Review Tran Tran Vietnamese Restaurant - Richmond

Clinton Gale
Zero curry in the Singapore noodles with carrots and green beans. And egg on top instead mixed within. I get that it a fusion dish that is different everywhere but there's a few goal posts you're meant to aim for. Tasted okay, think it was sweet soy and fish sauce. Average paper rolls but with a good serve size of dipping sauce.

Eat there regularly and the food, service and atmosphere is great. Good food, nice sized portions and quick as well. I also enjoy there lunch specials being good value and a good size.
Greg Rochlin
Music super repetitive drove me crazy. The food dish is billed as Korean style. I think they just waved a Korean flag over it. Food as ordinary as it could possibly get. The seat was nice and comfortable.
Tamara Smith
A little disappointing. Nobody wanted to serve us (3 people) and I had to actually walk up and tell someone we were ready to be served (we had been seated 10 mins and it wasn't busy) then when we ordered two dishes came out very quickly and the third, mine, did not. Again, we waited patiently before asking about my meal which had obviously been forgotten somewhere. I had Duck which came out dry and inedible, won't eat here again

This update Vietnamese Restaurant not only priced right, the quality of the food is very very good. The taste is more combination of North and South Vietnam, presentation is Morden contemporary. Good everyday Goto place for a feed.
Jeff
Nice clean restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced

Favourite on this strip. Reliable quality, great service, lots of gluten free options. 30+ years and going strong. Good for lunches. Can book large tables for groups. Very popular with AFL fans for dinner or lunch before a game. Child friendly. Spring rolls very popular. Range of dishes for all palates. Good for vegans. Nice views.

This Vietnamese joint have a lot of seats and more modern interior compared to the other restaurants on Swan street. The dishes are presented well however all of them are pretty average. Their special hot and sour noodle soup turns out to be Tom yum noodles. Would recommend if you are in a big group or carrying a pram due to ample space Food - 4 Service - 8 Vibe - 7 Price - $$

I’ve been coming to Tran Tran for over 30 years. It’s my favourite restaurant in Richmond. The owners are lovely, and the food is excellent.
Family favorite - great pho, calamari a must! Updated menu fantastic, includes notes to help decide when considering allergies and intolerances.
Sophie
The food is rather bland and it all tastes the same, the spring rolls were a bit soggy and didn’t have the nice crunch when you bite into it. Such a shame as it’s so close to home but don’t think I’ll be returning.
Jennifer
I always drive past and see how busy it is so I decided to give it a try for dinner. I came in and ordered take away as I would usually do on a busy night after work.
I got the combination crispy egg noodles. The portion was very small compared to other places down Victoria St. My meal had specifically one piece of beef, one piece of chicken, one prawn, one piece of calamari and the rest was filled with a lot of celery and carrots. Not to also mention it lacked flavour.
Had such high expectations but definitely won’t be returning
Sylvia's POV
I saw that the Zomato page mentions Pho as a top dish, but it's something I didn't see on the menu. There was a sliced beef noodle soup, which could have possibly been Pho.
The main reason I came in was for the aforementioned Pho.
The restaurant's interior is modern and the staff are pleasant.
I was directed to the lunch specials in the menu by a nice young man, in which I chose a grilled pork vermicelli with spring rolls.
Food was fast and filling.
The Wandering Reviewer
Have been coming here for years and always found it was like 'coming home' to the point that the staff recognised me and knew what I was going to order. The food is great with excellent portion sizes. Fresh and quick.
Place is now quite modern and spacious so if you are in a wheelchair, have a stroller or pram know you can navigate in quite easily.
Price point is good and with a glut of great eateries in Victoria Street, they've kept it at an affordable price
Kids welcome.Takeaway menu available. Dietaries catered for - to a point!
Wheelchair and disability friendly. Parking - well it’s just off Victoria Street - do your best as it can be challenging. Although good public transport with train and tram right on the doorstep.

One of the waiters was very polite, but another tried to overcharge us an extra serve of spring rolls. When we told him we’d only had 2 not 3, he kept arguing that we were wrong - either he had a memory lapse or was trying to purposely overcharge.

Food wise, we ordered pho, broken rice and crispy chicken noodles. The food portions were quite small and not very tasty.

Also, my friend left a poor review on Google reviews and management appears to have deleted it as well to keep their google review high.

