I visited this place with some of my childhood friends yesterday. Indeed it was a nostalgia of home-cooked food for all of us. A place worth a special visit in Richmond. Well crafted menu, delightful service, ambient venue and delicious meal will not only satisfy your taste buds but will also fulfil your appetite. A must try Cheese-naan, dal makhani and Vadapao.

Chef Prathamesh, has tastefully married tradition and presentation together to tease the tastebuds and this will leave you asking for more for sure!! It’s a gastronomic treat for any food lover without a doubt, so if you are in Richmond it is ‘the’ place to be in and if not then make a trip...it will be worth it! The mood and food here is just Marvellous and my vote for 3 Idiots is 5 Stars!

A fun vibrant Indian restaurant with a great soundtrack serving well flavourful dishes with immaculate presentation. There was plenty to get excited by at our recent visit to 3 Idiots... which had certainly been on the radar for some time.

A good selection of wine by the glass and a smooth Pinot Nior preceded our food order. The white pepper tikka chicken entree came with its own smoke filled cloche theatrics. The samosas were a dream and the greenish croquettes flavoursome and too spicy for some at the table.

We had the unapologetically mandatory butter chicken, this one smooth and subtle with spice but with a generous amount of chicken. The remaining curries we ordered were vegetarian with a mild pumpkin korma being the favourite of the group. I much preferred the black dal though so managed to take the leftovers if this home.

For dessert I opted for the traditional over the flamboyant with some comforting gulab jamum dumplings and syrup. At the other end of the table further theatrics went down with a Bombay brownie served on a sizzling skillet with plenty of ompaah.

Overall service was attentive and friendly. We were started down the path of over ordering perhaps just a little and could have done with one less curry on the table and perhaps one less entree as well. Still we took the leftovers home.

We visited 3 Idiots for dinner with friends tonight and loved the energetic Indian music playing and beautifully presented food. You do pay a premium for the plating relative to other Indian restaurants but the dishes are certainly high quality. I wasn’t hugely fond of the vegetarian curries we had but the butter chicken was delicious as were the breads. I thoroughly enjoyed the entrees also, the samosa chaat and peppercorn chicken tikka. Lovely bold flavours although you do unfortunately loose the generosity of sauce when it’s artfully drizzled on the plate largely for aesthetic purposes. We couldn’t go past the Bombay brownie for dessert which arrived on a sizzling hot plate (which burnt my hand but obviously that was my fault), there was plenty of theatre with this dish (as with our chicken entree that arrived under a smoky cloche) but I actually found the predominant taste of the brownie was charcoal so something didn’t quite work there. Overall extremely attentive service and a wonderful experience

I totally and completely recommend this place 100%
Don't think twice just go for it!!!
I never write reviews but after the food I've had I couldn't help myself.
The food was fantastic, the music was peppy, the staff was excellent and the owners were fabulous.
While I don't quite recall the name of the dishes I can describe them since the flavors were so distinct.
So for starters we had something like Pepper Chicken which were so deliciously tender. We then had some kebabs which went perfectly with our beer. Since we also have vegetarians in our family they had a fantastic array of food we could order from, so we got some samosas and paneer croquettes which were so scrumptiously mouth watering that just thinking about it makes me want to go back there to be honest.
For the main course we had some aromatic flavored rice with prawn curry which was heavenly since I love a coconut based curry. We also had some Naan with butter chicken and believe me when I say I've had a lot of butter chicken but this is by far the best I've had in a very long time, it was lip smacking, no wonder it's a chef's special.
For the vegetarians, we got some palak paneer which is spinach with cottage cheese, and while I'm a hard-core meat lover this dish has always been my favorite and the chef hit home. We also got some baingan bharata which is an aubergine dominated dish, to be honest I'm not a big fan of aubergine unless by mother fries it and now if I get it from 3 idiots because it went perfectly with the Naan. In fact I took a second helping as well, and the expression on my mothers face was something to behold.
By now if you are still reading this you know that I'm a complete foodie and the perfect way for me to unite this ensemble was with some desert.
And so we got the Basundi panacotta and the Kasata, and my God the panacotta has got to be my favorite dessert. As a child Basundi was my favorite dessert however in India it's consistency is like condensed milk, to see this time honoured dish improvised as a panacotta with mango pearls bursting in my mouth was a surreal experience. My eyes were wide the entire time while having this dish because it was so fascinating and completely nostalgic. My mother on the other hand loved the Kasata, she couldn't get enough of it, and the strawberry pearls served with the Kasata is something I couldn't get over.
Our bellies were so satisfied that our pant buttons were on the verge of popping. We sat there with happy satisfied smiles after our feast, and we couldn't help but call for the chef. We had the opportunity to meet both the chef and his wife and I have to say that they are in every bit amazing and compliment each other perfectly. The chef was so humble and his wife who runs the place, is bubbly and so easy to talk to. They seem to balance each other out and were constantly giving each other credit, it was so great to see this dynamic as well. After a great long conversation we finally got going. The entire car ride we discussed the food and the day after as well. So if you're in the mood for some Indian flavors go check out this place, they have some great vegan options as well, and if you want an ice breaker with the owners just ask them about how they went about naming the place 3 idiots.

