This restaurant offers great service and delicious food. The sushi is extremely fresh, unique and melts in your mouth. The raw salmon and tuna were super rich and fatty. The seaweed salad was well seasoned. Great spot.
I finally got to try Sakura Fresh Sushi and it has become one of my favourite joints close to home. I am a personal lover of the extravagant rolls and there is so much variety here for such decent prices.
I ordered the grilled salmon, the soft shell crab and the tiger chicken roll.
My personal favourite would be the soft shell crab since there is so much texture. The sauce of the tiger roll though was just amazing! I couldn't fault any of the dishes. The restaurant is small and quite cozy, definitely will be returning to try more of the menu. Staff were friendly and food also arrived quite quickly. I rarely give out 5 stars but it's 5 stars from me
Not only is the food amazing, i've been coming here for a few years (travelling 40minutes) for the best sushi, and my recent visit proved how admirable the owners are. I had left my wallet at the restaurant without realising it, a few hours later one of the employees had driven all the way to return it back. Best staff and food confirmed.

One of my favourite sushi places!!! My go to is the soft shell crab roll. The sashimi and takoyaki aren’t amazing, they’re better known for their sushi rolls. I’ve been here for a few years now so I’ve noticed management and staff change a few times. Nonetheless the quality is still great!! They’ve got a huge customer base and are so affordable!!
Tried the tempura today and I was honestly so shocked at how good it was!! So crispy and fresh. Sydney’s tempura has always been quite old and stable so I was really impressed!!
Loveeeeee this place 😍😍 been here on so many different occasions and it honestly never disappoints! I always have to order the grilled salmon roll (it’s bomb asf) and the takoyaki balls (so fresh and hot 😍). The soft shell crab roll and crunch special roll are also amazing. I love how generous they are with the filling and the presentation is on point 👌🏿 if you’re after something other than sushi their udon is also pretty good as well (the noodles are nice and chewy but soft) would 100% recommend to everyone

LOVE LOVE LOVE Sakura!! Their Sushi rolls are always tasty and the presentation is always so beautiful. Its definitely my to go to Sushi place aside from Sushi train restraunts. Love the people, very quick service.
I have been here numerous times and almost always order the same thing: Grilled salmon roll with less of the teriyaki sauce, seaweed salad, and miso soup. I also recommend their avocado and sashimi salad as well as their California roll for something smaller and cheaper. The service here has always been friendly and I've never had a bad experience. I've taken many of my friends here and they've always loved it.
Small little sushi shop with such amazing quality sushi! Never disappoints! Volcano roll is my absolute fav! If you’re into sushi that is drowned in sauce and full of flavour with a tint of cream cheese - volcano roll is defs for you! Hands down my favourite of all time! The grilled salmon roll is also very good! I love this place cause they drown their sushi in sauce and i love my sauce! Definitely my go-to sushi spot! Highly recommend!!
Always have ordered the same dishes. Volcano roll, new California roll, grilled salmon and the small sashimi platter. Always hits the spot as they overload the toppings with their combined sauces. Have always a pleasure eating there with great service and friendly staff. The dishes takes about 5-10 mins but they make it so efficiently and beautiful.

This little sushi joint has a huge huge menu and variety of dishes from sushi to udon to ramen to sashimi and much more. While they do have the more traditional nigiri sushi and sashimi what is very popular are their non-traditional sushi rolls e.g. the volcano roll, crispy prawn roll. They will come slathered in savoury sauces and mayonnaise with a wonder of textures from crunchy vegetables, crispy fried seafood, and warm rice. All food is made to order very quickly. Seating is limited but takeaway is always an option.
Prices are bit expensive. But they are freshly made. I have never been sick eating from here despite the appearance of the store. Old decor. Weird layout.
Fresh sushi and amazing large rolls at an affordable price. I've been here many times and their quality for value is great. I love the seared salmon roll! It has crab, prawn and avocado inside as well. We also had the karagee chicken (tastes different to other sushi places), takoyaki balls, sashimi and a prawn crunch roll.
Got there one hour before closing and the staff where very friendly and helpful.
We ordered a udon and two sakura special rolls, the Tiger Roll and the Smoked Salmon Roll. Both sushi rolls where flavourful and super generous, the only problem was getting the whole thing into your mouth. 🤣
Not bad at all! Quick service and hits the spot. A bit too much sauce on the rolls, but not enough to really complain about. Will definitely add this to the rotation for date night!
For such an unassuming little restaurant, the food here is always very good. Some of the best sushi I've ever tasted. More interesting varieties to choose from than other sushi places I've been to.
Sakura is my absolute favourite place to go for sushi. It's super fresh and has great combo rolls. Also, they pack in the raw tuna like crazy, which totally gives you value for your money. Very inexpensive and you'll leave full and satisfied. I recommend the grilled salmon roll and the sashimi! (Sorry for the crappy pics)
The place itself looked a bit run down but food was amazing nonetheless. There were the right amount of flavours and sauces on each dish that we had ordered. Would definitely come back. Everything was fresh. One minor downside was the price. Price was a bit inflated for the portions we had received. We ordered a volcano, mixed platter (wouldn't recommend, as it is rather mediocre), salmon roll and the last one was a chicken sushi. Personal favourite was the volcano. It had a touch of spice to it, but wasn't too overwhelming.
Even though the prices increased, i cant resist their sushi. Grabbed the grilled salmon and teriyaki chicken sakura special rolls for $30 for 2 of us. Cooked fresh and served within 10 minutes. Love the amount of sauce. Superb location and service.
Came back and tried their avo and salmon large rolls for $11. Good stuff.
A few hit an misses here but as I've been dinning for quite some time I have found my holy grail! Can't go pass the volcano roll and prawn tempura roll! Unfortunately the potion sizes change from time to time depending on how busy they are.
My mate Wyzz is always there, I didn't know why but now I know. Would recommend 10/10

Lovely sushi made fresh whilst you wait. Seems very popular with all the outdoor dining seats taken. The only thing I didn't like was that it was cash only.
The sushi here is nice but the rice could have been softer. However, the sushi is really well done so I'd like to visit again. The price range varies but there are always cheaper options - smaller rolls.
Definitely a pleasant neighbourhood sushi place but it's a 50/50 as to if it's worth a trek out of your way.
The outdoor experience will naturally vary depending on the season and weather but there are some seats indoors.
All I can say is order the Grilled Salmon Special and you can die happy. 😍 But seriously, this place is really perfect for your late night sushi cravings! Good thing it’s just 5 mins away from our place. 🍣
Tip: they only accept cash so be prepared. But there’s a nearby ANZ Bank and NAB around the area.
Part of my list to go to's! The sushi is fresh and the portions are fantastic for the price range. They also have a wide variety in there menu so I'm sure you'll be able to find something you're after. My personal fave is the large teriyaki chicken roll and California roll!