Overall would not recommend this place.
Linda Chan
Fancy restaurant that serves small portion of artificial Veitnamese dishes. Waiter tried to overcharge us for an extra dish. Service was slow even when not busy. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese dishes- look elsewhere.

Went for a late lunch/early dinner meal, the restaurant was completely empty but then again it was a weird time. My hopes were not high at all but i was astonished... the satay chicken came out alight and it was honestly one of the best meals i have had recently, not only was the satay chicken amazing but the spring rolls we had to start were also fantastic. Such a great place to eat and although it wasn't busy the food made a massive impact... Absolutely Delicious!!!

Been to Tran Tran a few times! The best dishes on the menu are the spring rolls and sizzling Mongolian beef. Came here with a group of 7 and we ordered satay chicken skewers- chicken was tough and seemed old? Not fresh/ tasty at all. The cashew nut chicken was very average as the chicken was poached and tasted slightly undercooked? The sauce was also not very tasty. The spring rolls are always tasty but are a bit expensive- $10 for 10 so $1 each! The sizzling Mongolian beef is so tasty with a rich sauce. We order this with rice and spring rolls every time we go and have never been disappointed! Otherwise staff are attentive and friendly!

Saw the good reviews and decided to give it a try. Well it’s my first time and last time! Got spring rolls and pork vermicelli. The spring rolls were such a let down, probably worst ones I’ve had. It had no filling inside, the spring rolls were flat cause there was no filling and wasn’t even crispy. The pork in the vermicelli was soo dry that it made swallowing difficult. I can get better Viet food further down Victoria street.

Went here on a weeknight. Food and service were ok. I had high expectations as I've seen the restaurant very busy during the weekends. I'll [probably come back for a quick lunch, but rather other places down the road for a long sit down dinner.
Mark White
Atmosphere was quite good. However, the portions were on the small side and on the busy night when we visited service was slow and for took forever to come out. I'd probably look elsewhere when they are above 80% capacity.

Very sad to hear about the passing of Frank. But his nephews are doing his memory proud by continuing the tradition of fabulous food and service. I love visiting tran tran. This week we had whole flounder, salt n pepper squid and sizzling prawns. The quality is consistently great. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Good work guys! You are legends 👍🏻
Erajasminegriffin
This place has decent prices for what you get, the egg noodle soup is kinda average however and there are better soups up Victoria Street. The beef satay is nice and the service staff are very helpful, the atmosphere is very inviting and nice.
Saurabh Hasija
Well this place was recommended by a colleague/friend. We had few team lunches here but end up having most of my office lunches at this place. Great customer service and good Vietnamese food make me come back here all the time. Try 333 Vietnamese beer.. 🍻 🍲
Lisa Giles
Really enjoyable dinner with a large group of friends. The staff were friendly, and we were able to BYO wines. We ordered a selection of dishes, and everything was very tasty...especially the Mongolian beef and the pork and spring rolls with vermicelli. Highlight was the birthday cake that was brought out for my friend, got some funny photos with it. Defs worth checking out for reasonably priced food, BYO and good for big groups.
Basil Ilia
service was good, ambience is good as well, but the food is way below the standard expected at victoria street - portions are fairly small, pho is tasteless etc; i certainly won't be back
Burgers Of Melbourne
Yum. Hitting Victoria Street for some quality Vietnamese, Tran Tran is definitely a good choice. Great food, great service. After 10 visits, yeah I'll be back for more!
ToFeedTwo
A simple, good and fresh Viet/Chinese option when you're on the go. ToFeedTwo didn't have a whole lot of time on this visit & were in and out within the hour at Tran Tran! A varied menu which caters to all tastes & preferences...

The food is very fresh, somewhat flavoursome but nothing too special - we left feeling content but not overly full. Chicken Rice Paper Rolls (entree) are made fresh to order as the chicken was hot, and the mains (chicken rice vermicelli/chicken & vegetable stir-fry with fried rice noodles) were solid but lacked oomph.

Friday 25.08.17 at 8pm.
Tasty dinner.
Friendly staff and good service.
Very prompt service.
We had the noodles with wontons and BBQ pork, the beef with Chinese broccoli & the combination omelette. - all very flavoursome dishes.
A very good option on Victoria St.
Sunshine Alcayra Maranon
We went there for dinner for the first time last night. We were a group of 8. Were pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant serving good & yummy food at reasonable prices; the dining area & toilets are clean ; and the staff are friendly, helpful & attentive. Will definitely comeback and happy to recommend this resto to others.
Pamela McIlwraith
Went here for my birthday dinner last night and had such a good time!

