Got some take away from here. I ordered some roti bread which was really good but they were stingy with the peanut sauce.
I also ordered some pad see ew with pork belly as there was no chicken available. This dish was very nice, the pork was really tender and rendered well, and the noodles and the sauce was tasty. The greens were fresh and overall I really enjoyed everything.

I went here for dinner tonight. My friend and I shared 2 entrees. We had the fish cakes which were rather average and they were served w a really sweet sauce. Mmnn not a good start.
We had some fried chicken as an entree which was tasty.
Then we had some roti bread with a delicious satay sauce. Yummmmm haha I could have eaten that all night!!
For main course we had Pad See Ew which was delicious, pork belly w broccoli and rice noodles. Wow!
Then we shared the beef rib Panang Curry which raised the bar again. The meat just literally fell off the bone. OMGosh this was soooo tasty haha
The service was excellent, especially as the waiter was working alone. Well done.
The roti bread and the mains were exceptional, and to be honest I wouldn't order the entrees again. This place is definitely worth a visit I'd you are after some really good Thai.
If the entrees were better I would have rated this place a 5/5.
Great Thai food paired with Thai inspired cocktails - what more do you need to get on down to @ladyboydining ! They put on such an incredible feast with favourites for summer like the som tam (so zesty and topped with juicy prawns), the duck and lamb curry and the crowd pleasing roti with satay sauce! Match them up with any of their gorgeous cocktails 🍸🍸

Ladyboy is a cool and funky Thai restaurant and bar in Richmond. I absolutely love the colourful fit out and the energetic atmosphere here.
We came as a group and opted to sit in their backyard, which was perfect on a breezy Spring evening. We started off with a few cocktails and watched them being made at the bar at the back. My favourite drinks were the Jedi Master and the Pina Colada.
We tried a variety of different dishes that night, but the main highlights would have to be:
Thai Ceviche (salmon) - I can never go past a good ceviche! So fresh and light, with a nice sweet and tangy flavour. Can’t go wrong!
Somtum - another one of my all time favourite Thai dishes. Again, very refreshing and tangy, with a good amount of spice, and perfect for the summer.
Pad See Ew - absolutely loved this dish! Packed with flavour, and plenty of delicious pork belly. Very delicious.
Red Duck Curry (special) - I loved the addition of lychee in the curry! The sweet and creamy flavours went so well with the fluffy steamed rice, and the duck was very tender and juicy too.
Of course, we couldn’t leave without trying dessert. We had one of each, but my favourite has to be the Coconut & Pandan Bombe Alaska - I just love the flavour and fragrance of pandan! All the desserts were quite light and not too sweet, and they were the perfect finish to the night.

Great vibe and decor, the food is inexpensive and taste amazing. It is on the spicy side but perfect for me.
Fantastic dining experience. Besides the obviously great decor and atmosphere, the service is top notch and cannot be faulted.
But most importantly, the food is an exciting twist on traditional Thai, with great portions to boot. Understandably, their famous cocktail and mock tails were amazing.
Amazing atmosphere out in the back, warm lighting in a cosy courtyard.
Cocktails are so creative and yum, as is the food.

Ordered a la carte instead of the feed me, and my party of 5 were extremely full! The feed was great, and reasonably priced as well. Portion sizes were a little small. The starters did come out a little bit slow but they were super tasty! High recommend the lamb ribs, pork belly with chilli jam and the duck curry! Thanks for the night!
Excellent service and delicious food!!! My friend and I ordered the lamb shank massaman, along with 3 appetizers for $39 which is such a good price. The salmon ceviche, ribs and chicken wings tasted amazing. The staff were extremely attentive and the ambience was lovely.
😱Lizzie’s first impression: one of my all time favourite Thai places - I love the vibes of this place and the staff are incredibly warming.
🍩Lizzie enjoyed: the Thai dishes are more spicy that average but I love it. The pad Thai is delicious and worth trying everytime. The curries especially the red one is delicious. I love the pork belly dish - it is crispy and has that honey glaze seared over it.
🍅Lizzie did not enjoy: it may be a little louder especially in the mid area with the tree in the middle so it’s hard to talk to your friends if you have a big group. (You’ll understand when you see it)

