Must try their black forest. It is a mini version, not too sweet and super moist. I especially enjoyed the high cream to sponge ratio. The cherry is not too acidic. @Xihuahua š¶ ordered her usual flatwhite. It is pretty good place to sit down and relax by the entrance of the mall with a bit of water view.
Waffle topped with strawberries and chocolate witha cuppa hot chocolate are my personal favourite and this place does it beautifully!
Its become our go to spot for a while now. I keep coming back for more.

The location (4/5) is sublime and clear view of water while driving to the place sets the mood perfectly for evening tea/ coffee.. There is chocolate in multiple forms offered to satisfy varied tastebuds (4/5)and decent service to back up the experience(3.5/5). Sitting place is not aplenty which is one of the flipside(3/5) of the place along with occasional slow service(3.5/5) Decent value for money and good feel overall (4/5)...
A good place for a coffee break during shopping. Well located.. Couldn't try their delicacies as we didn't have the appetite. But they sure did look yummy.. Can't wait to return to try their chocolate cake and lava cake. Very tempting. We have a regular milk chocolate mocha and regular cappuccino. Both very good.
Takeaway skim latte while my partner found parking . It was nice and smooth, was incredibly tempted by the sweets cabinet but managed to refrain and exercise some self control lol

I have always loved the hot chocolates at OB. On this occasion when I was running errands, I still craved for one & even though getting takeaway is not the same experience as enjoying it there, cupping the warm mug and having something indulgent to accompany it, it was still so satisfying. I usually go for the dark chocolate but got the coconut hot chocolate this time and it smelled and tasted fantastic! Rich & fresh at the same time. Loved it!

The whole place is scented with the aroma of freshly made waffles and hot chocolate which is very pleasing.
I tried their signature Belgian waffles and strawberries on my visit here. Ā It was a cold outside and hot waffles seemed to the best option. The fresh strawberries and the chocolate sauce went perfectly well with the waffles.
I just feel the waffles were a tad bit chewy and that made the cutting and eating part a bit more tedious than usual!
Hoping to eat waffles at some other OB to change my opinion! Let's hope for the best.
Oliver Brown is the premium version of Starbucks in Sydney, basically its the best Belgian cafe chain to visit in Sydney. I have had many items from the menu such as the milk hot chocolate, the waffles, the fondues and the shakes. The secret lies in the Belgian chocolate and the ambience created by it, you just fall into chocolate heaven.
HUNGRY SUMMARY: orgasmic waffles that you need to try!!
FOOD: got the chocolate waffle with ice cream. Eating the well cooked waffle, drizzled in fine chocolate sauce and combined with the ice cream fills your mouth with dessert heaven. If you want to increase your calories and destroy your progress at the gym then this is the perfect spot.
PRICE: $8 - considering the taste, worth
SERVICE: typical cafe service, set in the bustling Rhodes shopping centre - so if you want a place with peace and quiet then this place won't be an ideal choice

I had the waffle, because I can't resist sweets. The fruit to waffle ratio is unmatched against competitors, very generous serving of strawberries and banana. Absolutely Devine chocolate and the waffle has a rich chocolate mixed within - incredible. Hot chocolate was a perfect blend too; service was very fast - even for the busy crowd they had that day. Yum.
After having a look into Ikea and wishing that we would get stuck in it like in the O.C. "the Mallpisode", we decided to finish off our dinner at Oliver Brown. We got some very yummy milkshakes to start off and the classic classic fondue with strawberries, bananas and marshmallows. Oliver Brown is always a nice and yummy hang-out spot šŖ
Nice hang-out spot with some yummy desserts. A pleasant surprise was their Tiramisu cake - not sickeningly sweet like many other place and just right! Most of their menu is good. Can't go wrong with this one.
To finish off our Rhodes Waterside x Zomato food tour, we needed some sweet treats, so we visited Oliver Brown for our waffle and chocolate fix! We tried four different desserts, as well as their chocolate fondue pots. My favourites from the desserts were the strawberry and banana waffles ā there was a generous drizzle of melted milk chocolate over the warm waffle, and the fruit added an extra refreshing touch.
This is the second OB outlet for me but first time in crowd this big.
Being the last sugar aftershock for the day,have no choice but to choose wisely. For me the ones that tick the boxes are: Small black forest, Dark choc fondue especially the pretzels, strawberries and Ā banana bread, and of course their signature banana waffles.Ā IĀ picked the dark choc mojito as I have tried their hot choc last time. It's like having mint dark chocolate slushies. It may sounds weird but it is actually quite nice. Ā Last but not least really enjoyed their Dark Chocolate slow roasted coffee beans. Don't forget to grab this on your way home, it's worth it.
You can never go wrong with Oliver Brown. Offering a wide range of decadent desserts and deliciously chocolate fueled drinks, it's the perfect place to get your chocolate fix.
I tried a range of their signature dishes and not a single one disappointed. Waffles are one of my all time favourite dessert treats and Oliver brown's live up to and deliver on my infatuation. The fondue gives you the choice of both milk and dark chocolate as you dip a selection of banana bread, pretzels, strawberries, bananas and marshmallows into the chocolate.
Don't leave without grabbing a drink from their hot choccy range, perfect for the cooler months. My pick is the choc coconut hot chocolate.

