordered a pizza with Uber today. To my shock, my pizza was infested with not one but 8 cockroaches. Yes, EIGHT. I can only imagine the kind of kitchen my food was prepared in. Unfortunately this is the first time it has happened with me, and hence I was taken aback when I opened my order, thus I couldn't click/record the 8 cockroaches on my phone, as they were alive and disseminated immediately upon opening the box. Given the current situation, I hope you understand that I am entitled to a compensation of more than 20 AUD as it could have easily been a medical emergency for me. I even wrote a review through Uber eats to the restaurant stating the issue but got no response, I am very disappointed and shocked to receive such bad service. I at least hope you reply back here to retain your loyal customer, and prevent bad word of mouth.

I usually order home delivery but have been a few times to the Randwick restaurant. Very tasty pizza and a good amount of filling. I love the create your own pizzas.

Average pizzas not what they used to be. Very disappointing. No real flavour. Better places out there. Wont be back

The food was great. We got pizza and pasta and was served promptly and tasted great. Priced well.The only flaw with our experience was that the water tasted like wood. It was so strange but the food and service was great.

It had been nice with quick delivery but took more than 2 hours to get delivery today. I called on the expected delivery time to make sure. They said it will be delivered within 20-25minutes and then another hour gone. When I called the second time to cancel the order as already been two hours as missing dinner time, They said the person left for delivery. The reception person explained that it was terribly busy and could not help it. But if they let me know about it when I called on the first time, I would like to cancel and prepare other options for dinner. My daughters are starving as waiting for that!! delivery.

Love Arthur's Pizza. Grateful to have gluten free, dairy free and vegan options. Every pizza combo tried so far is delicious as well as the vegetarian pasta. So flavorful.

I ordered two pizzas for pickup on a sunday afternoon, Hawaiian and Nitro, and ended up getting food poisoning late on Sunday evening which went into the AM and still going this Monday morning. Feeling horrible today and have missed work as I am really sick. Will not be going back to Arthur's Randwick ever again. There is plenty of competition in the area so you will not be missed.

With the festival on at randwick today, and with the variety of multicultural food stalls, we decided to dine at Arthur's pizza, which was the biggest mistake. For the removal of basil, and added olives i was charged an extra $5, and could not buy a bottle of soft drink for the table as i was told they were only to take away, i then asked for a jug of soft drink and was told it cost $14! What a ripoff!!!!!! As i was there with my husband and my five girls, we ordered to family size pizzas, and when the 'manager' was told that it was for the seven of us, hes remark was "is that all you're having?, is that even going to be enough" with a disgust look on his face. I have never felt more insulted, and in disgust as i did today. And to top it off the pizza was cold and tasteless. When i approached the manager, he was unapologetic, and in denial. Very dissapointed and disgusted.

I highly recommend Arthur's Pizza Randwick... service was remarkably good... my partner & I arrived there quite late at night & they were more than happy to serve us,albeit they started cleaning up(extremely hygienic eatery!!!) the wonderful staff did not bother us at all,or make us feel we should hurry up and finish to eat,in fact the opposite,they were just happy & and smiling at us,seeing we were thoroughly enjoying our pizza!!! I had a seafood pizza... quite honestly the best one I've ever had,I'd stopped ordering seafood pizzas for a long time as I once very ill from one one as it wasn't cooked properly� My partner had a meditation vegetarian pizza, it was to die for!!! The were baked so perfectly in the pizza oven,both the pizza's didn't slide an inch from the base���and here we come to the pizza base... OMG!!! If you love a thin crust Arthur's Pizza Randwick is the place to go,the only other place I had such a good pizza,that came extremely close was in NY USA �. Now I never do food reviews,except when I traveled last year in America, however my partner said if you write a review you get 10% off, but for me quite frankly I thought to myself... you know what..even without 10% (but always great to save money,no matter what the circumstances are),I decided to write this novel as I tremendously enjoyed this Pizza & the whole experience!!!! We are vegan, they've been making beautiful pizza for us without cheese. Now they have vegan cheese, even better! Arthur's pizza is one of our favourite, specially Randwick with friendly staff :)

Me and my partner went today, we got 2 medium pizzas and 2 cans of coke. I had the meatlovers without the lamb sausage and he had the seafood special with prawns on half the pizza only. The 2 pizzas were $16 each and drinks $3 each and we were charged $43. The pizza had no seasoning, hardly any cheese, the seafood was boiled and put on top. Tastless and ripped off.

