The team here are super friendly. Always ask for the specials because 99% of the time- it’s really really good. Definitely try out the sodas! Come for the good coffee and food, leave with their ice cream!

Great place to visit for the locals in Reservoir 3073. The staff were amiable and easy going. The food for a vegan style had flavour, and coffee was a killer. I recommend visiting if you want a lovely aesthetic looking cafe with great food and vibe in the northern area. Thanks

Amazing food, friendly service, lovely interior. My new local favorite! Had the vegan scrambled eggs, perfect flavors, not too oily, we also had the hot cakes which were awesome (can easily be shared between 2 people), the snickers smoothie is superb (awesome flavored and not too sweet), also pulled pork on rosti was delicious!!!

The new owners of this cafe have done an amazing job. The food is incredible with very generous serves. They have a beautiful new fitout that creates warmth and comfort. The coffee is very good and lastly but in no way the least, impeccable service. A genuine treat in the northern suburbs.

Best Cafe in the area. The staff are always so friendly and although they are a reasonably new Cafe I always feel like a regular. Best coffee & pastries! They've really nailed the menu with delicious food too. Keep it up guys, we love our new local.

Seems to have new owners now. Ordered a muffin and got no cutlery to go with it. Asked for a fork, never came. Used my hands to eat it. It was cold, like out of the fridge cold. Not like before where it would be warmed up for customers. Unfortunately this is the closest coffee shop to me, and they seem to have already given themselves an extra long Christmas break? Back in February? I was a regular, but not anymore. I’d rather travel double the distance to the nearest Maccas.

Great cafe, large & airy with easy street parking. Friendly staff & great coffee. The smashed avocado was yum, generous amount of avo & the samphire salsa was unique & tasty. Side of mushrooms were chunky field mushrooms which were very tasty.<br/>Not an overly extensive menu, can’t fault our meals.

Consistently good coffee, hands down the best coffee in Reservoir/Preston. Lovely staff and while I’ve only eaten here once the breakfast was beautiful. They also make pretty good juices

Who knew a place like this existed in back streets of Reservoir. <br/><br/>Started coming here for the coffee - the best in the area by far. <br/>Stopped in today for brunch. Was expecting to just get a croissant and coffee when I saw what was on offer on the specials board. <br/>I ordered the croquettes, and wow, fresh, generous size and absolutely delicious. <br/><br/>We also took a Vegan raw mint slice away with us too. <br/><br/>This place is awesome and has everything I want/need in my local cafe. But honestly, even if I moved away, I’d still visit frequently.<br/><br/>See you again soon guys,<br/>Love Mrs Brunch

Nicest staff I have had a pleasure of being served by! Coffee is the best around. We literally drive down from wherever we are on the weekends to have a coffee here rain hail or shine.

Definitely struck by the attentiveness of the staff. The specials menu read like a dream and my French toast was sublime. Though I’d almost say it was a bit too much, the waffles seemed smaller by comparison but still delicious.

No vegan options. Not sure how plant based friends are supposed to eat here if all they can have is a soy/almond latte. While I appreciate the milk alternatives, I cannot bring friends here for breakfast.

I really did enjoy this place. Great ambience and customer service. I really do see this cafe building strong relationships with their local customers and their regular customers, just from the great service they have provided. This place had great food with fresh ingredients. Pretty typical brunch place I must admit but it’s nice to have a brunch place in the northern suburbs. I do advise that they should expand on more unique varieties of brunch food choices for their menus, from this, I know they will grow bigger and better!!

Dont even bother.....plenty of better cafes around that are cleaner... always disappointed and their free range eggs are not always free range like they say...

I have been going to Gellibrand since it opened and I've always had a good experience. The decor of the cafe is really simple but modern, pretty much all made using wood and steel. Coffee is always really nice and so is the food. I usually go for the chicken focaccia or the BLAT. Both super yummy. Staff is always very friendly and smiley 😊

I like this place.  Good coffee, excellent service.  <br/><br/>Food isn't high quality or anything fancy by any means, but reasonable priced nonetheless.<br/><br/>The position and layout is good.  This is a good simple local.  I just wish they upped their food game, even if prices went up a little to go with it.

Such a refreshing cafe to find in Reservoir amongst a number of not so good cafes closer into the centre of town. This cute little venue is a 10 min walk from home (✔️) and is much bigger inside than it appears from the shop front. Anywhere that serves a malted milkshake in an old school silver cup is gonna be on my faves list! Staff were super friendly and the food was delish. Will defs be back!

Haven't tried the food yet but hands down the best coffee in the area!!!. I've just moved here from Prahran where your spoilt for choice when it comes to coffee, not so in Reservior. This place would easily hold its own in Prahran.