I do love Oliver brown and this one is as good as the rest of them. Food is always quick and delicious.. Had the lava cake tonight and it was so gooey and yummy.. My sweet tooth will be my undoing š
Normally i avoid the chocolatiers after i lost my sweet tooth, and never to be found again. But i got some surprise macaroons treat last night with two each of dark chocolate and Oreo in a fancy little box and bag. I can deal with dark chocolate as it has a delicious bitterness to it and the macaroon did quite the justice. The macaroon shells were chewy and soft and it had a gooey chocolate cream sandwiched inside (that i found a tad sweet). The Oreo one was beautifully flavoured as well but it lacked the taste of the original Oreo biscuit. Maybe one day i will pay them a visit, just for the dark chocolate macaroon.

I'm not a fan of waffles unless freshly cooked, so wasn't really a fan.
However would definitely come/go to any Oliver Brown for the crepes or hot chocolate.
I have started loving coffee after my first cup of coffee at Oliver Brown ! Perfect mix of chocolate and coffee and it has become my every weekend trip now.. But I think their desserts, banana bread etc., are not upto their coffee standards and that's why 4 it is..
After an exciting lunch, we popped into Oliver Brown at Rhodes for a quick dessert. Despite having stores all across Sydney, this was my first time actually trying Oliver Brown, so I was very interested to see what it would taste like. When looking at the menu, we were conflicted between trying the waffles with ice-cream, or the melted chocolate with fresh strawberries, with both sounding quite amazing! In the end, we compromised in the middle ā we had the Belgian waffles with ice-cream, and an added side of strawberries.
Oliver Brown is not my bae. I'm a Max Brenner kind of woman, through and through. But when presented with the option of a late/ish coffee and dessert meet up, OB was open and available. The staff were friendly enough and the place was clean with plenty of available seating (already miles ahead of my Blacktown experience). My partner and I shared a banana split waffle and milk iced chocolate. The banana split was good, banana was fresh and not under ripe. Iced chocolate left something to be desired, it left a small bitter after taste but the texture of chocolate pieces in the drink were a welcome surprise.

This Oliver brown tends to be busy and can be sometimes of a wait for you food or drinks. Smaller in comparison to other ones.Ā
They have indoor & outdoor seating. As per usual the waffles are good. If you are after something not too sweet then the churros are good although they take a bit longer to make.Ā
My all time is the coconut hot chocolate and then secondly the mint one! Very sweet !
......but MAN the CREME BRULEE icecream is SO aromatic and tasty... I would visit again just for the icecream. Scroll down to see the selection they have!
Wonderful cafe!. Came here with a few mates on a meeting. Great atmosphere, my mocha and friand were both fabulous.
Coffee here once a week - almost always perfect coffee. Love that the male korean barista with glasses always serves you with a smile, he makes great coffee and he's always so friendly despite hectic crowds at times - thankyou!

The food here was the best part - the NY Cheesecake is simply great and a dream, but truth be told, it was not as fresh as one that we have had at 2 other Oliver Browns
The Snickers cheesecake is also unique and really sweet, and tasted great.
The crunchy balls hot chocolate was a slight letdown, with it tasting slightly off relative to this same product ordered at other OBs previously.
The service was really average, with there being some slight standoffish tone and mannerisms. They did however provide me a takeaway box on request, so I will give some credit for this.

Need to refer the screen at the counter for updated prices though as the booklet menu hasn't been updated! Also a bit lacking in table clearing hence wait time to be seated can be long...
