Review Subway - Randwick

This is the WORST UNHYGIENIC SUBWAY EVER! Ordered a large steak salad. They gave me a much smaller one than any other subway salad I ever had before. The avocado was literally old and brown. The english spinach was yellow and wilted and the grated carrot was dry and stale. The man kept over handling and mixing my salad with his gloved hands then proceeded to use those same gloves to handle the filthy bacteria laden eftpos machine. Then when I called him out on it, he insisted he changes gloves regularly and that they have a bin filled with about 400 plastic gloves daily!!! How environmentally irresponsible. Why not use tongs to place the salad into the bowl and use tongs to mix, not your contaminated plastic gloves going thru all that salad I would be eating???!!! This subway is run by young, incompetent men that have zero concern or understanding about food safety and hygiene. Disgusting! I just read the reviews and can completely understand why so many people have been food poisoned by these filthy incompetent people. You would think that these people would get basic food safety, handling and practice. This subway need new management and a complete overhaul or retraining of staff that care and take pride in food hygiene and safety. Food was old, stale and not fresh and they do not exercise basic hygiene.

Food "just" ok. I think at has lost the initial quality of "Subways". To be honest I ask a "meatroll" I dislike at all. Variety very poor.

Good customer service, all ingredients were fresh accept for the lettuce which looked dry and shriveled. Shop was clean.

Save your time and don't bother ordering anything from this place. Placed 2 delivery orders with them and on both occasions half of my order was missing and also the delivery took almost 1.5hrs. They don't bother checking the order note and also if they're out of stock on an item you ordered, they'll basically not give you that item (won't even swap for something else) but still charge you for it

Refused to take any vouchers, even though they scan fine on their cash register and gave the proper discount. Rude staff. Go elsewhere - eg: Matraville or Fox Studios.

I totally agree with the bad reviews. Stale bread a big problem. It was the best Subway ever 4 years ago untill Mash left 😢

So disappointed with the quality, they don't seem to be properly stocked. Half the time they have no Italian bread, certain cheeses and one time I was there they had no onions! The subs are loosely slapped together and they just taste bland. Aside from the marinara sauce which just taste like vinegar. I really hope you can up your game, because I really like subway, but this is just sub par. Excuse the pun.

Stopped in here the other day for a quick sub as a snack… located right next to the KFC.. it does not seem to draw in as many customers as other Subway franchises. I found the service to be quite efficient and as friendly as you would expect. The food tasted like all the other Subways and I experienced no real difficulties or issues. This Subway is located on the busy Belmore Road in Randwick… it would get some decent foot traffic. You can use the parking inside the shopping centre nearby otherwise I find there is not too many issues with parking on the street. Personally I would give this Subway a miss… you’re surrounded by so many other choices and varieties that offer decent food for around the same price. If you must, then this Subway branch did not disappoint.

Simon Food Favourites review. Pretty good value when you can get a foot long sub for only $7. Easy enough to share. Enjoyed the ham sub with honey mustard on Italian Herbs & Cheese roll. Staff were efficient.
