The strong point is the service - it was excellent, attentive, prompt and friendly. (Thank you Ash)
Meals were served super quick. The place was seriously hectic and we expected a long wait, but we were eating in no time at all. Everyone had varying meals and all were given positive feedback. Personally had the roast pork special, it was prepared well. The spaghetti a friend had looked very good.
Desserts were simple but enjoyable.
$150 covered a shared starter, mains, desserts and corkage for four people, happy with that.
A little out of the way for us but we'll return at some point. Would recommend to others. Make sure you book. Also BYO so bring a bottle of wine or two.
Packed to the max -despite this the service was on point. At every turn wine and water was being topped up. The menu was huge and meals arrived quickly- especially considering how busy they were.
The food was really yummy coupled with the combo of service and setting we will be back!

The spagetti style seafood dish (can't remember it's Italian name) was superb! Yummy scallops, prawns and value for money! It was on special that night. Worth $0 I would say.
The meal was Devine, the gnocchi was yum and melt in your mouth, will definately be back.

Consistently delicious food, amazing service ... even when insanely busy as it appeared to be last night. I Love that you feel like the entire wait staff are there to be part of your experience ... at least four people checked on us or updated us or delivered plates with friendly smiles and excellent recommendations throughout the evening. Even the small pasta dishes were a little too much for each of us but easy take away of leftovers handled efficiently too.

Lovely spot on the esplanade in Redcliffe overlooking the bay, has the risotto and was very pleased just wish I had known it was BYO before I arrived as I was washing it down with a “Lift”
All in all a very pleasurable experience with good service and view and will def be back with 6 pack esky and bottle of pepper jack in hand
We have been here a couple of times as a family and never leave disappointed.
The restaurant is always full of people which is obviously a good sign that they're doing something right.
Looking into the kitchen you can see everyone knows their jobs and work well as a team as well as the floor staff.
The restaurant is BYO which is always a bonus.
The food it outstanding, always full of flavour and reasonably priced.
It's nice to be able to take a stroll after dinner and being so close to the water, it is very convenient.

Heard lots about this place so gave it a try. Went for Saturday lunch and sat outside, it was very busy and very noisey, didn’t bother us but might bother some people. Looked at the menu and there was so much variety which is awesome. Order entrees and mains and came out super quickly. Food was awesome lots of flavour. Oddly, the waiter came to our table and ordered tea even though we didn’t order it, so they took it back. We then ordered dessert and coffee, even thought the crowds had died down by then, for some reason we waited 40 minutes for our dessert a coffee. This was a bit disappointing after a great and timely entree and main. I politely asked the girl if she could check on it for us and then she didn’t come back and about 10mins after that our coffees and desserts came. We got the Turkish delight mousse which was lovely! Went to pay for bill and they read back the order and read ‘English tea’. A told her we didn’t order that and she took it off. Obviously a bit of miscommunication there. But no worries, mistakes happen, overall a lovely meal but wouldn’t mind going back when it’s less busy to try all the other option.
Great service, yummy food, very busy but had a great vibe. I had pasta Sorrento which was full of flavour with lovely italian bacon. Bruschetta was nice as well.

Came here for Saturday lunch, ordered the large “Mafia Mania” pizza and the Salmon Fettuccine to share. The atmosphere was nice, dimmed lighting and aircon inside with a nice view of the beach. The service was fast and staff were very friendly, waitresses were very observant and replaced our large bottle of water when running low before us having to ask them. The portion of the pizza was perfect (a large is enough to share between 2 - 3 people) and the pasta’s proportion was enough for one person (maybe even enough to share between 2 people if ordering more than one dish).
The pizza had prosciutto ham, avocado, prawns, mozzarella and chilli. The avocado and prawns balanced well with the saltiness of the prosciutto ham (there wasn’t a lot of prosciutto ham so it was not overly salty) and the chilli was enough (not too little and not too spicy). The base of the pizza was a bit thick though so it was a bit tough to cut the pieces of the pizza. The Fettuccine was nice, the flavour had a nice balance between the creaminess and saltiness but I felt that there was not enough salmon (although the salmon was quite salty so more salmon would’ve overpowered the dish). The prices were quite average, $19 - $20 for small sized pizza and $30 for large. The pasta were around $20 - $24 (depending on what type of pasta) but when comparing to the portion of the dishes, the prices are quite reasonable.
Overall, the atmosphere was nice (it was busy but didn’t seem too crowded) so it’s a nice place to sit and talk to friends or family or a place with a good view of the beach. The food had nice flavours and it was at a reasonable price.
For Redcliffe, it's one of the best in the area. Great staff, it's always busy... I don't think you would be dissapointed. BYO available too.
Popular and organized. It's an enjoyable smart casual dining experience. Food was above expectations with the Barramundi special cooked perfectly. In an area where quality is a bit hit and miss, these guys hit.
My favourite pasta place. Always happy to make you something you’ll love even if not standard. Beautiful environment and well worth it. Massive portions
We frequent this restaurant. The food is delicious, portions are generous, super filling and they bag it up for you and it is mighty fine the next day ;)
The service is fantastic.
The atmosphere is great, it is quite loud because it is a busy bustling place, I like that about it.
The owner is hands on and not always at home counting his money and I love that.
The menu is extensive, so many choices! I have taken family and friends a lot and they have never let me down.