Guy on the counter an absolute asshole. Had a whinge about occupying an outside table for 10 minutes with a take away pizza, shit staff poor service. Plenty of better restaurants within 50 metres.

I had dinner at your restaurant last night and normally I would never say a bad word about your pizzas but I had the most horrific food poisoning today! I ordered a gluten free pizza with chicken, pumpkin, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and goats curd. I added BBQ sauce on at the table. You may want to look at your ingredients and/or cleanliness as I have never been this ill.

Whilst the pizzas are nice, the online ordering system and delivery service is extremely poor. Firstly, upon paying on the website with a 10% discount code applied, they are unable to accept any of my credit card payments, for which I've tried a few. My only option is to pay later. I placed the order at just before 2pm which I wanted for immediate delivery. The email I got gave me an estimated time of 6.15PM - a good 4 hours later. First call to inform them that I wanted it immediately, I was assured that it'll be at our doorstep in about 1 hour. No sign of any pizza after 1 hour 15 minutes. Either they have forgotten my order immediately after the first call or they cook their pizzas with very low heat because during the second call, they informed me that my pizza will be ready in 15 minutes and will be at my door step 30 minutes later. Final blow is that, when the delivery guy came, they have not placed the 10% discount. I'd advise anyone who is hungry to consider other options rather than relying on their delivery system. Highly disappointed.

Absolutely love the GIANT supreme pizzas and the Nutella pizza! Our new favourites! Always so friendly too. Highly recommend :D

The worst service I have ever received can never keep to time frames and won't apologise when over thirty minutes late. Does not respect repeat customers and their business do not order from here if you want quality local business.

They are the friendliest and most helpful team. Delicious food and are ever so helpful to cater to dietary requirements-even gluten free!!

Great tasting Pizzas which are filling at a reasonable price. No problems with the Morrocan lamb & Napoli pizzas. Be warned however they don't split the bill so have someone pay for everything.

We ordered pizza two hours again. Still not there. Several calls and they always say 'It'll be there in 10 min'. What a lie.

We just had dinner here tonight after having spent the day at Sydney children's hospital- it was incredibly welcoming- fantastic service. Quick and extremely delicious food- just what we needed after a long gruelling day- we left with our tummies full and smiling faces! Great job Arthur's!

