This place has great coffee and I mean really good coffee. A must try. Plus the staff are enthusiastic about it too and very knowledgeable. Quite liked the funky, laid back feel to this place.
Can get very busy so don't be surprised if you have to wait a while to get your coffee - it's worth the wait.
Today I had a salad that was very tasty with generous portion size. Good value for money really. My friend had a wrap that was also good and only just finished it off because of its size.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram/stroller accessible. Parking - well it's not too bad considering. Just watch out for those parking inspectors.
I have lived in Richmond for 16 years and this place is above the rest - which is saying something given how many cafes there are in Richmond. They never forget a face and never produce a bad coffee. The constant crowd of customers inside waiting and those that spill onto the street is an indication of how good this place is. But some how you always manage to get your coffee really quickly and with a smile. Salads are excellent and great value for money. This place deserves five stars.
Their coffee is smooth and nutty. Love their coconut milk hot chocolate! The female barista is so funny and friendly. She remembers most regular customers’ orders.
Amazing place, it's pretty hard to get a place that tick my 4 boxes: good food, good price, good portion, good service. Okay its food is probably not the best in Richmond, but it is way above average. The price is also very affordable and their servings are generous. Be it sandwiches, wraps, lunch boxes from their bain marie, they most likely won't disappoint you. Best thing I have ever had here are chips and salad. And the worst thing is probably their Asian stir fry. The service here can be chaotic but they serve things fast and the staffs are friendly. To top it off, the coffee here is one of the best in Richmond.
this place is a great stop in before work with great coffee a large variety of foods made up early in the morning (or fresh on order), which is super convenient for early risers. being vegan, I do wish that things were labelled or atleast allowing knowledge of what's not in something (like dairy and eggs). the staff are wonderful and helpful though. also, an alternative to butter would be awesome😊
7 grams is the place to start your day positive!! The barrista team; Jason, iris, Omar, Sam are funny, courteous and great coffee makers. You walk in, you get greeted by name or nickname, chat to your other local coffee addicts, pay less for your coffee if you have a keep cup or similar, quick service (you might be 15th in line but still out in a flash and receive a great coffee the way you personally like it. The team make having a coffee a treat, the way it should be. Thank 7 grams team
The staff at 7grams are amazing! They are super friendly and remember all of their customers names and orders, I have no idea how they do it! Their coffee and food are also fantastic, I know when I go in there that I won't be disappointed. Highly recommend :)

From the moment we walked in through the door we did get greeted and made welcome , coffee was excellent and made to perfection absolutely nailed it, there food was nice and definitely worth the visit
Staff are such an important part of a cafe. People often forget that over worrying about the coffee or menu. This it's where 7 Grams nails it. As a first time visitor I was made to feel welcome and part of the conversation. I only went in for coffee but the vibe has me promising myself I'll be back
The boys at 7 grams make this place! Jason behind the coffee machine is an absolute jet! And the brothers, well... You guys are alright! Haha jokes. You're all legends. Come here for a great coffee and wide range of salads.
Another cafe? With a cafe around every corner it's almost redundant reviewing another. But with many cafes come many bad coffees and badder focaccia. First thing about 7 grams is how the guys behind the counter are on point. They are alert, Interested and proficient. The coffee good, service prompt and professional plus the food unfussy and tasty. Ticks all the boxes.

I have been going here religiously, you can't fault their coffee. I'm not sure about the food as I haven't tried enough to give an opinion. But worth the trip for the coffee alone
Great coffee, couldn't fault it! Food is great with an upbeat atmosphere. There isn't a lot of seating available so get in before the lunchtime rush! Definitely be back.

Found my new lunch spot. Was walking passed and decided to grab a bite, and how glad I am now :) A take-away box jammed full of delicious, homemade salads. Was not the usual disappointment of lettuce leaves and a few chickpeas; You know when other places use the best ingredients sparingly? WELL 7 grams does not!! These were well dressed, made with love with plenty of vego options. The haloumi was yummo! as was the pumpkin and chili potato. all the super grains were cooked perfectly and there was a different combo of flavours in every bite. See you soon 7 Grams!

The staff get to know your name and can literally make your coffee just by looking at you. This kind of service is what makes it stand out amongst other providers along the strip.
This is my go-to coffee spot at work. Coffee is spot on, great selection of little sweet treats in the cabinet, terrific selection of lunchy wrap type gear & friendly prompt service. Morning coffee is hectic if you get caught in the rush but well worth it.

Staff so helpful and friendly. The place was very tiny but, boy, was it busy during lunch time. I went there s couple of times with a great value Scoopon. And each time the staff behind the counter was very patient to explain every type of hot food, every type of salad that was available. Absolutely yummy healthy food. The roast beef was very nice. Will definitely return and pay full price when I'm in the area.

This place used to be my go-to coffee shop when I lived in Richmond. Coffee is a stand out but they have some yummy lunch options too. If only they were open weekends and I could get back there more often..

2 Words...Salad Bar. The greatest selection of salad I have ever seen in a cafe. Cheap price and great tasting food.
7 Grams is located on Church Street and promises a lot with one of the owners (Con) promoting his title as the world Latte coffee art champion, 2008. For me however the coffee was a little bland on the day of this review. Still the place was pumping at 8am, obviously a sign of it's local popularity!

What sets this place apart from almost every other cafe in the area (and Melbourne in general) is that, as a customer, you are acknowledged the minute you step through the door by friendly baristas and staff who are genuinely happy to serve.
The coffee is great, hot, fast and not expensive. Really good selection of sandwiches, salads and breakfast options, too. Love this place - I always swing by while walking my dog.

Nice local cafe run by a family that has been in restaurant industry since they were 7 years old! Great selection of food including fresh salads, sandwiches and bakery. Actually delicious hot chips made in-house with a secret chicken salt seasoning recipe.

Best coffee team in Melbourne. Always having fun with customers - it is infectious. Surviving homeschooling or needing a caffeine hit - I walk past (6) other coffee shops to get there and am never disappointed.
