Thai Riffic at The Spot in Randwick is definitely my favourite Thai food in Sydney. The food menu has been almost exactly the same for many years. My favourite dish is the Creamy Sweet Chilli Basil stir fry with prawns and the mini spring rolls. Yum. So good.
Staffs were friendly. However the food is less than average. Ordered two serves of steam rice, but both tasted uncooked and hard. We ordered vegan green curry, the majority of veggies in it was only few broccoli, baby corn, and carrot pieces. The roast duck that came with the noodle was also tastele
Nice food, good service, good prices but not the reason my family comes regularly. We love how community oriented the business is. During COVID they offered free food every day to the community. Super impressive!

The restaurant has a standard Thai menu with all the basics but nothing novel or exciting.
Close to the Cinema which is handy for a pre or after movie meal.
The food and service was good and fast so this is a good stop for a quick lunch or dinner.

Lazy staff, cash only on menu, prawns came out cold in garlic and ginger prawn order, sent them back for refund.. ordered 3 meals and all came out at different times.. staff can't add up $$ either took 10 minutes to pay and get the refund . Never again..
On a Tuesday night, this restaurant is buzzing. Very fast service, friendly staff, great value for money (their 2 person $49 deal with two entree/two mains/two rice or noodles and two soft drinks or teas). The veggies in the main meals were lovely and crisp - we had a delicious dinner and enjoyable
Unfortunately our food today wasn’t as great as previous meals at Thai Ruffic. Rice was dry, curry lacked flavour, roti was very crispy. Am hoping this was just a bad day.