For all the Melbournians looking out for some lip smacking Indian food, 3 idiots is definitely the right place to send your taste buds for a ride.

They have a small cozy set up with excellent service and friendly staff.

We have been here twice for their Sunday brunch menu and have been surprised by their dishes with a perfect blend of Indian spices carefully curated by their chef.

From their Vada pav to scrambled eggs, the Misal pav to paratha and Dal makhani, everything is simply droolworthy.

A special mention about Satnam for her amicable approach and Suraj for that amazingly brewed filter coffee. Thank you so much to all you we do not miss home anymore!

Will definitely visit again to try their other dishes and desserts.

As a big fan of spicy food, Indian cuisine is definitely a favourite, and 3 Idiots in Richmond is a fantastic place to enjoy this traditional food. It's only a small venue, but the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, with modern decor and fabulous service. It's very popular here, so it's a good idea to book; and it was a full house when we dined here. The bustling ambience made it even more enjoyable.

There is a good drinks list, with some fun cocktails, delicious wines and beer. While enjoying our drinks, we ordered samosas, pea croquettes, a goat curry, pumpkin curry, panak paneer and naan.

The samosas had the perfect texture. Crispy exterior with an amazing spicy vegetable filling. They really were delicious. The croquettes were also divine, and made for a perfect starter. All the curries are fabulous, with loads of heat and spice, tender meat and fresh vegetables. They taste really authentic, and the sauces are just a punch of flavour with every mouthful. Panak paneer is a family favourite, and the dish here is up there with the best. The naan too is fantastic, with loads of garlic butter.

For a truly memorable Indian feast, you can't go past 3 Idiots. It's delicious food, fun atmosphere and friendly service makes it the kind of restaurant that you return to time and time again.

We have been wanting to try out 3 Idiots from the day they opened for business, and finally were able to make it to brunch today! What a wonderful and enjoyable experience we had🎉 From the time we stepped foot into this cute place, to the welcoming smile by all staff, to ordering food with the help of gorgeous and chirpy Sat, to the authentic South Indian ‘kapi’ by Kaapi Project before digging into the mouth watering Bombay Street food delicacies skilfully crafted by Chef Prat, to drooling unique desserts and finishing off with yet another typical Indian drink of Iced ‘kapi’...it was one of the best restaurant experiences in totality👌👌👌 The top food quality along with the innovative food presentation - it was all topped off by the genuine and warm hospitality by all staff. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!! Can’t wait to visit again for dinner soon😇👍

I don’t give many 5 stars, but this restaurant deserves it. Trendy decor, good cutlery, beautiful stoneware plates & bowls, nice thin glasses, attentive service, spotless restroom. Then the delicious food, so beautifully presented, see photos. We ordered the bruschetta papadums, samosa chaat & tikka pepper chicken for entrees, followed by Goan Beef curry, garlic naan (tip: order two, they are quite small & simply delicious) & boiled rice. I can’t name a stand out dish, as everything was amazing. It was a Thursday night, and very early, so-not busy so we had no trouble getting a table, but suspect weekends will be busy so recommend booking. It was filling up as we left. We will certainly be back to work our way through the entire menu. They also do brunches on Sundays, can’t wait to try this! The meal with 2 beers & a bottle of Prosecco was $143. Pricy, but worth it.

We have been a few times and hands down this is the best Indian food we have ever had.  Saturday night we had two items from the Sharing menu, Pepper Chicken, served under a glass dome that is taken off to reveal steaming fragrant chicken and Greenish Croquette, very filling, tasty and delicious. We moved onto sharing a main, Yellow Dal and Basmati Rice, lots of spice and flavour.   Everything is fresh and presentation is superb.  The restaurant is spotless, the staff/owners very friendly.  Also worth noting wines by the glass are excellent.