It is a shame that they are not close to us, a 40 min drive in good traffic but the food & service makes it worth the trip.
Fatastic Italian on the peninsula, with excellent service. Place was pumping on a Saturday night but our group of 4 was served quickly and with a smile. Ordered 4 different types of pasta dishes and all 4 were were full of flavour as if they came straight out of Nonna's kitchen. Sumptuous, velvety pasta combined with sauces that covered each individual strand or parcel made this a first rate Italian dining experience. Highly recommend!

Went there with my partner for a last minute dinner last night.
Walked in the doors just after 5:30pm so there was still heaps of seating left.
We started with the focaccia and meatballs. The dough on the focaccia was fantastic and went lovely with the Napoli sauce the meatballs came in! The meatballs themselves were tender and juicy, lovely flavour.
For mains we both got a small pizza, my partner got the Tropicana and I ordered the Underbelly.
Both pizzas tasted fantastic, lots of toppings so we definitely didn't leave on an empty stomach. The Underbelly had a fantastic smokey taste coming from the sausage. The Tropicana was amazing as well, the chicken was cooked well and the pineapple was juicy.
The customer service was phenomenal as well, I wish I got the names of the staff so I could commend them personally. The second we sat down they bent over backwards to make sure we had enough water. At the end of the night we took the rest of our food for takeaway, the staff accidentally dropped the half eaten pizza in the kitchen and made us a whole new pizza, free of charge!
The whole dining experience was out of this world, I have been eating here for years and I cannot fault the food. There was next to no wait time between dishes as well which is great considering how busy they get, really great time management skills on the staffs behalf.
You know this place must be good when it's always packed full of people for both lunch and dinner. Came here for lunch recently and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I had a lamb ragu dish (small serve was bigger serving than expected) and also tried the pizza lunch special. Food was prepared quickly and I could not fault the service. This place is run well.
Love this place, been here a few times now and when deciding on dinner for a special occasion it's always my first choice (but it's a long drive). Never been disappointed.
Wow, what a fantastic place this is! The service was wonderful & the food was simply delicious. I ordered the seafood marinara with garlic & olive oil.... the seafood was so fresh & the flavours just divine. The bonus is that it's a BYO too. We will be back & recommending this place to everyone, thank you!
Since moving to Margate less than a month ago I and my family have eaten here five times. Each time we go we have different meals and they have all been delicious. One of the other reasons we enjoy this place is because the staff are so friendly. One waiter called Ash greets us like old friends and goes out of his way to make sure that we have an exceptional dining experience each and every time. I can say without a doubt he is the best waiter I have ever had.
Second to none ! Time and time again . The foods plentiful and tasty , service fast and friendly! The only downside is the menu which is so big it becomes confusing to which to order 😀😀.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody !
Revisited this restaurant recently with a large group of friends for a special occasion. Once again, the service and food was very good and is value for money. The only issue is having to wait for the first sitting to leave so we could be seated. The management need to be more vigilant about moving the first sitting on so other patrons who booked months in advance could be seated in a timely manner.
Always good to go here the service is always wonderful the food is always wonderful amazing pizzas and pastas it's a real treat!! The place is always busy!
First time here with the family. LOVED it.....and i'm picky. From the first minute we felt welcomed and important. Menu was one of those where you just want to work your way though the entire thing. The atmosphere was vibrant and everyone was enjoying themselves. I personally rate the service to be just as (if not more) important than the food itself and Ash (the person who assisted us) came across as very experienced and obviously cares about the place he works. (apologies to the rest of the team not mentioned, they were all fantastic) The food came out quickly (great for the kids) and the flavours where all there. Loved every second of it and will definitely make this one of our regular haunts. I actually struggled to fault this place. My 7yr old even said "wow this place does good table service"
My dearest readers, I have a confession to make, I am a Pokemon Go addict. As a result, my friends and I have been making regular trips to places around Brisbane for the express purpose of capturing Pokemon. One of those journeys took us to Redcliffe Parade where we discovered the Italian Restaurant -The Rustic Olive.
Interesting with such a large menu..
The pastas are quite good understanding they create base sauces and add for the respective dishes. Service is good and fast.
And sauces plentiful and priced reasonable well
Pastas are deliciously rich and the reef and beef steak does bring it to a new level served with a medley of seafood. Nice waterfront setting and BYO is a bonus. Service a bit slow.
This is one of our favourite Italian restaurants. The staff there were very helpful and friendly. We went there during the Christmas period and the staff even gave a Christmas bubble for my son.
The pasta and risotto were very tasty and the seafood was fresh.
The Rustic Olive is in a great setting on Redcliffe's waterfront. The service was a little slow but it was very busy Saturday evening and the staff were attentive. It is quite noisy when busy.
The food was good but could have been better. I ordered Filet Mignon which was somewhat overcooked, my wife had the Calabrese Chicken which she really enjoyed, and my son ordered what proved to be an excellent pizza. The main meals are very generous portions. Rustic Olive is certainly one of Redcliffe's better restaurants and worth another visit.
Always great food...best book a table as its not that easy to get a table friday and saturdays...i found it a bit noisy inside....not a place for a quiet romantic dinner as it feels crowded.

