Not Johnny Ripe - Red Hill - Photo album

The menu is small and not much choice for vegetarian and vegan. Coffee was good and more of a bakery style Cafe, where they have lots of pies selling for $9.50 each and pastries. 4 salads to choose from for $9 small and $16 large. I ordered the cruffin and wasn't impressed, it's basically a croissan
Setting and staff were pleasant enough, however when we had driven an hour for afternoon tea I at 3pm was very disappointed to be told they were not serving coffee, tea or any hot drinks and kitchen was closed even though it was an hour away from their stated closing time. No hot food on offer, only
It was a rainy afternoon and we couldn’t get a covered seat outside #COVID but the bakery absolutely lovely! Long time fan of the chicken & tarragon pie! Also got a lemon cruffin for later on. Parked near the lavender fields, had our cosy pie in the car and couldn’t be more content! 🥧
Excellent cafe. Delicious pies and treats. Really great place to stop by with kids. There's lots of space to run around and there's toys out. Highly recommend!
Drove an hour to taste the fish pie. Wow Nice and warm with full of mild flavours of celery, zucchini, cheese, salmon, barramundi. Missed the crushed pepper. Best to taste without tomato ketchup
Wasn’t expecting that! Thought it’d just be a small shed on the side of the road selling good sausage rolls…. But they have lots of cool space both as picnic area and tables. Also adjacent to a really cute lavender farm which is extremely picturesque. The meat pie was the show stopper - generous fi
A must stop for all pie lovers!! Johnny Ripe makes amazing apple pie 🍎the crust is crusty, crunchy, sweet and much like your favourite shortbread it compliments the fresh cut apple sauce filling. Although they do not do this at the cafe, their apple pie is best eaten hot with a serve of vanilla ice
A great little bakery cafe with indoor and outdoor dining options. Outdoors is the place to be when it’s sunny. There’s a huge lawn so you can have a relaxed picnic style lunch. The food is delicious and pastry is buttery, however it’s a bit overpriced… $7.20 for a sausage roll and $9.50 for a beef
