I came here for the first time yesterday and it blew my mind! The food is massive to say the least! And it’s also filling, beautifully made and fast service! ✨
Was there for ikea shopping with Xihuahua 🐶 . Gotta grab this new found love gozleme. There are heaps of chicken, spinach and cheese in there! Bread is very thin. Roll it up and dip it in chilli mayo. Soooo good!
Tried their hot veg gozleme and baklava. The gozleme was nice and oozing with thw fillings and made patiently. The baklava had a lot of variations like timtam, salted caramel, pistachio to name a few.
If I’m being realistic, I get something from here probably once every 2 months. Not that often. Main reason being that I’m not in love with gozleme, I’m quite indifferent to it. If I compare this place to others that sell gozleme it’s probably middle of the pack. The service that I received from one of the workers there though was absolutely outstanding. Not sure if he’s the manager or not but he was extremely charismatic and knows exactly what great customer service is. I give him a 5/5 and the food a passable 3.5/5 (wasn’t bad but didn’t blow my mind) hence my 4/5 rating (and anything 4 or more is something that I recommend to my friends and family). In my opinion there’s not a lot of amazing options in the food court at Rhodes so if you’re there and looking for somewhere to eat give them a go!
Good portioning and pricing, not too oily and will definitely beat any hunger. Lots of flavours to try and will definitely be back for more! :)
I love going to this place because the staff are friendly and make gozleme fresh to order. I particularly love their peri peri chicken gozleme as it comes with a side of sauce. Great tasting gozleme and full of flavour, Gozleme King is clearly the best Turkish street food in Sydney! It’s definitely too good to share!
A small turkish cafe in the Rhodes shopping centre. Just next to the cinema. kunefe with Turkish tea was absolutely amazing! Was one of the best kunefe that I have tried in Australia! Will definitely return 👍
A current promotion offers Nutella gozleme for the bargain price of $5 after 5pm. Made fresh to order, the Nutella oozes out of the warm flatbread, and is a delicious snack.
Freshly made gozleme in store with a wide range of fillings available. Turkish delight imported in from Turkey, very authentic and tasted amazing! Great place to have lunch or afternoon tea and enjoy some Turkish tea and baklava (many different flavours available as well)
Better than its competitor 'Sahara Grill' in the Rhodes foodcourt. Most important for me was that the ladies at Gozleme King had no problem with putting my gozleme in the reusable container I had taken along with me. No need to take the single-use packaging. Second, their range of vegetarian options was far superior. Third, the ingredients are added and the gozleme cooked fresh. At Sahara Grill they had the gozleme pre-made, which meant when they'd sold out of the vegetarian ones there was no option for non-meat eaters.
A good, warm feed.
The gozleme's here are fairly cheap (although prices have increased marginally) and filling too. The peri peri chicken one is really nice but the beef in their gozleme isn't to my liking. Their nutella gozleme is pleasant too :) overall good cheap food and friendly service
I wish I could have Gozleme King's gozleme for my lunch break all the time. They always serve them fresh and it's such a treat during Winter. I normally order the spinach & feta filling because I love the simplicity of it - who knew two ingredients would be so full of flavour?
For someone that works a retail day job and getting half hour breaks, I can't afford to buy gozlemes here because they take a while to be cooked. But I totally understand why, which is no reason why I should bring my rating down. The gozlemes here are a dream and they're so worth waiting for!
My favorite is herbed potato with feta cheese...It has subtle flavors and seems quite healthy to me....I dont get it anywhere else...The most common one which is Spinach and feta is not that good here..The other variety which is very popular is the one with nutella. Giving it 4 star. :)
Really enjoy coming here, the gozleme is always fresh and packed with falvour. Great for a quick breakfast on-the-go. The coffee is pretty weak but the service is very friendly and very fast. I always enjoy what I'm served here. :)
Gozleme is a popular dish that I usually eat at festivals or at an event but I've noticed Gozleme King is fast expanding across Sydney. I try it for the first time in Rhodes. For those who don't know what gozleme is, it's a traditional turkish dish which consists of a thin, soft flat bread that is dusted with butter and eggs and filled with toppings. You often see gozlemes at a kebab shop. Sometimes they are quite oily and bready. For photos and full review go to blog post
I love gozleme and Gozleme King do it well. ❤
I ordered the chilli potato which was an ingredient I had never tried before. It comes with feta cheese, but after the staff agreed to switch it over to mushrooms, I was super excited to dig in. It was delicious, it was amazing. Gozleme hardly ever does any wrong and I’m so glad this one also really hit the spot. It was actually not that chilli at first but by the end you’ll notice it has built up. However, if you love your spicy food, I think it’ll be doable to add chilli flakes. Bf really enjoyed his ‘the lot’ as well.