This place has been an institution at the Spot in Randwick for decades, and it’s not hard to understand why. They make excellent pizzas and pastas, the atmosphere is casual and relaxed, and the service is fast, friendly and polite. A medium-sized pizza - more than enough to satisfy a healthy appetite - will set you back only $16, or the large $22.  <br/><br/>Eight of us dined here on a weeknight in April and, after our 25% Ent Book discount we paid a modest $126 for one pasta dish, five medium pizzas, two small pizzas, two salads and two bottles of Peroni. That’s outstanding value for money in these awful depressed economic times. <br/><br/>The pizzas are the best you’ll find in the eastern suburbs. They have a thin crusty base with lashings of tasty and flavoursome toppings. There are masses to choose from, but if you still can’t find anything you like, you can design your own. I believe that they’ll even allow you to do a half and half, i.e. half the pizza with one kind, half another. I chose the Campollo, which had tender pieces of chicken fillet, with semi-dried tomato, onions and soft, creamy camembert cheese. As much as I liked it though, prize for the best pizza of the night went to the vegetarian, with it’s mushroom, capsicum, onion, pineapple and tomato. For an accompaniment, we choose two salads: the garden and the Greek. They were smallish, but healthful and nutritious, with fresh ingredients.<br/><br/>Like it’s sister restaurant in Paddington, the interior of Arthur’s Randwick is quite utilitarian, with tiled floors and plain wooden furniture, arranged north-south,, in a rather narrow, cramped space. Nothing much has changed over the past few decades that we’ve been coming here, which I guess is probably why they are able to keep their prices so reasonable. It would be nice though to see the interior freshened up and modernised a bit. The toilets are to be found out the back, down a dimly lit corridor. There’s one male and one female toilet, they’re functional but lacked hand towels. <br/><br/>The night we dined, there wasn’t a big turnout, just a smattering of other diners, which at least kept noise levels reasonable. But this is a popular joint and will always get full on a weekend, so it’s advisable to book.<br/><br/>Service was superb, and I have to hand it to these guys because, despite being under pressure, mainly it seemed from dealing with takeaway orders, they were calm, polite and efficient. Once our order was taken, it didn’t take long for the food to come out; first the drinks, then the salads, then the mains. It all hummed along nicely from start to finish, like a well-oiled machine, and that’s just the way I like it. We arrived at 7pm, and by 8.30pm we were done. <br/><br/>Being situated at the Spot, Randwick’s dining and entertainment hub, parking is always a challenge. I usually don’t even bother trying to find something too close, instead driving straight past and heading for Canberra Street, towards Maroubra, where there are no restrictions after 6pm. I always manage to find a spot there, and it’s about a 15-minute level walk to the restaurant. Easier than struggling to find something closer.

Kindly ask one of the staff if any chance to order Nutella Milkshake as they do Nutella pizza. We knew it’s not on the menu of course. So this Asian guy I guess he’s new here asked another guy who seemed like manager and he said yes! So I was happy until my milkshake arrived and it was vanilla milkshake. So we called the guy again said that it’s not what I ordered. And he just replied as “we don’t have Nutella milkshake. You want me to take it back?” So I asked to change to chocolate milkshake then he just grabbed back the wrong one went back to the bar and chuck it on the table. When the chocolate one arrived and I tasted it was terribly undrinkable. Come on, we all work in hospitality, if you can’t make it just kindly reply to your customer before you mess up everything and leave a bad impression.

Average pizza. Toppings are very heavy. Poorly cut, huge chunks of tomato and capsicum. Taste was average. Saving grace is the crust - was crunchy and base was nice.

Been here a couple of times for dinner. Went on a Tuesday night after the movies and it was quiet. Got seated straight away and received our menus. Great selection of pizzas and pastas. I ordered a simple penne Napoletana pasta dish whilst my friends ordered pizzas for themselves. <br/>Food was tasty and never disappoints! <br/>I recommend the meat lovers pizza, soooo nice😍😍

This place is cosy, the food is good and the wine selection is decent. The thin crust pizza is pretty special. Staff can be a bit rushed and unfriendly but whatevs.

Pizza is not bad at all. However, delivery service is shameful. Many times the pizza gets delivered 20-30 min earlier than requested, also quite late sometimes. Have given them way too many chances already (I have provided feedback but no improvement whatsoever). I do not recommend at all this place if you are thinking about ordering from home as the service can't be more unreliable.

Apparently it used to be even better! I thought it was pretty good, many vegetarian options. My favourite are Melanz and the garlic pizza. Very good service and price. Love the place. Always packed.

COLD TAKEAWAY:- Having ordered numerous pizza's from this pizza restaurant in the past we ordered a pizza tonight and only to receive a COLD pizza. When I called after less than 10 minutes I was told it could not be cold and they would not bother to listen. They had no interest in my issue, super arrogant and bad service. It was 100% cold and not a fresh pizza.

The Mexican Pizza is amazing. The service is great. Each time i have been it has been very popular. I moved to the area 5 days ago and have already had this twice.

Rudest staff ever.  Ordered delivery, they delivered the wrong food and refused to deliver my actual order because they were too busy.   Went to get takeaway and they refused to sell me the pizza at the advertised price.

ordered 2 large pizza's, after biting into something hard I found  a 2-3cm piece of wire metal in my  pizza, which could have easily injured me if i'd swallowed it.emailed Arthurs pizza about this, including pictures, but they couldn't even be bothered to reply..won't be ordering from them again.