The service was attentive, the meals delicious, good value and my birthday cake was the highlight👌😊

Will be back for sure!
Tran Tran was average. There are much better restaurants along Victoria Street.
We ate prawns with snow peas, beef with Chinese broccoli, chicken with cashews and a sizzling beef dish.. the dishes were very boring and there wasn't much flavour in the prawn and chicken dishes especially.

We wouldn't go here again because of the flavour-less food and also the service was average too.. it wasn't busy but it was hard to get drinks and order food. A great looking restaurant but you should definitely go elsewhere

First time at Tran Tran and it won't be the last. Airy, clean, modern and thoroughly enjoyable. We arrived at 5.30 pm as we had a concert to attend so the place was virtually empty apart from us and 2 other tables. As we were leaving it had started to fill up so I imagine it would have a great vibe when full and really pumping. Waiting staff were great and I could see they enjoyed their time whilst at work which is a pleasant change from some places we've been to.
The food was very fresh and vibrant with the salt and pepper squid possibly one of the best I've had. Wines by the glass were commendably fairly priced.
We will definitely attend again and try out more dishes.
Andrew Schachter
Really great consistent food as it was our second time here and great atmosphere.
Wasn't too noisy and the staff are so attentive.
We are definitely going again.

Four of us dined at this restaurant yesterday and were disappointed. The staff member who waited on our table was rude and didnt seem to want to be there. We ordered Beef in vine leaves and spring rolls for entree...the spring rolls were very brown suggesting old oil... the vine leaves were average. We then ordered satay beef which was the best dish of the day. The singapore noodle dish had nothing in it but carrot and a few pieces of onion very dry and tasteless. we also ordered a pork and prawn salad which was all cucumber and mint.... Will not return to this restaurant again..

Our favourite spot on Victoria street! My husband and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner here and the service was PERFECT! Please order the Banana ice cream sparkler desert and have a sense of humour to enjoy it ;)
Christina
Great food and service was fantastic. Atmosphere was really nice and staff were friendly and accomodating. Keen to try some other dishes next time when I'm back.
David
I started eating here before a night out and 20 years later tran trans is a favorite with my family. Must have been here at least 100 times and it is still a favorite. Loch and his family make us feel so welcome every time we walk in the door. Great food at a great price, we cant get enough.
Peter Evans
For Victoria street tran tran is a bit of a stand out. It's large, has an open clean feeling about it. Staff were welcoming and food constantly good. Food can come out all together and fast which is a bit overwhelming , it's important to tell your waiter/ waitress to bring out individually but overall really good.
Zowie Crump
Great food, fantastic staff!!! Everything was fresh and very reasonably priced. I will be returning :) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Branko
Tran Tran has great food (we've liked everything we have had here so far) at reasonable prices and good service, and it has been consistently so......A little over a year later and prices have gone up but dishes are getting smaller. Prawn spring rolls are smaller than ever but you still get 10 for $10 which is not too bad. Very nice and friendly service.
Russell Knight
Great yummy food- very good value! The staff/owner's family were very warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place even if you are not an aficionado of Vietnamese cuisine- way to go "Tran Team"!
George
The place looks nice, it's open and clean. The service was great, very quick with the meals and friendly. One waitress nearly had a breakdown when we showed up with a pram but we were able to show her that customers and babies can coexist in harmony by moving a chair. The spring rolls were great and so was the beef noodle soup which was not Phô apparently because the broth was chicken based rather than beef based (the more you know!) The Singapore noodle wasn't great though. Very bland, missing the curry powder or whatever that magic is that makes it usually awesome. The prices are fantastic though. Said noodles were $9, as were the other two dishes mentioned. A pot of jasmine tea set me back $2 and they filled the pot again without extra charge. Keep an eye out for a "birthday banana" - rated M.

Excellent and efficient service. Delicious food! Highly recommend this place. One of the only places on Victoria st in Richmond with good customer service! Very impressed.
Keith Lawrence
Faced with a plethora of Vietnamese options on Victoria St, it can be easy to make the wrong choice and end up with bad, msg-drowned mains etc.