Great great night out
I came here on a Wednesday night to meet up with some old friends from Melbourne and we had a blast.
We were greeted with big smiles at the door and told to choose where we wanted to sit. We knew that we would be loud so we decided to go to the back garden for more space.
My friends and I could not be bothered choosing so we went with Feed Me option and we were not disappointed (make sure you tell your server about your allergies).
We ordered all sorted of cocktails and they were fabulous. Our bartender knows what's he doing so talk to him and he can tailor cocktails to your liking. Tip: he loves a challenge so give him one. I asked for a Rob Roy which was not in his cocktails repertoire and he nailed it.
Food-wise, everything was abundantly delicious. We start of with salmon ceviche, full of flavour. The wings were so good but don't get hooked to it or you'll miss out on other great stuff. The lamb shank was tender, it just fell of the bone; the massaman curry was spot on. The papaya salad was delicate and so tasty. I could not get enough of it. Fried fish and tamarind sauce was to die for, really. At this point I was thinking "that's it, no more" but there it came the famous pad Thai.
It is fair to say, we all came home a few kilos heavier that night and a lot happier too. Nothing is better than good food, good drinks and good company. Highly recommended!
Casual Asian fusion restaurant on bridge road with a funky fit out. Between two we shared the salmon ceviche, the fried chicken, the pomelo and soft shell crab salad and the pork belly betel leaves. I thoroughly enjoyed every single dish we ordered. Couldn’t even pick a favourite. My only comment was that the restaurant could have done with a slightly more effective AC system. The heat became almost unbearable as more diners arrived.
Came with large group to celebrate a birthday, top class food and amazing fairy floss cocktails! No split bill as mentioned by someone earlier but we didn't had any issues with that. Will be back soon for more cocktails.
First time here and it was wonderful. Beautiful cocktails on special, soft shell crab crepes for entree, followed by pad Thai for the BF and chicken stirfy for me. Great portions and not too much. Well priced and great service. Will definitely be back.
Great selection of food and drinks. Had the 3 for 39 entrees because we were feeling like nothing too heavy and was glad we did. Had the ribs, ceviche and fritters. All good perfectly and is flavoured very well. Bold and delicious. We enjoyed the ribs the most because the texture of the meat was so soft and it was juicy and fell off the bone.
The place had great hip vibes for a casual dinner experience.
Will come back to try their other dishes.
Lamb shank is sooooo good, very nice atmosphere in the restaurant and great service from staff. Highly recommend LadyBoy for great food and amazing cocktails.

Food was modern Thai, a bit different to your stock standard suburban Thai eatery.
We thoroughly enjoyed a range of share plates to start with, followed by a few mains, all to share as a group.
Standout favourites were the pork belly, lamb ribs, barramundi and pad thai. Steamed rice was plentiful.
Would happily return.
Really cute trendy little restaurant with the neon signs, the outdoor bar area is very nice! I had the pad Thai which was really nice but quite spicy, so if you’re not into hot things maybe ask for it mild. My family had Massaman curry and yellow curry which they enjoyed.
Love, love, LOVE LadyBoy. I was instantly won over by the decor, but then everything else about the place followed suit. Absolutely fabulous Thai food with a modern twist and packed with flavour.
We sat in the bar area and couldn't get enough of all the little details in the decor surrounding us. There is also an adorable little courtyard attached which is perfect for some after dinner drinks.
The staff were so helpful and happy, which in turn made me happy! Can't wait to return! Yum!!
Everything was amazing, especially the soft shell crab salad and Penang beef rib curry. the service was good too. Couldn't fault anything and am a bit surprised it doesn't have a higher score on here
Enjoyable easy, low key Sunday evening dinner . The service was friendly and efficient. We ( group of 4) shared a chicken curry dish, the lamb shank and twice cooked belly pork plus boiled rice. The food was tasty, we had a bottle of wine , and they topped up the table tap water regularly. Cost about 125$ for 4
Dined her tonight with the Mrs. Seriously loved this joint. From the decor to the food, everything was on point. Pina colada's were also very good!
Beautiful interior! Appetisers were much more tasty and delicious than the “mains”. Next time i go, i think i will order a bunch of appetisers and sides - they were great!

