Review Co Thu Quan - Richmond

Good food, very reasonable price. But the service can definitely be improved. The waitress doesn’t want to answer any questions or be helpful…

While the chef was out sick and tossed friend dishes where unavailable to order, the place still filled up quickly. We ordered grilled lemongrass chicken on sticky rice was very flavourful. The grilled pork on broken rice was also delicious and had a good charcoal flavour (a wokhey of sorts). Service was not fast but nothing to complain about. I would return. Prices are reasonable:)

I highly recommend ordering their banh xeo (vietnamese pancake) which turned out to be spectacular. The pancake itself is so thin and nicely fried that it was so crispy throughout. We also ordered other dishes like lemongrass pork with rice noodles and their variety of spring rolls, rice paper rolls and fried wantons. Everything served there was fresh and flavoursome. Service was great and speedy!

Amazing Vietnamese street food. One of the must go places in Melbourne if you love Viet food. Big menu with many options. Highly recommended.

One of the best crab noodle soup I’ve had so far. Loved the decor. Service was friendly. Would come again!

we don't often come to Richmond so this restaurant was a great last minute find...the serving sizes could have been a little bit more but satisfied overall...service waa friendly and courteous and probably one of the popular places to eat as it was buzzing with customers before we arrived and after we left...

Always a consistent experience at Co Thu Quan Richmond branch. The food is delicious and staff are friendly. The food here differs from other Vietnamese restaurants due to the variety which is more focused on Northern Vietnam which has some incredible dishes such as vermicelli with tofu and meatloaf, crab soup noodles and vermicelli soup. I would recommend this place to try other Vietnamese dishes.

Definitely in my top 3 restaurants on Victoria St with lots of Vietnamese dishes that you won't find on a lot of other menu's. Super reasonably priced and lots of the dishes are smaller portions so you can try lots of different things. Stand outs are the Rice Paper Jerky Salad, Clear Prawn Dumplings (great chewy texture!) & Dried Shrimp and Sour Mango Rice Paper Rolls
