Review Tasne Curry House - Randwick

I love this little place! A real life saver for late night meal. Really good (and huge!) kebab and crunchy chips, perfect after party or late shift snack. Staff are so friendly and they always remember my preference. I recommend!

Bought a burger and chips after work. Unfortunately the burger was horrible! Small patty and no flavour. Chips were okay. Wish I didn't waste my money here. They need to focus on one type of food and do it right.

Love their curry and chips reminds me of England. Also a great portion size for only $7. Rest of the stuff looks decent also. Very clean.

Brings shame to the HSP name!!! Worst HSP i have ever tasted! The meat was barely cooked and cold. The holly trinity sauce tasted wierd and nothing like a good holly trinity sauce. Customer service was also pretty poor and rushed. Definately not going back.

Got my orders all wrong. I ordered HSP with BBQ and mayonnaise but I got chili and mayonnaise instead. Chips were not even seasoned and not even crispy. Disgusting.

The most utterly ridiculously good curry house in the Southern Hemisphere; kebabs, curries, fish & chips, all under the one greasy, dusty, spice infused roof. This place is straight from God. God is real.

Butter chicken was tasty with perfect spice level. Not too hot just right.

The jalfrezi chicken curry was terrible. All you taste upfront is chili, there are no subtle spice tastes in the background. It was greasy and the cooks didn't even bother removing pieces of bay leaf and dried chili from the curry. The price is also absolutely ridiculous...$5 i can accept but this was $16.

This place will get a different rating depending how inebriated you are. If you stop in on your way home from a night out you'd probably rate this place a 5. The crowd here is always interesting; whether they are hoeing into a kebab, scoffing down a curry or are elbow deep in chips with McDonnell's curry(an Irish staple). The vege samosa is always a favourite and the kebabs are good too. On this occasion they were out of beef, so I put in a request for butter chicken. The guy behind the counter suggested some mayo and chilli sauce, why not? <br/>A bit of a revelation, pretty good. Keep in mind I had a few beverages under the belt. A favourite pit stop after a night on the town.

Rude workers and terrible customer service. I ordered my food online and arrived on the time provided. They said the food would take five minutes. I ended up waiting twenty minutes before I had to leave for an emergency. They would not provide complimentary to make up for their incompetence, so I didn't purchase the food. The place looked shabby and the food at the counter looked old and unappetising. There are plenty of other places to eat in Randwick. Don't waste your time and money here.

Don't even bother. I didn't even get a chance to eat from here. They apparently did not receive my menulog despite the invoice I had. After 45 mins of numerous phone calls between their other store of trying to work out what they'll do I just gave up. I DONT recommend this place to anyone and I did not receive a refund unfortunately

Simon Food Favourites review. Tried the Hot Chips ($3 small) which were cooked to order and quite nice. My friends Chicken Burger was well liked. Menu is reasonably priced and service was friendly and welcoming. Tables were clean and decor is simple. Might be tempted to try their Hamburger next time and perhaps their curries and naan being an Indian eatery.
