I found this hidden gem of a restaurant by accident. So glad I did. Now telling all my friends. My Bruny Island wallaby burger was the most succulent I have ever tasted. My friend and I were making little 'ohhh' noises. But seriously. The menu is great. As a mostly vegetarian I would be happy eating here on a regular basis.Try the chai on soy milk ...yum.
Most amazing burger and fries I've ever eaten. The Wilbur pork burger with a side a chilli fries were far above the stereotype. The appleslaw on the burger complemented the pork patty beautifully and the fries were super crisp but covered with syrup, whole sliced chilli, fresh coriander and a scattering of pomegranate. Totally unexpected, delicious and amazing.

We regularly dine-in and take-away and will continue to do so because of the overall outstanding experiences we have had everytime. From the minute we open the door we are welcomed with friendly and enthusiastic smiles which follows us throughout our meal experience.
Food has NEVER disappointed from delicious gourmet burgers to mouth watering beef ribs.... I still salivate over them today~ please do again and reserve us a seat!!!
We moved to the beautiful Huon from the mainland nearly 2 years ago and whenever family or friends visit we order from the RGS because we like to show off how amazing our local is!!! Staff, service, venue and food are all amazing and is why we keep coming back...

Have been wanting to come here for years and have just moved from the mainland so last night we finally got to come and have dinner.
It was amazing, fantastic service, delicious food, great atmosphere, one of the best meals I've had in a while!

The chilli salt squid is the business, sh$ts on any seafood gaff in the city unsurprisingly. Burgers and shakes are ace and the drive through the valley is the cherry on top �
We heard about RGS from friends recently and came down for the Sunday roast. The quality of food was excellent, and the portion sizing spot on. Family friendly and lovely FOH staff.

The food is always excellent and the staff are great. Went in yesterday and asked for a strawberry milkshake, not realising that it wasn't on the menu. Instead of saying that it wasn't available, the girl serving us whipped up something amazing with fresh berries and honey and it was probably the nicest milkshake I've had. They're also very considerate if you have dietary requirements or allergies.
Always a pleasure to dine at RGS. Such a great Salmon dish tonight - thank you everyone...and the lemon curd tart was yum too!

Theres guys deliver the best eggs benedict I have ever had, and I have to say I have had more than a few. The richness of the cured bacon added a smashing complement to the hollindase, the later the dead-right consistency. The eggs were 100% spot on, fully cooked whites and rich runny yolks, and the brioche so much better than the standard toast other serve. To top it off, the coffee was great and the service engaging. Do yourself a favour and take the trip over Vince's Saddle and get down to a Ranelagh for a brilliant breaky, or if later on, those divine blue cheese chips!

Unique twist on the classic burger and fries. Chilli fries with pomegranate seeds, and a pork and beef patty with delicious tomato and beetroot relishes. Staff are super friendly, and the coffee was spot on!
Awesome breakfast something that you wouldn't prep at home. Coffee sensational, this would be my regular Sunday morning breakfast:)

Wow!! My partner and I LOVED our dinner at RGS! Thanks guys! We had the RGS Chicken and the Rice Vermicelli with grilled chicken, oh and the Japanese fries - amazing. The staff were lovely as well. We'll be back!!

It was good and great, it wasn't even my first time I visited a couple of times previously. Food was great but I could feel taste was changed at some point as well as the ingredients.
It was not I expected as the other days, but still good enough. A bit sad that the fried chips wasn't crunchy as before, the taste was fine.
Passing by and had lunch here. Amazing, affordable, delicious food, good serving size. Ordered the chilli chips, chicken wings & Vietnamese salad. We have had many Vietnamese salads before and this was awesome. Thank you!
What a neat little cafe. Wonderful service and food. Had 2 bowls of chips with a burger each between 3 of us. A good amount of food. Burgers change all the time so I had a pork burger wad delightful ,
Came and enjoyed a variety of gluten free options. Gluten free chili squids were going so well with palm sugar dressing. Squids were crunchy and soft, perfectly cooked. Salad on the side was fresh and in a nice represenation. Finished with gluten free brownie, so good. Will definitely come back to try other gluten free options. Highly recommended for celiac