Tran Tran is consistent - good without being overexciting. The food is fresh, the staff efficient and friendly, the decor clean and contemporary. Good value for money and a safe bet for returns.
Bob's Bites
Consistently great food. Excellent service. Great with our whole family. Highly recommend this for a great experience.
The staff are s great asset.
Francesca
I have been coming to this restaurant for quite a few years now. I love the food snd the owners are great friendly people. The quail is one of my favorites. The sslt & pepper was but lately hasnt been that good.
Kriskiel
Dissapointing. Quick stop for lunch today and was surprised at how empty tran tran was. Ordered lemon chicken, satay beef and Singapore noodles. Everything arrived far too quick for it to feel right. Less than 5 minutes and an underwhelming poor quality warm lemon chicken arrived. Everything seemed like it was heated up and not the usual high quality we've always had years past. With all the restaurants close by we'll not visit again.

Tran Tran is one of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants in Melbourne. It is Vietnamese food at its best: light and healthy. The greens are so fresh that I expect them to walk off my plate. The whole flounder steamed with ginger and onion is a real treat. You will leave feeling full but not heavy.
IsyBitsy
The thing with Tran Tran is that it's different from all the other Vietnamese restaurants lined up on Voctria Street, they all serve pretty much the same food, the service is quite bland (actually the service is quite shocking, after they left us with the

Consistently good. This place has fantastic, friendly service and well priced standard dishes which reflect the key flavours of Vietnam. It's easy to become a regular customer.

Amazing!!!. Amazing service. Had the vermeccelli it was great & refreshing.
Will definitely be back!

Fabulous. Tran Tran is my favourite family restaurant the service is quick, the staff are incredibly friendly and the food is amazing. May I add the acoustics are brilliant. Next time you go the deep fried ice cream is a must have! I recommend this restaurant to all!
Trish.marturano
Very friendly staff, fantastic owner!!. Have been to Tran Tran on and off over the last 7 years. I have never had a bad meal.
It is reasonably priced & the food is flavorsome & fantastic. Love it and will keep going back again & again :)
Not the mention how friendly & welcoming the staff & owner are, so lovely! Keep it up Tran Tran.....
Quickhands1
Save time don't go there. Have not been to Tran Tran for a while and certainly won't ever go back again.
For entree we had rice paper rolls, they had no flavor except mint. Then stuffed chicken wings which just tasted like a dim sim. Sauces for both were shocking.
Mains were no better Peking sauce was over sweet and could not get through the meal.
Satay was good but that was about it. Service very fast, almost too quick so you wonder how much is fresh and how much is pre prepared.
All I can say is think twice before going there!!
Lulu Mama
We went there for some drinks around 7pm after having an early dinner somewhere else.
Upon paying, we were reprimanded for not ordering food. The older waiter (maybe the owner) told us not to come back. We were in utter awe!! How disgraceful for a so nicely done-up place to have such a degrading service!

The Best in Richmond. Been coming to tran tran for over 20 years. The best satay you will ever get. Always fresh and always friend staff.. Prices are fantastic and hardly increased over the years. If father's day or mothers days, suggest to book In advance.
Keep up the good work...
Two Sheds
Very nice little restaurant. Had the mixed seafood dish and a pork dish, with rice on the side. The food was very nice and reasonably priced. The service was efficient and cheerful too. Really liked it. Full marks from me.