Food is quite spicy ; even when we asked for mild so just be aware of this. Great little local place for a few drinks and dinner :) service was good too!
Love the new cocktail menu. Happy hour pretty good as well. Lamb ribs taste pretty well. Will be back for sure. Need to write more words to make minimum level..................

I was so happy to find this place - been looking for a decent local thai place for a long time! Booked here with a big group and we got the whole outdoor section to ourselves. Everything we got was delicious and beautifully presented, and reasonably priced!! ($30 each). My faves: white gold cocktail, soft shell crab sliders and Thai ceviche
Great dining spot, really loved the decor of the place. Ordered the Pad Thai and Lamb Shank Massaman.
Pad Thai wasn't anything special, portion could be bigger especially for the price. Wasn't filling at all.
Lamb Shank Massaman was pretty good with all the right spices, meat was quite tender.
Dropped in for a quick dinner with my lady. Upon looking at the menu, I noticed it was quite small compared to most other Thai inspired restaurant, not to say this is a bad thing. In fact, what we did order, was well executed. The dishes looked beautiful and simple and the taste didn't disappoint either.
Simple food done nicely, not expensive, nice place to drop by for a quick, tasty meal.

The food was fresh and tasty, attentive service and the interior design was creative but not too over the top.
Perfect for sharing - papaya salad and eggplant smaller dishes are very zesty and the massaman curry meat was cooked to perfection.
Very solid modern Thai restaurant on the popular Bridge street strip of Richmond.
The interior of this place is awesome! Very modern and great atmosphere. Went for dinner at 6pm so the restaurant was fairly quiet at this time and the service was good.
Food was equally as good! Started off with the salmon Thai version of ceviche. Was a good balance of flavorsome and fresh. The soft shell crab sliders was the better starter of the two. The apple slaw with the crab was a great flavor combo.
The real star of it all was the lamb massaman curry. One of the best massaman's that I've had. Absolutely delicious. The lamb was served straight off the bone and was so tender it melted in your mouth. Paired with coconut rice I couldn't stop eating this!!
I'd love to come back and try some other dishes and eat that curry again! :)