There was only a couple of bad things. The chicken in the risotto was chop to big but that's it! When asked for a special order (GF) it was not placed up nicely it was just in a plastic container.
We had the Cannelloni (large) and Penne Ragu (small), both serving sizes were great value. Venue has a huge menu and lots to choose from. Meat to pasta ratio was surprisingly in our stomachs' favour (✅). Lots of staff running around, made it easy to find service whenever required. Outside of outlets control - parking was tough to find, very busy little area. Would absolutely return!
Absolutely delicious. Came here on a Tuesday night and it was packed, so I definitely recommend booking in advance. I had the fettuccine riviera which is incredible, and Daniel Bourke had the spaghetti marinara. Both of us got large sizes, and had enough to take home for leftovers. For large seafood pastas they were very reasonably priced. We also had a serving of garlic bread and sticky date pudding for dessert. Everything we had was delicious and the waitstaff were efficient and caring. Will definitely be coming back.
Came here after work with some friends - great variety of food, really generous portions. We had to byo alcohol though which i wasn't expecting. Definitely a restaurant worth checking out though! Highly recommended :)
I've eaten at this place once and didn't do it again because I don't like busy environments with lots of noise. I do however order takeout from this place frequently. Their pasta dishes of any sort are excellent. The stuffed flatbread they make is fantastic and the pizzas are also very good. Phone your order in and save yourself a long wait.
I have dined many times at Rustic Olive and found it absolutely delightful every time. Hard to get a seat sometimes but just shows how popular it is. Good Portion size and quality of the ingredients was first class. So good .... that we selected Rustic to cater for our 50th birthday ( away from the restaurant). I must say it was brilliant. Attention to detail was again first class and service from Sam ( owner) was outstanding. A must for anyone wanting fine food catering for a big function. Do yourself a favour and try the Rustic Olive. I am sure you will be impressed.