The Best Vietnamese in Victoria Street.. I moved to Richmond about a year ago now, and I have been venturing over to Victoria Street for my weekly Vietnamese Cuisine desires. After having visited a large number of these restaurants, none of them stood out to me as being overly clean or having much variation in their menu's. However, although almost at the end of the run of restaurants along Victoria Street, there sits the lovely Tran Tran. The first thing I noticed about Tran Tran, was the high pitched roof, which does wonders in keeping the noise level down. In addition to this, Tran Tran have kept the essential dishes which consumers have come to expect in Vietnamese cuisine, but have also implemented their own twist on many of the meals. For example the spectacular 'Tran Tran Chicken' is presented under burning foil and is opened up by the waiter in front of you to reveal the delicious meal. This restaurant surpasses the competition in terms of food, price, cleanliness and service.
G.sambo
Sambo. I think the people writing negative comments about TRAN TRAN must be local competitive shop owners!!
This place is fantastic!!!!!!
I have been going there for 5 years with friends, family work colleagues and can`t fault it.
Great FRESH TASTY FOOD, friendly staff, always make you welcome, they love kids, I have taken my 4 grandsons there with family many times. Go and try it, you will be pleasantly surprised.
KPoll
Absolutely terrible! We were refused entry because we had 2 babies in prams even when the restaurant was only a third full. 5 people who hasn't made a booking walked in and were given a table straight after us. The owner was rude and aggressive when my husband confronted him. They discriminate against families. Do your self a favour and don't go here.
NDJ
Vermicelli noodles lacked ingredients and taste, our stir fry beef used poor quality meat and the venue was a mismatched ambience for the Victoria st vibe. Better options on Victoria street.
Moof
Worst "vietnamese" Melb. I rarely write such a scathing review, but this is justified. The food was non descript, lacking in flavour and so far from being Vietnamese its laughable. Its was just horribly westernised chinese ......dare I say it muck! Just as an example the salads had cabbage, carrot and heaps of deep fried shallots but no chilli, no onion and so little of the mint, no sprouts, cucumber or coriander and fantastic nouc mam cham dressing was non existent and even when I requested more they just ignored me!
Service was appalling so such a rip off, no redeeming features. Go to Footscray or other places and get some real Vietnamese
Ben.carlton
Great food reasonably priced quick service. What more could you ask for
Denice
Love this place ... Best satay!
Jemma
Love the satay!. Really enjoy Tran Tran each time I go. I just can't go passed the satay vegetables... The sauce has real bite to it, so delicious. Service is very quick (often feels like they're trying to get you out ASAP) and decor is lovely and modern. I'm definitely a return customer!
Leeanne
Love it. I always love coming to this place. Its one of my favourites I will always keep coming back.
Shelley
Don't go there. We were enticed by the decor, but what a mistake. Rice paper rolls were stone cold and not fresh. Spring rolls ok. Chicken satay skewers were poor quality meat. Tran Tran marinated chicken camels out with dazzling flames but tasted like butane, and was mainly onions and celery. Beef with snow peas had no detectable flavor says my friend, and was disappointing. My mix veg, tofu rice noodles was what you'd expect from a 'braised' Chinese meal, but this is Vietnamese! Tofu was good. Overall, this was really not the best meal and we were hoping for a light, flavorful, fresh tasty experience and instead got stodge. Good price but nothing else.
Diner
Leaves a lot to be desired.. The quality of the food here was definitely better before it was refurnished. Now quality and quantity have decreased but prices have increases. Watch out with "pre-booking" as it means nothing on the day. Our daughter booked four days in advance but on arrival was told that there was "no booking". Eventually offered a tiny table near the toilets but they declined and left. (I don't think they approved of the pram). Their loss as our daughter no longer goes, nor do we, despite having been regulars.
Daryl Marson
Been here many many times & it never fails to satisfy. Quality food at good a good price. Byo is a bonus too! Top of the evening with the 'special' banana desert. Love it!
Waughsl83
Cheap and delish. This place seems a bit fancier than most on Victoria St, but the food is much the same. Loved the beef vine leaves and salt and pepper squid.
Natalie
Long time customer!. I have been going to tran tran for the past 20 years and celebrated every single birthday eating there. The service is great, so quick and friendly. The food may be a little westernised but it's still yum. Try the honey chicken, or the lemon chicken in the honey chickens basket, oh and the letticue cup is amazing. They are very helpful for food allergies and can speak English!
Tran Trans is a must try!!
JZess
I've been going to tran tran for 15 years. A great family run business with incredible food. The vegetable spring rolls are an all time favourite along with the combination noodle soup, Singapore noodles and coleslaw chicken.
Happy Eater
Yum!!!!. Been here lots of times and it has never failed me. Service is great, staff are always friendly and always make an effort to provide great service. Food ia equally great. Rice paper rolls are the best I have had, fresh and tasty... All dishes I have tried have been yummy....
David Lescai
Recommended. With it's friendly service, simple stylish decore, this is one of the best resturants on Bridge Road. Mains are reasonably priced and ideal for sharing. Starters are excellent.
If you're a fan of fire, you're going to love this place.
And if it's your birthday, you're in for a pleasant surprise :)
C Cooper
Bland and boring. Plus, "crispy" menu items were soggy. D minus
Janice Boynes
Although one of the better furnished and decorated places on Victoria St, you can definately find places with better quality of food and more authentic
Daniel Matthews
Awesome food and service. I've been going there even before the new makeover to the interior happened and the food was and still is great! And not to mention cheap!
Mich G
Lovely food each time we've been. Must say though, the San Choy Bow (on the menu as "lettuce bun") was quite unusual. Friendly service and warm atmosphere.
Ant W
Great food (particularly the soup) ad great service and value, awesome little restaurant. Thanks
CBass
Great atmosphere. Liked the decor and big open space. The food was really disappointing though. The beef in vine leaves were great with good flavor, but otherwise everything else lacked depth. Chicken with Chilli and lemongrass was really bland, looked unappealing and you could only taste Chilli... The sizzling beef with Peking sauce was nice, but again pretty ordinary compared to other Vietnamese restaurants on Vic street. Service was great and friendly, but food a major let down.
Nick
Tran Tran is my favorite restaurant and I have been eating at Tran Tran for over 10 years now. Food is great, great atmosphere and the staff are always friendly. You must try the Satay Beef, best Satay in Melbourne!
Hannah Chard
Amazing - everything on the menu is delish!! Highly reccommend the salt and pepper squid
Michael
I'm an Aussie and I've been coming here since it first opened. I've always found the food to be very nice. It's clean, efficient, great prices and I always come back.
Celebrity Trainer
Nice and clean. Although Tran Tran isn't one of the most traditional Vietnamese places on Victoria st the food is always fresh and staff are professional and a lot nicer restaurant than most, always leave happy and satisfied...
Thomas
Vietnamese for westerners. the Pho was bland and tasteless. service was good though.
Guy Stevens
Cheerful, Tasty and Cheap. As the title says - its quick, tasty, fresh and cheap. I've been coming here for about 10 years and although the interior has changed to make it a little more up-scale, the food and service haven't. It's still that warm family run atmostphere with quick cheerful service and fresh tasty fare - what more could anyone ask for?
Sarah
Consistently good! I have been eating at tran tran for about 7 years & have never ever been let down. the pho is the absolute best in melbourne!
Justin Field
Pho. Go get some pho, that's all you need to know. :)
Charlotte
One of my favorite restaurants in Melbourne, you must have the tran tran chicken or the tran tran pork nothing else compares!
Marc
Not bad, but could be better. Had early dinner with the family, and everybody liked it. But... The Soups were thin and a bit bland and the Chicken Omelette should havw had some more Chicken in it.
Mrdaniyyel
Crappest Food Around. I am an Asian, and have eaten in many Asian places around town. Tran Tran by far was the worst I've been to. I just happened to stop by with my friends.

