Review Maybe Frank - Randwick

Lovely industrial, art studio vibe. Love that the negronis are served with an olive. We came here for happy hour then dinner on a Saturday. 1.5hr seating. Definitely order early, wait on cocktails and food can be ~15mins if its busy! They have gluten free options for pizza. Loved the truffle pizza super fragrant and sexy, wish there was a more even spread of toppings, some slices had barely any. Their slicing can be more firm, we had to cut ourselves at the table. Beautiful crust on the regular pizzas, chewy but not too dense crust, nice leoparding char but base can do with a bit more heat/structure. Diablo is a moderate spicy, a spice that hits you immediately and stays. Friendly staff, though some are specifically bar staff vs some are wait staff which was a bit confusing. Prices are on the higher end. Worth returning on their Wednesday all you can eat. $16 for a green salad no cheese is a bit of a stretch!

Such a great vibe to the place in so many ways. Awesome staff, cocktails on point and still probably the best Pizza in Sydney. It’s a venue you can tell that cares about the guest experience and the quality of thier product above all else. Couldn’t speak higher of them

The pizzas were great but the highlight of the night was the burrata! It was so creamy and delicious that we had to order another one! The anchovy and artichoke pizzas were great, eggplant was okay. the only downside was the wait time to get a seat was a bit long and we ended up sitting outside.

Ordered two pizzas here. Taste is fine, but was disappointed with the consistency of the pizza. The Margherita had maybe 5 pieces of basil, which was disappointing given it was $20 and crust was burnt on the other.

Great service, great food! Loved the arancini and truffle pizza! Make sure you book ahead as it gets super busy (they typically have two seatings at 6pm or 8pm). Parking around can be tricky with 1hr limits….

Great place, great feel inside, noisy and busy, people chatting and enjoying the atmosphere. Very good pizza, really good. Great friendly service with heaps of smiles and friendliness. Good coffee also.

We had it delivered so can’t rate the service onsite. The food was ready and delivered quickly. The pizza itself was OK. Not bad but not to our liking. It’s probably just personal preferences so that’s why I am giving a detailed review so that it may benefit others who care about the same things. The pizza is thin crust in the middle but edges are too thick and doughy. It’s also very chewy. The dough was rolled out with semolina instead of flour which gives it a nice flavour. There was too much tomato sauce on the pizza for our liking and it didn’t have any depth of flavour (tasted like just plain tomato sauce). This becomes very obvious with the Margarita pizza.

The food is delicious, cocktails absolutely on point, the venue and atmosphete really nice, but one thing above all in this place is the absolutely amazing service. Been here twice and both times it felt like coming to my friends' place: the staff is not only super professional but also warm, welcoming and eager to give you the nicest experience possible. Both times i was dining at the bar (as i usually prefer) and the staff seemed to have so much fun working, that i actually wanted to join the crew myself. Absolute recommendation for this place.

Great atmosphere and vibe from the minute you walk in... it felt like we were in Italy. Staff were really friendly, up beat, fast & literally fresh from Italy......really nice food!! We had the olives, calamari and arancini to start.....prosciutto and rocket pizza and the fettuccine ragu and a few drinks. I caught myself watching the bar tender, I was intrigued, he was very talented. Terrific bar aswell if u just want to head there for a few drinks before heading out if you’re not there for dinner. Check out the back courtyard aswell, very well set up for outside dining and little people if you want to take the kids with you for an early dinner... Just what the spot in Randwick needs we will definitely be back!

Visited Frank’s for the first time last night me and my girls wandered in! Amazing cocktails, FABULOUS BARTENDERS, good vibes. I ordered a cocktail � and didn’t like it, (only as it tasted like Martini which I hate) FRANK or maybe it was MAYBE, one of the two... made me a brand new cocktail of my choice, which was to die for and my two friends loved theirs. Will be returning pronto! �����

Cool decor and super friendly staff. The menu has a good range, I'd love to see the addition of a classic lasagne. The pizza was excellent (a little excess crust though, which can get a bit doughy). I'll definitely be back to try some more of the menu.

We had a fabulous night celebrating a birthday! It was a Friday night so busy and pumping with a fun atmosphere, but not too loud and nice indoor outdoor feel and breeze. Great food, friendly staff and Eros made us special yummy cocktails. Thanks Maybe Frank Randwick, we know your Surry Hills venue, so good to know Randwick is in the same class. Looking forward to checking out Maybe Sammy too! <br/>

I used to enjoy this place, but now they are all about getting customers out as quickly as possible. When booking, it was noted that we had to vacate after 2 hours. Once there however, all of our dishes (entrees and mains) arrived at the same time with barely enough room on the table. The bill arrived even though we were still finishing our wine. So if you want a rushed dinner within an hour, this is the place to go. It made our dinner a bit stressful as the waiter was always hovering trying to get us to finish as quickly as possible.

Headed to Maybe Frank for the first time since moving to the area and I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. Casual and cosy for a family dinner or friends catch up with a delicious menu order from. Tried the arancini balls which were more on the cheesy side which I love. If you’re a fan of a risotto based arancini then probably not for you! Ordered the Diavolo pizza for main and the salami was hot, hot, hot! Delicious tomato base and wood fired pizza. Finished off with a delicious cheese platter served with fried Ligurian bread. Food came out so quick and the service was very attentive and friendly. I’ll definitely be back for a cocktail or two!

Pizza on average. Quite noisy and worst of all,10% surcharge that we found on the bill because group booking; but we were 8 in total not even10 as minimum to be considered as group. and however without any previous notice about surcharge when we book, or when we took the table, We will not come back and we will never suggest that place.
