Auvers is quite simply amazing. The layout feels welcoming and homely, the staff are friendly and attentive. It feels like home; but with art and black sesame lattes.
When it comes to the menu, it's quality over quantity - and the quality shines through amazingly. First, you NEED to have the matcha pancakes, and then work everything else out around that. The beef cheeks are melt in your mouth delicious. All the menu items including drinks just seem to be better versions of themselves than in other cafes.
Auvers Cafe is both a visual and palatable experience, which I couldn't recommend enough to visitors of Rhodes. I'll definitely be back!
Food was amazing! The beef cheek is a definitely must, it just melts in your mouth and is full of flavour! The matcha pancake was also really good and very generous. Will definitely recommend.

Great little cafe hidden away in a quiet part of Rhodes. Coffee was excellent as well as the green tea latte. Looking forward to trying the other lattes on the menu including taro latte which I've never seen before. Service was attentive. Despite us only having drinks, table water was provided without us asking for it which was appreciated.

The interior is nice. The food and coffee also tasted delicious! We ordered Auvers Egg Benedict, Tempura Soft Shell Crab Burger, and Chips with Saffron Mayo. We love it!
Had the Crab Omelette and Crab Rice Burger. Presentation was IGrific. Taste was delicious, especially the sauces which was interesting and really added to the dish. Coffee was smooth (flat white) and not too bitter (picolo). Friendly wait staff.
Lost one star because the cafe had an overwhelming smell of oil. Our clothes were drenched in the stale oil smell that you would expect from spending too long in a dark and dank fish and chip shop. Hope they would consider upgrading their exhaust fan or outdoor seating.
One of my favourite cafes in Sydney! The food is consistently delicious- I really recommend the truffle fried rice and crab omelette. It does tend to get quite busy on the weekend with some wait time, so I suggest going early if possible.
Nice little Cafe with delicious food. Ordered Carlifonia crab rice burger, truffles fried rice and Miss piggy waffles. All tasted good. Like the fried food as they are all oily. Coffee is nice too. Price is a bit expensive but worth for the experience. An unexpected little gift as birthday present for my wife after paying the bill. That's customer service!
The cafe is nice and cosy. Food is delicious and well presented. Service is quick and staffs are super friendly. It’s always busy at weekend, but the turnaround is pretty quick. Will definitely come back again.
I wouldnt usually order brunch takeout but this place is outstanding. Inventive little twists on breakfast staples that are genuinely tasty rather than just novelty. Got the eggs bene, truffle fried rice, chips with saffron mayo and some of their refreshing zesty juices. All delish!
