What a place to start the day. Friendly, delicious food and great coffee. Simply awesome!
Fabulous food and lovely people and the best Chai tea
Cafe Japone is fantastic, it is part of my morning ritual. Masumi and her team are fantastic
Great little cafe just outside the Spot. Friendly customer service, great Japanese breakfast with coffee. Best to get there around 10:30am for the sun to hit the outside tables!
Japone is a cute little cafe in in Randwick with a Japanese feel. The cafe had indoor and outdoor seating. The cafè has an ornate deco cieling and light fitting. There are number of instruments hanging on the wall. They have classical music playing to give a relaxed feel. The cafe staff are very friendly, reminding me very much of Japan. The coffee is nice, they use Columbian connection.
The menu has the usual breakfast options, the lunch menu is more Japanese inspired. I was after a light meal on this occasion, so I went with the cheese and spinach quiche. The quiche was ok, but I am more interested in returning to try some of their Japanese lunch menu. A quirky little Japanese cafè close to The Spot.
Cosy cafe with comfortable warm sunny aspect for winter .Easy to park.Wheelchair access .Always plays classical music over the sound system. An in tune piano is resident.Saxophone behind the fridge.light meals available like toasted sandwiches and you will always find rice balls with different ingredients inside.Coffee is from Columbia.Masumi san the proprietor is a pioneer of Japanese women establishing successful buisiness in Sydney.
If you would like a warm seat in Winter for a coffee come here, especially in the afternoons when the sun shines low into the shop.
What a wonderful little cafe this is! Obliging, happy and efficient staff. 3 croissants with 3 types of homemade jam were delicious. The coffee was good and the chai latte was a work of art.
Cute lil cafe!!! I got all this for $10 and its vegan and it was very good! Friendly staff and good ambience! lots of magazines and newspapers to read <3
A Japanese coffee shop seems a contradiction, but this cafe makes the combination work. Lots of things Japanese, including excellent green tea, and kimono wearing staff. But great coffee too, and snacks - I'm partial to their ham & cheese croissants. Sit inside, or on the footpath and watch for near misses of the traffic roundabout. Worth visiting.
Love this place. Little slice of Japan in Randwick. Great Japanese service, but friendly and relaxed. Lovely food. Good Japanese teas. Great on a hot day sitting with the large windows open and a fresh breeze coming through! Highly recommended.
Excellent Coffee, Great Food, Good value for money, Convenient Location & Friendly Staff, They always make you feel welcome and you feel like you have a bit of Japan in Randwick. Its nice to sit in or outdoors just like the other customers have said & occastional classical piano being played makes you feel relaxed.
Nice macha latte, the donburi rice bowl smells and looks delicious, will come back. The deco is more family style - could be better but just a local cafe for the locals. Busy for a Saturday morning so must be good in something.