Super-sized excellence in a delightful location..... Last night was the first time I have dined at The Rustic Olive, located in the heart of Redcliffe directly overlooking the ocean and Moreton Island. We booked a table of 8 to celebrate my sister's birthday and did so on my mother's advice as she had eaten there previously.
In all honesty, I was a little sceptical and cynical to begin with; I've visited other highly rated restaurants and left feeling underwhelmed. Nevertheless, you try to maintain an open mind and see what the evening delivers.
We opted for the outside seating and were one of several large parties in that area. Initially, I sat at the plain plastic table, slowly acclimated to the cacophony of chatter that surrounded me and wondered if my cynicism would prove correct.
We were quickly tended to by a formidable team of wait staff, all of whom were both friendly and professional. They happily accommodated my children's needs too, which was appreciated. Within minutes of arriving we had drinks on the table and two plates of cheese-topped bread. We promptly ordered our mains too which, I'm pleased to say, arrived in a very realistic timeframe. Quite simply, we were served well before any mention of 'where are our meals' arose.
Without trying to extensively detail every person's individual meal, I can say this - the meals at our table varied from chicken pizza to schnitzels to vegetarian pasta to salmon pasta to Kings risotto (loaded with large prawns and scallops). The consensus? 100% delight and approval from every single person. The meals were not only huge in size but were taste sensations. My kids, now teens with endless appetites and hollow legs, struggled to finish their 'Small' pasta servings, something I found difficult to believe. I also battled with my risotto (Large) and had to forsake the last couple of mouthfuls, if only to stop myself being severely overfull.
The evening ended with various desserts (Bacio, panna cotta) and cappucino, all of which were also given a big thumbs-up.
Best of all, 8 of us enjoyed entrée bread, massive main courses and some shared desserts/coffee yet paid a bill of less than $300.
Overall, although initially wary due to the sheer hectic and loud nature of the place (apparently booked solid virtually all week long), once I settled into my environment I relaxed and truly enjoyed both the great (constant) service and the marvellous food. Give The Rustic Olive a go; if you're looking for man-sized servings at an affordable price you truly can't go wrong.
Oh yeah, I also noticed that the owner spent most of the evening standing at the front of the restaurant, thanking each patron as they left his premises. A personal touch I appreciated.

Good Cheap Eat. We dined at The Rustic Olive last night and it was pleasant. Nothing spectacular or very authentic, however it was excellent value for money and the flavours were nice. It is a great restaurant for large groups or a causal night out. Very busy little place, but meal times were great considering the crowds (on a Sunday night!) I wouldn't rush back soon, but it was an enjoyable atmosphere and excellent menu options for large groups and families.
The Best Pizza and pasta. This is our favorite place to eat lunch and dinner. Not expensive and food is absolutely delicious. We just keep coming back ♡
Winner. I have eaten here for our family's special events more than once and have enjoyed every single visit.
Here's a quick rundown as to why:
1. Staff are helpful.
2. Manager always checks in on you or smiles at least.
3. Portion sizes are out of control great!
4. Food is good (for the most part).
5. Ambiance is great (waterfront).
Only downside is parking as there is very limited off-street parking spaces in this Redcliffe waterfront and you share that with diners of other establishments.
Wonderful warm service with yummo food. 2nd visit and thoroughly enjoyable.
I only went here for coffee and it was fabulous. Probably one of the nicest coffees I have ever had.
Who needs food when the service is such a treat!. Always so busy, yet the staff were always so attentive.
The food is good, consistent too which is very important.

Yummy food!. Seems to be a very busy restaurant, Hard to hear each other speak, but worth it for the delicious food! I was expecting a massive wait for my food, but they were pretty good on time. Service was good.. as good as you could get for how crazy the staff where trying to get to everyone in time. But that doesn't bother me. You just know they serve good food!
Can't wait to go back there again! though i probably wouldn't take the kids, Even though its kid friendly, Just a bit to hectic for all that.

Fantastic. Made reservations here with my girlfriend tonight (Thursday) at 7:30. Place was fairly busy but we were seated inside right away by a friendly young waitress. Another waiter came out soon after we sat down and took our drink and entree order. Drinks came out right away and the entree (olive bread) wasn't far behind. Mains (fettuccine amore and spaghetti marinara) came out less than five minutes after we finished the entree. Despite it being busy the atmosphere was nice and the staff were attentive, friendly and professional. Oh, and the food was brilliant!
Awesome atmosphere, brilliant staff and delicious food. Can absolutely recommend, and confidently say I will be coming back!