Ladyboy..what a treat. Every dish we tried we thoroughly enjoyed. There was enough spice and heat, and flavours that packed a punch. The 4 hour braised beef rib was particularly memorable. The succulent meat slid off the bone into a pool of delicious, spicy, coconut Penang curry. Staff were wonderful as well.
A memorable title for a Thai restaurant and bar venue, LadyBoy Dining & Bar accurately portrays an authentic Thai street vibe through their painted murals on the walls, outdoor beer garden and intricately designed interior decor. They have recently undergone a change in management and staff, but it was all for the better. The newly reopened venue retains its cultural tribute and ice-breaking title, with a focus on modern Thai food and drinks served tapas-style.
The Lamb Shank Massaman was absolutely delectable. Beautifully presented with a whole lamb shank served within a bowl of flavourful and aromatic Massaman curry, it was definitely a sight to behold. Digging into the dish revealed exceptionally tender and succulent protein that simply melted away in your mouth. This was well complemented by the flavoursome and creamy curry sauce, though we could’ve done with more spices within to give it an extra kick in flavour. All served with soft and chunky cuts of potatoes, and pile on some fragrant rice, it was a dish no one could have enough of!
Been here a few times and enjoyed it every time. Went there recently since it has changed. Management and it was superb. Calamari with an Asian dipping sauce was so fresh the chicken wings were good sized and delicious. Had the beef short rib red curry which was amazing... bit spicy for me but so tasty.
Been to its sister restaurant many times (sabai on church street) Really liked it there so decided to check out ladyboy on bride road. The food was good and pets are allowed in the courtyard! Was really happy with the friendly staff. The Lamb Massaman was really delicious with roast patatoes in the mix. Good to find a Melbourne Thai restaurant run by a thai! The roti is also to die for.
Heard the place exchanged hands few weeks ago. Still awsome venue and the food is as good as always. New people own Sabai on Church st, Richmond as well with outstanding reviews, so already knew we're in for a treat. New regular for us with happy hour feom 5-7 and beer garden at the back with pets allowed!! +bonus!
With the kitchen headed up by an ex-Longrain chef you know you are going to be in for a treat. Fun, edgy playful interiors set the scene for a wondrous culinary experience designed around share plates. Pops of neon fill the space with playful signage brightly beaming the words 'rock out with your wok out'. We started with the the grilled calamari betel leaf and roti with peanut sauce washed down with pina coladas. Wow. We then selected two of their signature dishes for main, the salted chicken pad Thai and the lamb Penang curry. It left me wondering why the very nearby and very similar, (both decor wise and modern Thai fusion style wise) Botherambo is so popular when this place is cheaper and has a superior execution of a superior menu.
Loved this Thai fusion restaurant! They were super busy (which is a testament to how good lady boy is) but still delivered delicious food! The vibe and ambience at the restaurant is gorgeous. Cocktails are delicious and pretty too! We loved the mix of traditional Thai dishes (such as curries and stir fries) and more modern twists (such as crispy chicken and salmon ceviche). All dishes were flavoursome beyond words. The pandan coconut bomb Alaska dessert is a must order too!
Come for the fusion menu, stay for the amazing cocktails and smiley staff who are all too helpful. My local favourite and one that I can't get enough of. Best get to trying the Sweet Potato Curry, Warm Peanut Satay Roti and the quintessential Pad Thai amongst the vibrant and eclectic interior.

Visited this place on Saturday night, it was busy so we sat in the courtyard, it was probably nicer any way! They have really beautiful cocktails here. Both the papaya and pork belly salads were quite good. The crispy pork salad was really nice too.
Not great but not bad either. Nothing to rave home about. We had the banquet and there was way too much of the main dishes when we would have preferred more of the entre dishes. The cocktails are really good.

Our Richmond go to for Thai. Always a great atmosphere, bar/snacks out the back while you wait and then order the banquet and let the fun times begin. So much love for the pork hock. Tried the bad boy chicken wings at the Night Noodle markets last night and the Sriracha mayo was so on point. Keep doing what you do Ladyboy!
This place is amazing! Food, Decor, Staff! all fantastic!!!! Thai with a twist, and a menu that is not over complicated! This is a must go to place! Cant wait for summer, to sit out back and soak it in! Well done guys! You've nailed it!!!!!!
Ladyboy, just the name makes you want to go over there and have some fun! Brightening up Bridge Road, Ladyboy has attracted a fair bit of attention and the hipster crowd has a new spot to descend on on a Friday night and enjoy. The space runs through a large front room, small adjoining, decent sized back bar and a nice garden area too. We rock up and obviously weren’t able to book a just for four (does anywhere anymore!) and since our friend came past an hour ago it’s got a bit busier so we are told we can wait down at the back bar area and someone will come and say hi soon.