I was craving for kheema pav for such a long time. It’s on their Sunday brunch menu and boy it was lip smacking. Totally authentic! We also had Misal pav. The best part is that the spices have not been toned down. It is SPICY!! We loved it. For dessert we had the Casatta, which was a bit of letdown but who cares. They also have the dinner menu items at Sunday brunch. Will be going back!

Things that call out home to you... That take you to the streets of your childhood, not just that but when the people you meet also turn out to be homies from your hood, then you know it is truly special... today was super special as I had a super special brunch, one of its kind... The MUMBAI BRUNCH ... at @3idiotsrichmond ...
🍞
What's MUMBAI BRUNCH?
Finger Lickin Indian street food, with freshly baked Indian PAO ( bread roll ) And the various avatars it comes with... the meal we had, is typically had with PAO that represents the humble meal that every common man has after a hard day's work in India... a meal thats economical, filling and soul satisfying.
🍞
If you are ever in Mumbai.. these are some of the many amazing things you've got to have.. otherwise did you really even go to Mumbai?
🍞
So we had: 🍬
🍞PAO BHAJI : Bread roll with spicy mashed potato n veg, topped with burrata cheese. This is my go to comfort food, traditionally enjoyed with dollops of butter.
🍬
🍞VADA PAO: Indian Burger : Potato filled burger party dipped in gram flour that's deep fried and stacked between the PAO and spicy chutney on the side. This one is super garlicky in taste.
🍬
🍞MISAL PAO: Lentil soup, tangy chutneys, fried bhuja for topping and roasted peanuts... dip your PAO in this goodness of a soup and enjoy the crunchy bhuja in every bite. This is the most guiltfree street food you will ever have.
🍬
🍞KHEEMA PAO : This essentially is an Indian Chilli Con Carne ... PAOlicious to the core.
🍬
🍞BHURJI PAO : Next Level Scrambled eggs but with Indian spices and heaps of green chilly... have it with Pao to escape the spiciness... seriously guys BHURJI PAO , this one's a must try. 🍬
🍞
And to top it all, my fav @ozkaapi was also around.. so we enjoyed our Indian Brunch with a cuppa and the theatrix long pour of the Indian filter Coffee...pure goodness I say.

Thanks a PAO illion @3idiotsrichmond.. for this PAOtastic meal..

Love the food and ambience! Very authentic Maharashtrian food 😍🌶 absolutely loved the kheema pav! The meat was spicy and tender! The misal pav could be a little improved with little thinner consistency with spicy oil. Maybe add more authentic dishes like puran poli or ukdiche modak or pohe. All in all, lovely place! Will come more often 😊

Went to 3idiots on Friday night for dinner, its a very popular place and needs a advance booking.
Tried chicken tikka, calamari, fish tikka for starters. Chicken tikka was pick of the starters, Fish tikka and Calamari were also well prepared.

For our main course we went for palak paneer, goan beef and prawn fish curry. All the dishes of main course were really amazing and spice levels were well balanced.

We ordered garlic chilli naan(one naan serves one), rice and few rotis.

Overall a good place, one could find it little pricey and prefer public transport to reach :)

Overall score: 18/25 or ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
in 5 words: great indian feast in Richmond
*
Recommended dishes: greenish croquette, water ballon bursters, butter chicken, garlic naan, macchi curry.

Review The water balloon bursters is essentially Pani puri (Indian snack) - the bursting effect was exciting and unleashed a lot of flavour. The cottage cheese mixed with peas in the croquette was so good that we ordered two. Butter chicken was creamy and not too spicy - perfect dipping sauce for the naan. Chicken was perfectly cooked. Always request for dishes to be more spicy if that’s your preference.

I would have preferred a more charred naan, and it was a bit more chewy than the ones I’ve tried back in Asia. Still delicious though. Standard pricing - it would be about $30-40pp if you ordered like us but you would leave satisfied.

The owner of the place was really friendly and willing to adjust portions. Presentation-wise, Indian food tends to be ugly but delicious. 3 idiots managed to debunk that stereotype by creating visually beautiful indian dishes.

My only gripe about this place was that my clothes and coat smelt of smoke after my dinner here! All worth it for a good meal though - I would definitely revisit!

The brunch at 3idiotsrichmond was such an amazing experience.
- The Misal Pav was my favourite of the lot, I could eat it all day.
- The Vadapav was amazing but I a little less tamarind and more spice would have been nice. There's so much Mumbai in this food!!!

