We went there for dinner. The best chicken saagwala I have eaten. The chicken was tender and full of flavour. Absolutely recommend it!
We come here on a regular basis never have had a bad meal
Definitely recommend!
Went for dinner tonight with my family and we all loved it. Between us we ordered a wide range of dishes and each one was delicious and authentically flavored and spiced. Perfect portion size and very cool aesthetic to the place. Service was exceptional and they were very accommodating to all requests made. We will definitely be back!
Best Indian restaurant in the area and exceptional customer service. Highly recommend.
This is our favourite restaurant! Best Indian we have had in Adelaide!!! Amazing food and amazing customer service
Service, food and prices were all great. Authentic spices, not oily and full of flavour. Can tell that the food is made from scratch..decor is beautiful
I love Indian food. Came here with the family for my birthday dinner and wasn't disappointed. Beautiful food, great friendly service. I love the restaurant decor and atmosphere, although I was surprised that they weren't busier. Meat is always tender, great flavours and good value.
Highly recommend Mr India!
The service was great, the food amazing! We had vegetable pakoras which were crisp & delicious. The mains were lamb korma which was just wonderful, perfect balance of flavours. Also beef vindaloo which had nice heat. Both meats were falling apart tender! This is now our favourite Indian restaurant!
Great. Service was good, not sure why they didn't have more diners on a Sunday night. Onion bhajii was crisp and nicely seasoned, Pakoras were a little dry and cold which was a disappointment. Roti was nicely charred, Aloo Chole Masala was rich with the right amount of spice. Waiting staff had good knowledge of what was vegan and menu was clearly marked with GF and vegan options.
Amazing food. Beautiful decor, made me feel like I am in India. Waitress was dressed in Indian clothes and greeted me with a smile and a " namaste". Food was awesome! The best Indian food in south.
Belly dancer!?. We have only ever had takeaway from Mr India twice, while there can be quite a wait even when we ring from home we have been happy with the service and food. Last time I was there waiting for our food with my 2 year old son they had a belly dancer moving in and out the tables and the diners looked a bit awkward :/ . But my experience with the food has been fine.
Good currys.. Wouldnt bother with samosas or bahji's etc.... Not great.
Enjoyed it very much. I bought a scoopon for $49 and forgot to use it.....then realised with horror that it was due to expire on the day I remembered to look at the expiry date! I rang Mr India at Reynella (Tuesday) and asked if I could use the scoopon and dine that night....and they said YES! My husband and I had low expectation as the only other scoopon experience we had was AWFUL - so we were a little nervous. We had no reason to worry. The decor was nice, background music appropriate, and the staff were wonderful. Very friendly and attentive - chatty to the right levels. We got to order from the normal menu and the food was presented nicely and most importantly - was tasty and beyond expectation. We will return. Giant thumbs up from us!
Delish!. Just dined at Mr India at Old Reynella. The prices are so low, couldnt believe how well we were fed at such a low cost. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was lovely. Best of all was the food. Not being a big Indian food eater, it was so delicious I want to go back very soon. Big servings and lots of flavour. YUM! Thank you!!! :)
Excellent service. there spice ratings were a bit off. Def value for money. Can't wait to go back and have more naan bread
I went there last night with my girlfriend. There is nothing really bad I can say about the place. The food was delicious, service was great and the venue was nice. It was my first visit last night but I will definitely going again
Excellent quality service and food! Loved the chairs. Great vibe in this restaurant.
Good location, easy parking out the back.
Very clean toilet facilities.
Vegetable pakora was really nice. Palak Paneer was delicious. Highly recommend this place if you are looking to eat nice Indian food in a restaurant with awesome atmosphere.
This is my favourite local Indian Restaurant, the staff are always so welcoming, kind and very attentive. Special mention to Boomi (sorry if I have mispelt your name) she is always greeting all patrons with a smile and we have never had a bad experience over our many years of dining at Mr India. Actually have been dining here since November 2016 and cannot fault them at all - every dining experience has been wonderful. But more importantly, the food is always flavoursome, fresh and delicious. It is no wonder that they are always flat out when it comes to take aways. It is our go to for family gatherings and great for large groups.Spacious dining area with beautiful decor that adds to the ambience. Our usual order consists of butter chicken, all the variations of madras curry, pumpkin, chickpeas and spinach salan as well as cheesy garlic naan. Great selections of beverages with the best one being the mango lassi! Such an all round gem of a restaurant - if you haven't been... make a booking now!
Second time here at Mr Indian.
My wife and I really enjoying coming here; the customer service is really good, they are polite attentive and pleasant-which is a big plus for my wife! The atmosphere is great too, it hasn't been too noisy which I prefer.
Food is terrific! Probably the best Indian down south! Served hot, tastes amazing, great flavours and decent portion ( compared to other dine-in Indian ).
This is definitely a local worth supporting with takeaways or dine-in!! We will be back!
Terrific authentic Indian restaurant in Southern Adelaide. Excellent, efficient, friendly service. Delicious quality meals. Nice atmosphere. Good Covid measures. Recommend and would revisit.
Food was good though many dishes needed to be ordered for 7 people. In fact, it ended up too much for people who are hungry! However, food could be taken home. Overall, a very pleasant evening. Lovely decor and some Indian music would give a nice touch. A careful watch of open fire is necessary, especially in winter. Baby changing amenities are lacking.
Highly recommended. I lived and worked in India for a while and whenever I go to Mr India the smell of the food takes me back to those enjoyable days. Then there is the taste which is about authentic as you can get. Even turns out that one of the staff came from the town I lived in, Coimbatore. And they say Adelaide's a small place!
Just want to say what a great restaurant you have! It is the first time we have dined there (but won't be the last!). Service was friendly. Open fire lovely. The food came quickly and was just delicious. Thank you for a lovely night. :)
What a great place to have dinner. The food was fantastic, perfectly cooked. We loved everything we tried in the banquet for 2 and as soon as we where ready for the next part of the banquet it came out straight away! Customer service was exceptional, they went above and beyond to make sure we where happy. This will be our new favourite spot for Indian. Can't wait to dine in again!
