Review Ceylon Inn Classic Curries - Redcliffe

Not many words for this. Service was good and location great. For the price and ratings I was hoping for better food and a bit more clean sitting arrangement. Not an issue with the ladies running the place and they were awesome just not enough capacity to do justice to the task at hand. I have had real Indian and Ceylon food in the country and other places and will rate this at the not good end of spectrum. However I enjoyed the view and my drink. The staff did offer a take away of the hardly touched food and were courteous.

We love this restaurant. We have eaten here on a number of occasions for both lunch & dinner, and also booked a large table upstairs to celebrate my parents birthdays. However, it would be great if they had the windows cleaned so we could actually see the water. But the staff are wonderful and they have best atmosphere out of all the Indian restaurants on the peninsula. Its warm, colourful and well furnished. I feel at home here and the rest room on the second floor has everything you need and more.

We had a delicious dinner here with our little family! Amazing food, fresh, quick (not a busy night though) and good portion sizes. Lovely service with a smile :) excellent value for money, we will definatley be back. Thanks to the whole team

Delicious food - you can order it as hot or mild as you like. Helpful, friendly staff checked meals for ingredients with respect to food allergies and sensitivities - which is very important. Not every ingredient is listed on the menu so it worthwhile to ask instead of assuming what is in it. When something on the menu proved to be unsuitable for these reasons the chef recommended a tasty substitute dish. Seating upstairs can be a bit quieter than downstairs, or you can choose from several footpath tables. Whichever location you choose the decor is pleasantly themed.

Was planning to go to restaurant for partners birthday tonight as it was his choice for dinning,have been quite a few times and have loved the food,atmosphere and especially the fantastic friendly service,but unfortunately we have had a couple of big storms and strong wind tonight,so thought we would try home delivery service(must admit i was a bit dubious thinking will it still be top quality food) should never of had a doubt in my head,like always it was top quality food and delicious as alway. Take my advice and go there for a meal,you will not be disappointed by food,atmosphere or their top customer service......

My Friends and I, went here for dinner last night! The staff were so lovely and very helpful! The food was amazing and definitely worth the money! The wait time was very fast! We sat in the lounge at the front, It was very comfortable and such a great experience! I would definitely be going back sometime in the near future! 10/10 recommend to anyone in the area!

It was average food, we ordered four different Currie's but only one was as per Indian taste, remaining three were not even close to Indian curries. Naans were too thick and chef was not even able to modify curries as per customer request. Only positive was customer service. But I am not going back.

We always love going to Ceylon Inn, it has great vibe, amazing service and even better food. They are very consistent, every time we go, no matter how busy they are the staff are always very helpful and attentive and the food is always superb. The Ceylon Inn is for anyone who loves curry!