The filter kaapi by @thekaapiproject was really interesting.

I do think overall this place is pretty expensive for the food we ate and the chutneys could be better.

Recommended by a chef, we decided to venture 3 idiots in Richmond. Upon reaching, realised that Zomato booking hadn’t quite worked. The staff was graceful to accomodate us in the superbusy hours- big thank you for the warm welcome.3/5

Wine list is basic and BYO is not permitted which was little disappointing- since we were carrying a vintage wine for the evening that we were not allowed to open and options available were very limited.1/5

Tried the Hara bhara kebab- this vegetarian dish is a fine art- most places spoil it by making too oily or just baking it which doesn’t give the flavour. At 3 idiots, this kebab is extraordinarily made- the beetroot sauce and accompaniment is delicious. 4/5

Calamari 65 was good- it was presented well however the “ hummus” type accompaniment did not quite contrast the fried calamari. 3/5

Peshawari lamb was good- meat was juicy and well cooked- sauce had distinct flavour of cashew base, cream, raisins, rose petals. Slight “ lamb aroma” at meat. Serve size is very conservative 3/5
Naan was neatly done with kalonji sprinkle- again serve size is conservative. 3/5. Did not hve apetite for dessert- but plan to hve the pancotta , paan on next visit.

Service is extraordinary quick and staff is very courteous 4/5. Overall a pleasing experience .

Visited this place a couple of times with friends for brunch as well as for lunch. Open, bright and warm ambience. Surely fulfills their tagline 'Melbourne in Mind, Mumbai on the plate' . Their menu is short which makes it fascinating - inspired by mumbai street food and modern twist to Indian food. What I loved the most is the flavours and top notch presentation.

“Wafer Balloon Busters” – their take on the Pani Puri. Simply fill the crunchy stuffed wafer spheres with spicy tangy herb infused water and enjoy a flavour explosion.

The Classic Samosa Chaat was similarly delicious. We loved the beautiful golden pastry triangles encasing a tangy potato mix, topped with chick pea salsa, herbed yoghurt, tamarind chutney and fresh coriander pesto.

The Calamari 65 was one of our favourite dishes of the night. A twist on the original chicken 65, spicy masala battered calamari is served with a fennel salad and coconut and mangosteen foam. Just yum!

For something heartier and perfect for the winter cold, the curries are a must. Think luxurious Fish Curry featuring pan seared fillets of barramundi in a home-style tomato, coconut, green chilli and tamarind base. If you prefer a meat curry then do not go past the Peshawari Lamb, which is a scrumptious version of the classic Lamb Korma. Tender Yarra Valley lamb pieces are finished in a cashew, tomato and onion base curry infused with selected whole spices and herbs.

Our visit concluded on a sweet high with a duo of desserts - both beautifully made. The Indian inspired cassata was delicious. Soaked lemon sponge intertwined with almond, Tutti Frutti ice-cream and topped with strawberry pearls. The Bombay Brownie concluded our evening on a sweet high. Theatrically presented, sizzling on a hot skillet, warm chocolate brownie was topped with Belgian chocolate sauce, vanilla ice cream and crispy Indian shortbread.

Will come back for:
+ Mango Lassi
+ Wafer Balloon Buster
+ Samosa chaad
+ Tawa Prawn
+ Kashmiri Naan
+ Butter Chicken
+ Panacotta

Despite the name, these guys are no idiots when it comes to cooking tasty and delicious Indian food. The flavours are true, and they even manage to heighten the textural element of their dishes up a notch. For example, the mango pearls with the lassi was inspired as it works. Everything that was added to the dishes made sense. Love the wafer balloon also as a bit of a treat and certainly a bit of fun. The naans were also tasty, soft and moorish. We had the beef curry and that could have had a bit more heat (that’s just a personal preference), but the taste and spices danced on the palette. The panacotta was a great way to round off the meal. Service was friendly, warm and efficient. Prices are above average but worth it. The lady looking after the front of house really knows how to look after their guests. You just feel like you’ve been fed at some friends home. Nothing was too much trouble. I could see myself being a regular of this place.

