Fresh food made to order. Taste was good too. Staff was very friendly and kind. A Sri Lankan family.

Even though you don't mind the taste of Indian food in a remote place like this, you expect a minimum quality. This is the worst ever Indian food I tried in Australia. Really suspect whether the chicken and lamb are fresh. It was tasted like a day or two old. Rice was not cooked properly. Should not have tried Indian here. Edit (after seeing the reply): in which world you consider lamb madras as North Indian dish? And no response for whatever advice a restaurant owner has to give to the customer.

We had a bad experience unfortunately. We have been rushed to order the food and one of chef was rude when we asked them to change the seating arrangements. 2 of us didnt have dinner there as they could not arrange the table even after requested, eventually spoiled our weekend mood for 15 people. Patience is key in hospitality industry and it clearly lacked on that day. But there are no complaint about the food as everyone liked it. We would have had a very good outing if they could have shown some hospitality skills.

Really lovely guy that runs the place,he makes perfect Indian cuisine in perfectly proportional sizes. A pretty little resturant with comfortable seating. He made everything fresh, right there in front of us. He supplies authentic drinks and a good chat. He's right by the water so it's a great place to take an after dinner stroll. To top it off his prices are really affordable. I'm looking forward to going back.

Delicious food but expect a disorganised slightly haphazard evening. We're on island time down here after all! Genuinely good Indian grub done by a passionate Indian family. Well priced and they have lots of cold kingfisher beer in the fridge. What else could you want?

Good Restaurant located on way to Penguin parade Show. Serves delicious Indian cuisine. Vegetarian as well as Non Vegetarian. Good Dessert Ice cream also served as much as needed. Suitable for a group of 50 persons. Both Indoor and outdoor sitting available with Nice Scenic views. Restrooms need attention.

Worst food I ever had, not only about the taste of food but also the chicken and lamb served looks like 2 weeks old. Behaviour of owner/cook was not good, he was very rude to customers. As someone mentioned below google doesn’t allow to rate below one otherwise I would have given 0. Before you think of order food here book an appointment in hospital for safer side.

When Cowes is busy.. This is the place to come! Tasty food, good service, usually busy but never have to wait too long for the food! My faves are the lamb roganjosh and butter chicken, although the butter chicken was very spicy last time I ordered it! It needed a warning 😂😂

Friendly staff, the food is to die for. Best Indian on Phillip Island highly recommend to anyone and family friendly :)

Absolutely delicious! Went for a dinner with wifey and her parents yesterday and loved it to the core. Great food, friendly staff and one very satisfied customer. Disappointed. Bhajis burnt and lacking garnish, chicken tandoori dry, lamb rogan josh lacking in flavour, won’t go again. �

Food ok. 5 pieces of chicken for butter chicken. Chef yelled at us because we asked why our meal has taken so long (Over an hour!). Will not be back!! Our 2 boys cried as the yelling chef scared them!

We came down for a weekend from Sydney, this was one of the best meals! It was delicious! Authentic food, great flavours and super friendly service!

My husband and I had a beautiful dinner here last night. The food is authentic and flavoursome Indian food. We enjoy the food here even more than at our favourite Indian restaurant in Melbourne. We loved it last summer and will be back again this summer. It’s wise to book, especially on the weekends. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Excellent value for money as well.

Don’t order a whole Tandori Chicken theirs is 8 chicken legs that taste nothing like Tandori! When I rang up to complain I was basically responded to very abruptly with a didn’t care attitude and told that’s what I got from the market! That’s what the kitchen gave me and was told I will pass your comment to the manager. No customer service! Very disappointing attitude! Lost a good customer and removed your menu from my holiday home as I don’t want my guests subjected to your poor attitude and sub standard food

The portions were just right and the food was awesome. Would recommend this place to anyone who likes Indian food and those who want to experiment Indian food.