Tasty, well timed, good vego options. I've eaten here a number of times (although mostly at their previous venue). I've always found their food to be super tasty and have never found myself lost for choices (am a vego and they some really nice options). The chilli and garlic pizza bread is a must - super delicious. Pasta dishes are great, although I don't think the mains are worth the extra dollars as the Entre size is not much smaller. If you like a particular pasta that contains meat, they will happily make the same base sauce for you vegetarian. Pizzas are always delicious. Coffee is very good as are their hot chocolates. Always try and get a seat outside. I have always found the service to be fine - nice, pleasant girls seem to always work there. Best of all - the place is run really well and so we have never had a long wait for our meals.

Fantastic Experience. Sunday 21st July, my birthday, we came up to Redcliffe for the day and chose Rustic Olive for lunch. We had not booked and there were five of us. The restaurant was really busy with almost all tables full and additional tables placed down the street too! Didn't think we'd get in but the lovely young lady organising the tables was really polite and helpful and told me if I was happy to wait 10 minutes we could get a table on the street undercover. True to her word we didn't have to wait more than 10 mins and we had a table. I even had a view across the road, out to the ocean. Staff were plenty, we had several waitresses regularly walking around the tables making sure everyone was ok, topping up water etc.. We ordered from an extensive menu.
Main course took about 20 mins to come, we had bread first that came very quickly. We had a rabge of dishes including pizza, Caesar salad, pasta dishes. The food was hot (first tick), food was freshly cooked (second tick)
food was delicious (third tick). None of us had any problems, we all enjoyed the food, the staff were all pleasant, hard working , couldn't do enough to make sure you had everything you wanted. Prices very reasonable.
We are going back again for Father's day. We were really impressed and thought how nice it was to eat out and not have one issue or problem to deal with. Highly recommend this restaurant.
I went to Rustic Olive last night ( Tuesday ) the place was packed. The food was great as always and the service was just as good.

We love the Olive. We have been to the Olive on numerous occasions. We are Redcliffe locals and know that you need to book to get a table there. We usually have the same dishes - once you know what you like, you want it time and time again. The Veal Lemone is wonderful. We just returned from Sydney and tried a few Italian restaurants there. Rustic Olive's Veal Lemone was the best by far.
A great Italian place!. We've been to Rustic Olive a number of times and have always had a pleasant experience even when they are extremely busy (ie Valentine's Day). The food is delicious and the menu offers a lot of choice. I've been to a lot of restaurants that try to pass off as traditional 'italian' but these guys do it really well. Food usually comes out reasonably quickly and the staff are friendly. A lovely establishment and definitely intend to go back!!
Always busy and has an extensive menu. Will not have trouble finding something that suits your tastebuds. Food is good but not up to the standards of mamas Italian resteraunt at margate. Owner does sometimes makes his way around tables to say giddy which is nice and is in a great location.
Had dinner there on Tuesday night and the fact that this restaurant was almost booked out says volumes.
Between the four of us we ordered a pizza, pasta, chicken and seafood dish with each being fresh and very tasty. Along with the garlic focaccia the serves were generous without compromising quality. The service was quick and very friendly and available to help or answer questions.
Overall it was a very enjoyable meal in a nice location and to top it off, it needn't break the bank with a huge range of meals to suit your budget.
I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Food great as always but instead of the old 2 sessions it seems lile they are cramming in too many for a single sitting. Literally had to jump over my chair to get in to my table. Wait staff didnt offer drinks. Got the bill without an offer of coffee or cake. Seemed like a ruah to egt home

One of the best Italian food I had in Brisbane. However the service was disappointing. Waitress sent dishes to wrong tables, forgot orders and other unprofessional behaviours. I have no problem for hiring teenagers as waitresses. But they should have proper training before serving customers.

Went here without booking on a Saturday night, they were extremely busy and had run out of a lot of things. I ordered gnocchi which was great and my daughter had pumpkin ravioli which was amazing. All the pasta appeared to be homemade and the flavours were sooo very good. Definitely going back. 💜

The food was very good, not the greatest, but certainly well priced. Delivered quickly. Choice of serving sizes... small was ample. Large was marginally bigger. Dessert was delightful.

The lighting was great. Enough to provide good ambience for warm conversations. The sound was good. Bustling with people. But at our table we could all hear each other easily.
We had a lovely night. We felt the pressure to exit, as everything was closing up and at 8.30 we were the last to leave.
The food is ALWAYS AMAZING. lovely family owned and run business. Love it every time we go.