It’s fast, it’s delicious, and it’s cheap – what’s not to love!
I don't have much to say about Gozleme King at Rhodes except the gozleme they make is outstanding! As part of a Zomato food tour we were invited to try a variety of gozleme -- the traditional fetta cheese with spinach, the marinated potato with chilli, peri peri chicken as well as a dessert gozleme, Nutella Dream.
All the gozleme were absolutely delicious and since the tour I've revisited multiple times when in a snacky mood. Staff are polite and friendly and take note of the fixtures which have been imported from the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul.
Gozleme King's gozleme is transporting in it's moreishness. Yum.
For the second stop on our Rhodes Waterside x Zomato food tour, we were transported to the streets of Turkey for some authentic Gozleme at Gozleme King!. We tried three different types of savory Gozleme – the Lamb, the Spicy Potato and the Peri Peri Chicken. While all three were amazing, my favourite by far was the spicy potato, as it was unlike anything I’ve eaten before, and had a good kick of chilli to it. The lamb is great as a milder option, with just as much flavour and taste.
Bossman Koray is super nice and super passionate about the food he is producing here. He makes the dough fresh every morning weighing it to the precise measurement so that everyone can enjoy the super thing exterior of the crunchy gozleme being made. I highly recommend the Peri Peri Chicken and the Gourmet Lamb Gozleme.
Be transported to the streets of Istanbul with each bite of your Gozleme King gozleme. Listening to Ozzy the owner describe the gozleme's you can see the love and adoration for each and every item on his menu.
These aren't your standard food stall gozleme's, grab a Gourmet lamb with fetta, spinach and mint or perhaps the peri chicken, whatever you do definitely order one of the marinated potato gozleme's, it packs a punch in terms of spice but keeps you coming back for more and more bites, each one better than the last.
You'd be foolish to not grab one extra to satisfy your sweet tooth, and you can't go wrong with Nutella or a selection of their flavoured baklava's - go the bounty, you won't regret it!
Really enjoyed the experience sampling the "Creme de la creme" of Gozleme King. We tried the "Marinated Chili Potato", Feta & Spinach, Nutella Dream. There were also Three flavours of Baklava which I didn't got a chance to try as was too overwhelmed with the Gozlemes.
"Marinated Chili Potato" is a very well researched and well implemented dish. Two words "Perfect Balance" I can eat the whole plate by myself but it may ruin the chance of getting future invite.
The Nutella Dream is also very nice. The right portion of Nutella in a perfectly done Gozleme crust plus the fresh sliced banana. Heaven...
If you haven't tried GK, strongly recommend you do. I personally will come back for the Zaatar and Sujuk.
Best coffee in the shopping centre. Gozleme and breakfast options are also great and always made fresh to order. Also has its own seating away from food court. Service is friendly and quick even when busy. Koray and Rachel are the best, always remember my coffee, welcoming and friendly. I am a regular here as work just nearby and will definitely keep coming back.
Very impressed with the gentleman who remembered me. I go to Rhodes often, but wasn't expecting that. Gozleme was fresh and tasty.
During my visit to pick up traditional Turkish breakfast 😋 received a great customer service and this is my first time eating Turkish breakfast so can't really compare but overall friendly staff members and descent food 👍

Reasonable price, different kinda street fast food, made with fresh dough.
Just came for the Turkish knafeh and was pretty happy with the quality. Service was friendly and they give you a heads up that it’ll be a bit of a wait but it’s understandable. There other foods look pretty good whilst I waited. May try their other foods next time too.
Amazing Turkish food. One of the best Gozleme Kings in my opinion. Hands down the best coffee in Rhodes. Just lovely staff as well!