Wonderful local gem, it's a lovely modern cafe very trendy and beautifully decorated. Service is very friendly and informative. The food was absolutely delicious also the coffee. absolutely recommend their chai latte. They have a large selection of coffees and beverages reasonably priced wonderful place to meet up with friends. 👍

Came to Gellibrand by chance and I was glad to see such a beautiful venue out in the burbs 😀<br/><br/>The service was lovely and very professional, and once seated I could admire the stunning interior design of this joint 😍<br/><br/>The menu offered different options but my eyes got attracted by their Thai Chicken Salad, so I went for it. Unfortunately the dish was underwhelming and didn't deliver what it promised: Thai flavours. It was bland and a quarted wedge of lime and sweet chilli sauce were not enough to make it Thai 😣.<br/><br/>Having said so, this was probably not thei strongest dish and I am sure the rest of the menu is worthy a visit, hence I will come back 😊. This time was a miss but next time I will order something else.<br/><br/>

Great little hidden gem! Nice shop fit out and customer service. Food is yum and coffee is great! I love that they used an entire avocado! Most places will not do that, so value for money was good! Would recommend and will deff be back!

I was suggested to go here by a local. Cool shop fit out and cool concept but good didn't deliver and I don't understand the ice cream neon? Would maybe give it another go.

Little cute cafe hidden among the houses. After reading a few reviews the fritters is a hit even tho it's only a specials. I do have to say the Thai chicken salad has a mixture of flavours and they work well together which make it quite refreshing plus healthy.<br/>Waffles here are amazing, fluffy and light in the inside and crispy on the outside. Chai latte here they actually used real chai tea so you get the bitter strong taste that you don't normally get with powder chai. Services here are amazing, lovely friendly stuff. This place is children/babies and pram friendly.

From their specials board, this Grilled chicken Burger comes with tomato, lettuce, garlic Aioli and smashed avacado on a ciabatta style bun. <br/>Grilled chicken was tender and juicy, the flavour combination of the garlic, tomato and the smashed avacado with every bite was delicious. I'm not big a fan of avacado #shockhorror 😅 but even I will admit that it really brought another dimension to the burger, it didn't over complicate the burger at all. <br/>This is another example of a fantastic meal, cooked very well using simple fresh ingredients<br/>. <br/>Lots of other meal and beverage choices available. <br/>I believe this cafe has been trading for a few months now, it's a funky little place, with a very relaxed atmosphere, kid friendly and the staff are engaging and warm. It's nice to see a decent cafe come to this side of Reservoir at last. Friendly staff, good service, good coffee and a pleasant relaxed atmosphere.

Have been waiting for a cafe like this to open around this area! Fantastic coffee and donuts - plus it was easy to get a table on a Sunday :)

I've been here several times now, and I'm really impressed by how consistently good the service is. The food and coffee are excellent and I'm pretty sure this will be my go to place for weekend breakfasts.

Great local cafe. I've eaten there a few times with my wife and kids. The food is lovely, the poached eggs are always perfect and the service very friendly.

Edit 25/7/18: Have stopped coming here. Last visit included a surly wait staff and terrible coffee. The muffins that once were moist and delicious were now bland and dry. So sad that this local has deteriorated so much. <br/>Rating 2 Edit: really sorry to say that this place hasn’t kept its lustre, and now I only come here for the occasional coffee and muffin, and that’s very dependent in who’s making coffee. One of the baristas (presumably the owner) makes really terrible coffees, whilst the other makes them consistently great. <br/><br/>Rating: 4.5<br/>Great new cafe in an unassuming spot. Visited here today and had the corn and zucchini fritters. A stack of great tasting fritters, with avocado and a poached egg on top. This was accompanied with a tasty tomato relish. Coffee, roasted by wide open road, was superb. On top of this, the staff were attentive and very friendly. Would highly recommend.

This place is wonderfull staff are friendly and as a mum they are really accomodating when we have the prams it was lovely to eat there and my husband absolutely loves the coffee

Great addition to the area. Almost gave it a miss due to the whingey vegan review below but glad we didn't. I had a soy latte, very nice coffee, my wife an almond strawberry milkshake, loved it. I got the steak sandwich and it was excellent, really nice onion jam, thought it might be too many ingredients but they blended together perfectly. My wife's vego and found her choices a bit limited, got the corn & zucchini fritters, really nice but to be honest one or two bites not fully cooked through. She's preggers and asked for the poached egg to be fried hard, which they were more than happy to oblige. Nice fit-out, airy, plenty of space, friendly attentive staff. Will defo be back.

They've been open less than a month, and I managed 2 visits in less than 24 hours - I think I've found my new local! Tucked away in a little suburban pocket of Reservoir, it's not the kind of place that's going to get crazy foot traffic, so they're going to have to rely pretty heavily on good word of mouth. That shouldn't be too much of a problem...
