Really good coffee, really good food, slight consistency problem on the coffee front that had me going elsewhere for a couple of months (the first one was obviously a bad day). Some small things on the way to five stars (which is practical perfection) - all your tables have levellers on them, use them, why leave your customers with a rocky table when you’ve spent extra to get tables that don’t need to have that problem? The butter packs come out rock solid, try taking them out of the fridge earlier - when the order is being plated is too late.
Very friendly and nice coffee. Lots of takeaway traffic. Only had breakfast here and it was very nice.

Thanks to the tip from Rob and Anita, I found this little cafe in Randwick. Have lived here for 11 years and didn't even know of it! Open early and cyclists here after their morning ride. Breakfast menu has BLaTs, granola, omelettes and corn fritters. I just stuck to a healthy brekkie of poached eggs and spinach with a side of toast and also my go to drink; a chai latte. If you're here for lunch, there's plenty of sandwich options, burgers and a couple of salads. Staff were nice and the outlook of the cafe is pretty on a nice day.
Located on the corner of a suburban street in Randwick, the cafe offers outdoor and intimate indoor seating. Enjoyed morning tea of a cappuccino, chai lattes, and pear and toasted raspberry banana bread. Decent service and fairly priced.
I have been a regular customer of Nooks for several years but as of late I have become quite disappointed by the quality of the food. My last visit to Nook’s was Tuesday 19th January, I noticed the guy who usually makes the coffee was the chef for the day. I ordered the corn fritters and they were extremely disappointing, overcooked, dry but to my surprise there was no “corn” in the fritters.
Nooks has always been a favourite place of mine due there coffee and usually good food.
Great coffee, fantastic food, friendly service. like most foodies, these are a few of my favourite things, all of which I am fortunate to have found here at Nooks Place. This is my local and I love their coffee. Stay for breakfast and try the big breakfast, their BLAT (add an egg for extra deliciousness!), or possibly Sydney's best bacon and egg sandwich? For me, its the big breakfast - home made beans, stunning mushrooms, chorizo, bacon, two eggs your way and turkish toast. Did i mention the wilted spinach and tomato? Big By name, big by nature. This is a great local cafe with sun drenched morning tables (if you are quick) and a cosy inside feel. It has bike parking too if you are looking for a ride friendly stop. I really enjoy my local, perhaps you will too!

Love this place I have been going since it opened the best coffee and food, the staff are delightful.
Personal, friendly, great atmosphere and fantastic food. Really a big fan of this place. Have been going for years and have always had a great experience. Nice and relaxed, very personal and super tasty food. My personal favourite is the corn fritters ~ YUM! They have a great menu selection and the best part is that it is all very down to earth and not pretentious at all. Just around the corner from Centennial Park too so we love going there after our morning weekend walks. Very easy to find parking too which is a big plus versus other cafes in the East like in Bronte, Bondi etc.
This is one of my favourite cafes in NSW! I go every weekend for my caffeine fix for brekky or lunch! Friendly and efficient staff, good quality food at reasonable prices (good portions too)! The coffee is great. Amazing beans, burgers and sandwiches! Give it a go!
Great local cafe. Friendly, but in no way pretentious, always has daily papers, appropriate breakfast and lunch menu.

Nooks place is our local cafe and we could not be happier to have this at the end of our street. Corn fritters are amazing and coffee is always of the highest standard. Highly recommended.

My gf and i came in for a quick coffee but decided to stay for lunch after tasting the excellent coffee and being introduced to the owner Daniel.
He took care of us and we'll definately return next weekend!!
Don't go past Nooks!
Been there about 8 times and the coffee is good. Haven't eaten there yet. $8 for a small and large coffee which is not cheap but the quality and consistency is worth it. Friendly staff is a bonus.

Great coffee. My wife and I live near Nooks Place and we just love the coffee we have tried a whole range of places round the area and it is just the best and it doesnt seem to matter which staff member makes it., and we always get a smile as well.They Make a great bacon and egg roll. Daniel (the owner) is always very pleasant and has done a great job creating a very relaxed place to chill out on a Sunday morning and plays great music.

I have been to Nooks Place many times and have always loved the friendly atmosphere and great coffee. The owner, Daniel, has turned this place into a great cafe that anyone would be proud to call their local.
Great coffee, corn fritters with poached egg on the side was absolutely delicious!! Staff were very friendly with a relaxed and homely atmosphere. I will definitely be returning to Nooks.
Had a few takeaways as my work is nearby...always been good coffee. Food is good too...love the beef burger. Chicken chorizo burger and Reuben s/w are both good also.
Feels like home. Entering the quaint dining area of nooks place gave me the feeling of entering my own home. The smiling friendly staff and understated decor make me feel comfortable and welcome. The owner showed his pride and joy and was friendly and willing to accommodate each patron like family. Everything I had the pleasure to try tasted amazing. It is difficult to find decent coffee and good food that dose not break the bank now days but I definitely feel nooks place has succeeded in this. My experience was pleasant and very enjoyable and I will most certainly return whenever I'm in the area.
Great local cafe. my new regular spot. Starting going here about 4 months ago with the Mrs and just love the place.
They use Tobys Estate which i love, and Dan makes a great coffee time and time again.
The food is also great, tried most things on the menu which are always tasty but my favourite is the steak sandwich with onions and a side of their home made baked beans which i can't get enough of.
All in all a great local cafe which make great food and coffee. Happy to call this place my regular breakfast or lunch joint.