We popped in here late on a Sunday evening and received an incredibly warm and friendly welcome from the waitress. We shared a family size half-half pizza that was delectable. Whichever way they make their pizza base, it has a crispness that's to die for and a wonderful flavour.  The tomato base has a good balance between richness and herbaceousness and the bocconcini is excellent.  The rocket and parmesan salad is really great too. There's a variety of wines by the glass and overall the place represents great value for money.

Yummy food. Had a large pizza done half-half. Meat lovers and pepperoni. Nice thin base and lots of topping. Super tasty. Had the ticket & parmesan salad on the side. For such a simple dish, it was simply delicious. I will agree with the other reviews though on the service. Not the friendliest and almost rude. hence my giving a 4 and not a 4.5

I have been to Arthur's Pizza a few times as well as had home delivery; all experiences have provided me with decent pizzas and decent service; I would say the different types of pizzas that we had chosen were good but not fantastic (eg none made me think "God I have a craving for Arthur's Special etc") but I still would go back as they have still a variety of pizzas I haven't tasted and the prices and portions are good.

Another favourite of mine is Arthur's Pizza. Every time I am in Randwick, I would make a mandatory visit to Arthur's Pizza. The first restaurant opened up in Paddington and eventually they opened up in Bondi Junction and Randwick. Arthur's Pizza have been around for 30 or so years so they are obviously doing something right to keep their business going.

One of my favorite things about living in Australia is the concept of BYO. It’s no shock that restaurants generally overcharge (significantly) for a bottle of wine. Here in Sydney, you’ll find many, many BYO restaurants, some without corkage fees! In Rand

Good Pizza, excellent customer service!!. I went on a Saturday night with a friend who required a gluten free base, which was offered. We ordered a capone and a parma, both were good. The pizza base was delicious! The capone, with the sausage and mascarpone was delicious! Furthermore, the wait staff were exceptional. Even though we were ordering take away, we requested a glass of water following a long walk. We we seated at a table, brought cold water, and had the opportunity to have an enjoyable conversation while waiting for our pizzas.

Have been a few times and always had a good experience and good food. Unfortunately for Arthurs they lost a client today due to the rudeness with one of the waitresses. No need to go into the ins and outs but to waive your fingers and raise your voice to children and then when asked to explain, pretty much so the same to the parents is disgraceful. All disputes or misunderstandings can be resolved with a little care and decorum and some questions rather than wild accusations and a dismissive attitude. Plenty of pizza places in Sydney better than this one but did enjoy going until tonight. They can obviously afford to lose clients. Won't be going back.

Ok takeaway. I get take away only from here, because it's close to home and average pizza, ie: typical hybrid pizza, ie it's Hawaiian, Meat-Lovers, BBQ style pizza, rather than the more traditional Italian style which is more understated. It's probably a bit over priced but it's not too bad, and again, when the craving strikes it's a decent option for take away. It's one of about three pizza/Italian restaurants at Randwick's The Spot, but I haven't been to the others so can't really compare them. I was a bit upset to hear about one of the reviewers below who's daughter was called names by the wait staff, that is extremely disrespectful and obviously poor form.

Shocked at staff calling my daughter a 'dairy allergy freak'. A couple of weeks ago my 14-year-old daughter and three of her friends visited Arthur's Pizza in Randwick for dinner. <br/><br/>My daughter has a severe dairy allergy (which is quite different to being lactose intolerant - she is allergic to the protein in all dairy, whether it comes from sheep, cows or goats) and it is a big thing for her to go out to dinner without her parents as she can become extremely sick if she eats any dairy (milk, cheese, yoghurt, cream, butter). She felt confident that she could go to a pizza restaurant as it is easy to have a pizza that is dairy free simply by asking for a pizza without cheese. <br/><br/>Imagine my shock and complete bewilderment when on picking up my daughter she tells me that the waitress mocked her allergy which made her feel very uncomfortable and less than safe. When my daughter alerted the waitress to her dairy allergy and asked for a cheeseless pizza, the waitress first responded by saying 'So what about mozzarella?'. My daughter manages to correct the waitress and say no, she can't have mozzarella as it is cheese and then the waitress says as she's writing down the order on her notepad 'OK, one cheeseless pizza for the dairy allergy freak'. She laughed and then said something along the lines of 'Oh sorry I'm teasing you I've had a long day and I have to take it out on someone'. My daughter was embarrassed and shocked and close to tears.<br/><br/>I have contacted the restaurant via email and their online complaints form but have not had a response to my emails. Shocking.