This is a small cozy place in Richmond.
The ratings for the dishes would be
1) Chicken tikka (3/5)
2) Samosa chat (5/5)
3) Filter coffee (4/5)
4) Vada pao (4/5)
5) Gulab Jamun (2/5)
The chicken tikka was soft and cooked perfectly but it lacked flavours. Samosa chat and filter coffee was almost perfect. Vada Pao was alright too. The only thing not of taste was the gulab jamun. It was hard and chewy , the presentation though was perfect. Loved the idea of candy floss presented alongside. It’s bit expensive on the price side but the presentation of the dishes totally make it worth it. Could surely do better with the interior and entertainment factor. Some light music might surely help.

3 Idiots is located on Bridge Road in Richmond. On the weekends they offer an Indian street style brunch & we were invited to try it. I’m a big fan of Indian food so was excited to try a different brunch.

We started with a chai & an Indian iced kaapi coffee which were both delicious. Our lovely host helped us navigate our way through the menu as it was obviously very different to our usual brunches.

We settled on the vegan Misal Pao (Messied curried beans) which was a spicy & tasty mix of beans cooked with air dried coconut masala topped with an Indian bhuja mix. Also served with soft, fluffy pao (bread rolls) it such a unique brunch dish & we absolutely loved it. It was also served with a jug of spicy sauce so you could adjust the level of spice to your taste.

The Batata Burrata was a twist on Mumbai’s hawker style Pao Bahji & included a spicy blend of smashed potatoes & vegetables topped with burrata & served with Pao rolls. It was full of flavour & spice which was balanced so well with the creamy burrata cheese & the soft & warm Pao rolls.

For dessert we tried the Bombay Brownie which was served on a sizzling plate which made for great theatrics as the Belgian chocolate sauce was poured over the top. The rich & gooey brownie was divine & topped with a crispy Indian shortbread & ice cream. Highly recommended trying this dish.

We also tried the Eliachi Pannacotta which was a light & creamy cardamom pannacotta served with bursting mango pearls. A light & delicious dish which was the perfect ending to our brunch.

The staff at 3 idiots were so friendly & it was such a pleasure to be treated to such a unique brunch experience with no smashed avo in sight. Some delicious dishes including plenty of vegan & vegetarian options, this is a must try if you’re looking for something a bit different for your weekend brunch. Thanks so much for having us.

Pretty good venue serving up some amazing contemporary Indian food. We started with pani puri and greenish croquets and I loved the croquets; pani puri not so much. Mains were palak paneer, dal makhani and burrata ; all dishes well presented and flavoursome. Breads and rice on point. Desserts were the bomb esp the brownie yeah I know what is a brownie doing on an Indian restaurant menu but I thought it was super yummy and deserved a spot on the menu ! Impressed. This place has nailed contemporary Indian. Both entrees we had were simply great - the Harilayi tikka chicken and calamari 65 were both cooked perfectly. The protein was tender, moist and well marinated. The mains were generous and different. The barramundi curry was served as substantial and chunky pieces of fillet. The eggplant was wonderfully grilled and soft. Finally, the pannacotta topped off the evening. Although a little dense, it was so tasty and well balanced. Will be back.

Love, love, love this place...being indian, I normally avoid Indian restaurants in Melbourne, as I'm frequently disappointed...but not this one... went for dinner last night and the samosa smash (chaat) was as authentic as you would get in Mumbai or Delhi. Their water balloon busters ( pani puri) was a derivative, but beautiful flavours.

They have just started up breakfast on weekends, which I tried this morning, and I am in heaven. I had an amazingly authentic vada pao ( potato pakora in a bun) and misal pao ( a mixed legume dish served with crunchy topping)... and I've been transported back to Mumbai. Even the bread, made in-house, is authentic to the Mumbai street food experience....it's going to be very hard to stay away.

I’d seen a few good reviews on this new Indian restaurant, and was pretty keen to try it out myself. So my friend and I checked it out and we can vouch for all the great reviews! Being half Indian, I’m very picky with Indian foods, but everything we ordered was authentic and delicious! The samosa’s were incredible, the yoghurt and coriander chutney combo was perfect. We also shared the beef cheek curry and the eggplant main. Amazing flavours, and the beef was really tender. We also ordered the gulab gamun and the pannacotta, but probably only needed to share one dessert as they were very sweet. Staff were incredibly friendly, and overly attentive! I highly recommend checking this place out!!

Had takeaway here and it was good so thought we would dine in and was not disappointed! Very tasty food, highlights were the butter chicken which is amazing and the samosas with its coriander yogurt just delicious! Friendly and nice staff as well and a nice fit out, with the open kitchen the restaurant smells amazing.

