Review Lobster Affair - Randwick

Ken C
Greasy fish and chips shop, serving a range of seafood options. The freshness varies day to day but overall is of decent quality.

Simple. Owners are lovely and they freshly batter and fry the fish, not the partially fried stuff a lot of places do
David Wells
Great fresh seafood and also a very tasty $8 fish and chips!
Alex Macintosh
We always enjoy grabbing a seafood basket from here. Crispy and delicious seafood and chips.

Not fresh, my stomach is painful now, I dropped out all the oysters. I will never back to this store anymore!
Harry Mak
They serve the biggest blackest driest prawns and chips ever.

Looks a bit dodgy but the fish and chips is AMAZING!

Got stale shrimps from this store.

Delicious battered fish. I order this every time but preferably with no salt. Chips are a bit soggy though and I usually pass on those or ask for extra well done.

Whenpeople say don’t judge a book by it’s cover… it usually refers to places like this. With a corny name, lack of effort in the décor you might be slightly deterred to stop in… but don’t be. They sit amongst a large options of food stores, they don’t have a long queue to wait for your food, it’s always cooked fresh and their scallops and fish cocktails are pretty darn good.. melt in your mouth fantastic in most occasions. The only thing missing is their lack of salt to their foods… they don’t even ask.. just a tiny sprinkle when I normally prefer a lot… I guess they’re subliminally taking care of me as well….

10/07/2015 - My recent visit I notice new people working inside and am not sure if they’ve been bught out. Also the portion sizes of the scallops and fish cocktails have gone smaller too. Bah please don’t ruin it's

Best Fish n Chips. Lobster Affair has one of the best fish and chips. They give you the option of choosing a fish fresh from their display. There are also alot of other delicious options ranging from calamari rings to mornays and kilpatricks.

Simon Food Favourites review. Hot chips ($3 regular) were cooked to order. Crispy and crunchy as expected from the deep fryer. Service can get a little frazzled when busy due to only one serving at the time while others preparing fish and mixing batter. Menu seems reasonably priced and one of the only old school fish and chip shops in the area. Might return to try the fish burger one day.
