Ya Malaysia is our local Malaysian restaurant and it deserves a better ranking than what it's listed here as.
Sure, it's not the most amazing Malaysian I've had but it does the trick for a decent enough price. The chicken laksa isn't terrible and they give you a lot of chicken (too much for me but my husband happily eats the rest). The mi goreng is another go to for me and husband likes to order then Hainese chicken rice. It's nothing fancy but for those nights we don't feel like cooking, it's a good enough option.

Really good Malaysian food! We ordered the laksa and char kway teow- laksa was sensational! Char kway teow was a little bit too moist but it was still good! Service was good and very fast too! 9.5/10!

This is a rare find. We came because of the char kway teo noodles and left as devotees of the roti cannai. In fact, we ordered one serve of roti cannai quickly followed by another! The roti is the star here. So light and flaky. Not that the rendang was any less than perfect. Just the rotis are divine. We will definitely be back with more people to try out other dishes. As long as they include the roti cannai.

Awesome Malaysian food in Rhodes, I would rank their Char Kway Teow as the best in Sydney and their Chicken Laksa on par with the best as well. I always go their for my fix...truely an unexpected find especially in Rhodes.

So excited when I found a new Malaysian restaurant near me. I tried the Fried Kway Teow which was really good (there are a lot of pork fat pieces in there 😜). Went back another time and had The Egg noodle with wanton and curry chicken. Another excellent dish! My go to for my Malaysian craving now!

4.1 - Yum. The best Laksa ever! So glad I read the comments and decided to try. The broth was the perfect amount of spice vs coconuty cream taste, and the ratio of ingredients vs soup at $18.90. It was hard to find the actual shop, and once I did, I asked the staff member whether it was open as it looked deserted. Service was efficient but not warm. No atmosphere but I guess I'll come just for the food. I bumped into a lovely lady who looked as lost as I did, trying to find the place. Go left when you hit Auvers Cafe and head up the stairs. You will see it at the top!

Very pleased with what we ordered - CKT, Wat Tan Hor and chilli prawns. The noodle dishes had some wok hei; the CKT was lacking a little in spiciness but otherwise thoroughly enjoyable. Chilli prawns were great! Definitely mop up all that extra sauce with mantou or any form of carb you have at home.

Absolutely love their food! Their signature chicken is so delicious and different from any other places. They have a great range of items and everything I had so far is delicious, it is also very inexpensive. A perfect fix when you're craving something spicy!