This was my 2nd visit to this restaurant last night. I am not usually a fan of going out for Indian food but I have to say that this place is now my exception to this rule! The food is just sensational with thoughtfully and artfully created items that make your mouth sing as you experience the myriad of flavours. The chilli cheese naan (1 of over 5 naan varieties) is just divine. And the butter chicken just melts in your mouth.
If you try just 1 new restaurant this year, make this your destination of choice. The owners and chefs, husband and wife, Pratt and Satt will be there to guide you through this gastronomic journey.

Had their chefs banquet tonight, where do I start we were bursting at the seams at the end of the night. For $55 per head we had 4 entrees, 4 mains and 4 desserts along with a appetiser and drink to start the night off. Everything we ate was so good, I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat good honest Indian food from the North of India.

Both the food and the service here is excellent. This is my favourite indian restaurant in Melbourne. The guys are doing an amazing job. I've been twice now, first with my chef friend and second with my greek parents who ate indian for the first time. They all loved it. Strongly recommend you check it out, soooo good!

The food was fun and delicious and the staff were lovely. The entrees were particularly good, so tasty. I liked all the mains we tried and the vegetarian options were a bargain.

Do not wait another moment to try this place. Had heard excellent things but I was blown away. Started with the prawns and chicken tikka which were both unbelievable, the prawns we so fresh and great size too. For main we shared the lamb, barramundi curry and butter chicken. I’d heard the butter chicken comes with not enough chicken so I ordered with extra chicken which was a great decision, it could be the best I’ve ever had. Lamb and barramundi curry’s both exceptional but I think the highlight of the night was the buttered roti, we ordered it three times it’s literally cooked and put on your table in a matter of seconds so it’s still smokin hot and crispy and perfect to mop up all the amazing sauces left from the delicious curries. Service was good and fast... really a terrific dinner and the joint was packed which gave it a great atmosphere..: will be back several times and I strongly recommend anyone to give it a visit... dine in or takeaway (but not Uber eats... go pick it up yourself)

Funky Indian I would describe - husband and wife team (both professional chefs) who are cooking their mothers and grandmothers dishes and many other authentic Indian dishes served in a modern way - your can taste the freshness of the ingredients and their naan bread is the best I have ever tasted and I have eaten a lot of Indian including in India itself.

Not many Indian restaurants here in Melbourne have been able to retain true Indian essence with fusion Indian food. This has to be one of those few! A small but absolutely warm and welcoming place! Great hosts and hospitality. Loved the cocktails and the creativity around it! The starters were really nice. A special mention to the special 3 idiots cheese stuffed beetroot kulcha! Loved it! As suggested it can be had as a separate dish in itself! The veg main course was little bland for my taste palette. Did not taste non-veg main course but I was told it tasted very good! We tasted most of the desserts, they were subtle and yum! Finally tried filter coffee in Melbourne! Authentic taste!

Wrote the below review a month ago, and today we drove back down again for another feed. Chose the 'Feed Me Idiots' chef's choice menu this time. Great value. We were stuffed. Staff just as friendly and obliging and the quality of the food was outstanding. This time I remembered to take some photos! ... Best Indian I've had in years. Friendly and attentive staff and everything was made with care and skill. Even the small dishes like the pappadums, the chutney and the raita, which other restaurants often can't be bothered to exert themselves over, were a cut above. They've got a great mix of curry house staples, and also some more unusual/modern takes which I loved seeing. Completely forgot to take photos of anything until desert came out. Too busy digging in. My husband and I live 2 hours away, but we're already talking about making the trip down to eat here again.

We ordered couple of dishes such as calamari 65, butter chicken and bhindi. Except bhindi, rest of the dishes were super delicious. For Bhindi, it was too salty so we had requested the check the salt level and staff mentioned that they can’t do anything as we make bhindi like this. For people who eat normal salt level can ignore bhindi in this restaurant. Rest of the dishes are worth try.

Great food and hospitality. We tried the fried chicken ribs, paneer tikka and prawns for entrée. All the entrées were amazing. The paneer tikka presentation was eye catching. For main course we ordered the Sindhi mutton, chef recommended butter chicken and black daal. Mutton was very succulent and full of flavour and butter chicken was amazing with just the right smokiness. Daal was nice too. The best course was desserts. We got the home made cassata, kharwas panacotta and vegan gajar halwa. Cassata was to die for followed by panacotta (loved the mango pearls). Gajar halwa was a nice take for vegan guests. In all great modern take on Indian cuisine with presentation and combinations of dips and smoke but being very authentic with flavours. It’s a must visit.