I had Egg Noodles with Seafood. The soup was like water - no taste at all. They were stingy with the seafood too.

My friend ordered Lemon Sauce Chicken and it wasn't even real chicken fillet! It was meatloaf that was supposed to taste like chicken.

Sweet and Sour Pork? Do they even know how to cut the pork? The pork was chewy and had too much batter. The sauce was again tasteless.

We were the only Asians there. I guess this place is good to go to if you don't know much about Asian food. Don't judge a restaurant by its interior design!
Simon
Pretty basic. We have been here quite a few times before they 'modernised' their decor and the last couple of times with friends. Unfortunately the authentic component seems to be missing and no longer worth the visit. There are so many other options better than TT.

-----24 Apr, 2010-----

Cheap eat. Have been here severel times and have found the staff friendly and warm. The food is simple and filling but not always the same which can be a little disappointing - eg the crispy quail is not always as crispy. But hey, we come here for a price and leave satisfied and return!!
Jonz
Best place on Vic Street. Fastest service and awesome quality food. Try the tran tran marinated chicken.
MatC
Great Food. I've been coming here for about 10 years and this is one of the few places on Victoria street that has been consistently good over all this time as far as keeping up the excellent quality of the food. The service here is fast and friendly too.
Mark Macdonald
Brand new look and fit out. Looks amazing. Unfortunately, very average food that's well below Vic street standards. To speed things up they seem to be pre cooking all the food days prior, chicken entrée barely resembled chicken. Go else where until they go back to what makes Vietnamese food great, fresh quality produce and amazing flavours.
Greedy Diva
Cheap, cheerful and fresh Vietnamese fare can be found at almost any of the bustling restaurants lining this gritty inner surburban strip. Don't come for silver service, and don't order the birthday cake for your grandma - it comes in the form of a fried