Had pizza at this restaurant was there last week.The pizza was very ordinary and the base tasted like a biscuit. Service very slow as I think the owner was looking to cut costs.The table is so tiny like for a midget.Don't expect a pleasant dinner.It is also next to a bus stop and the fumes from the bus don't make for a pleasant experience and not good for your health when you inhale the fumes. Not recommended !

Absolute Disgrace. Pizza order was incorrect, asked for a small amount of cheese on a Ham and Pineapple. Pizza came with significantly large amount of cheese. <br/><br/>They remade the pizza, instead of a small amount of cheese on a ham and pineapple, they made a ham and cheese pizza without pineapple.<br/><br/>They said the manager would see us, he didn't..<br/><br/>DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, GO TO PIZZA BOYS ACROSS THE ROAD

Decent. Pizza is pretty good but definetly not the best I've come across. Despite what other reviewers have wrote I've found that the customer service was really good. When you consider the value though, it really is a good meal despite a mediocre decor and nothing really special in the "feel" of the place.

While I cannot say much about the meal yet, as we haven't received, my first impression of Arthur's Pizza was disappointing. I was made to feel like an unvalued customer with my colleagues. I had requested, what I thought was a simple and basic query, and the reply was that, it cannot be done, as people from the local bar (Australian version Pub) would prefer it the way it is! Why are the people from a bar anymore important than a group of diners. <br/><br/>The customer service at Arthurs Pizza lacks the merit every customer deserves.

Always a winner. Great food, great service, a decent priced menu. One of my favourite comfort foods - Carbonara with Arthur's Garlic Bread Pizza. A hard restaurant to walk past!

Happy eater. I think after tonight Arthur's Pizza restaurant at the Spot Randwick will be my special place for Pizza or Pasta …..I especially loved the penne bolognaise as this is my favourite I only tried a small slice of Pizza my partner order as the servings are very filling but what I did taste it was really good…..the restaurant and bathroom was up to my high standard of cleanliness too…..and the staff were happy and friendly which added to the ambiance I think….but the price of the meal was the best as so for less than $35.00 we had a very pleasant evening, with a meal in nice clean surroundings that actually filled us up and tasted great (don't you hate it when you pay top dollar and you are still hungry)…..well done

Delicious - New Management!. Arthur's is now under new management by the wonderful folks who ran Boncaffe on Frenchman's Road. Their pizzas are absolutely fantastic -- tasty, light and not oily at all. Excellent value for money in my opinion. Find out for yourself -- I'm salivating just thinking about the margharita I had. . .

Disorganised Chaos. Arthur'sPizza has gone downhill in recent months. Disorganised chaotic service is now the norm. I was there last night and left without eating becuase the moronic waitress forgot to put the order through. Large old lady screams the orders out trying desperatly to make sense of the confusion of orders. Unkempt kitchen, I hope the food inpectors vist there soon.<br/><br/>Never again

Best Pizza in town!!. What can I say about Arthur's - Arthur is a lovely man, met him a couple times in his Maroubra and Bondi branch. The pizza are heavenly delicious, they have four size selections, small, med, large, and family. With the boys, we at least have to order 2 or 3 families. It's thin and gourmet-like but not the price. Friends who ordered their pastas claimed they are delicious too..Conveniently located in various locations in Eastern Suburbs, so when I crave for pizza easily drive to another one for deliveries if one is too busy.