Went with a large group of friends on a Tuesday evening, around 10 of us. We had booked in advance and a large table was ready for us when we arrived. The service was acceptable, but nothing exceptional. I really like the ambiance of the place, a big plus there. If you like Chin Chin's atmosphere, you'll probably dig on Ladyboy.
Food and Drinks wise - I had one cocktail, which was a gin-based drink with lemongrass. It was relatively strong with a good flavour profile - you could really taste the lemongrass, but is wasn't overpowering. Two thumbs up there.
On the food side, things were a bit mixed - as a large group we were required to do their banquet, which is pretty commonplace for groups of that size - the sheer amount of food was impressive, but I'll cover the dishes one by one as well as I can remember them.
Kao Tod: OK, but nothing special. The rice balls were a little on the bland side.
Crispy Pork Hock w/ Black Vinegar Caramel & Shallots: Quite tasty - I'd order this one again. It is quite rich, so definitely cut it with something light like the salad.
Son-in-law Egg: OK, but nothing special. I think I'm just not a huge fan of this specific dish, not that there was anything wrong with their interpretation. Give it a shot if you like this dish usually.
Roti + Satay Sauce: The roti lacked that mix of soft inside and crispy light fried crunch on the outside and the satay sauce wasn't that good, coming off more like a seasoned peanut butter. I'd like to see them revise the recipe on the sauce.
Asian greens + oyster sauce: It was fine, but it's a very simple dish so there's not much wiggle room for greatness or screw ups :)
Green curry + chicken w/ apple eggplant and baby corn: This dish was more like a soup than a curry and probably the thing I was most disappointed with. The sauce was really runny and fairly light on for flavour and had virtually no chilli heat to it. The chicken used was skin on chicken thigh. Many of the folks in our party found the skin to be off-putting, because it was soggy from being stewed, rather than fried or baked. I'd like to see them revise this one too - a thicker and more full-flavoured sauce and lose the skin from the chicken.
Salted chicken pad thai: This dish was pretty solid. I'm not a huge fan of pad thai, but this was as good as any I've had. If you like a pad thai, then you'll probably enjoy this one!
Brown rice: it was plentiful and they kept it coming, no complaints.
Lime curd + crunchy meringue: The menu lists this as having asian fruits with it, however, what we were served was the lime curd, meringue with fine slivers of kaffir lime leaf on top. I really enjoyed this dish - it was small, but full of flavour.
Finally, the price, I think our banquet was about $38 a head before drinks, which is a pretty good deal for the amount of food.
I'd go back and try some other items on their menu, but would probably avoid their roti or green curry, since those are dishes I tend to really enjoy, but their interpretations of them just weren't that enjoyable to me.
If Ladyboy can iterate on it's menu a bit and punch up some of the personality in it's service, they'll have a huge winner on their hands.
The waiter that server us was very earnest and helpful, we got a wonderful meal and service was excellent. The Main dish of Pork Belly papaya salad was just yummy and so is the Mushroom stifry noodles. Definitely recommend
Incredible fusion thai food. Along with great atmosphere, mood lighting and music. Obsessed with their pad thai! A must try if you're looking for moody yet casual dining.
Fabulous food! A twist on the usual Thai food. Great ambiance. The pork hock is my favourite but all the dishes are interesting and delicious. The food is designed to share. Get there early as they only take bookings for 8 or more. Highly recommended.
I've always wanted to go to this place, every time I drive past. Mostly because of the name.

I bloody love this place. I've had a few meals with my girlfriend which have been hectically delicious. Very cool vibe with grey artwork on the wall.
You could easily spend an afternoon in their courtyard drinking Singha lagers or buckets - you might think you're back on Khosan road

We live half a block from LadyBoy and have probably visited at least 5-6 times since opening. I'm glad to see from when they first opened and were not flexible with any food intolerances and allergies, they now are which is a huge plus. I mention this in case people have only been earlier on - the rules have now changed.
My last experience here was last Saturday with some visitors from Perth. It was pretty busy but the service was faultless, we never were without a drink, the food came promptly and our waitress did not let us over order so we had the perfect amount. Highly recommend the caramelised pork hock, OHMGEE!! Loved it so much we ordered a second lot! The massaman lamb curry was very tasty served with brown rice which gives it a great nutty flavour/texture. Works much better than it would, had it been jasmine rice in my opinion. A Richmond local favorite, they've come along way since their early days of first opening. The menu is affordable and always delicious, changing seasonally and continues to innovate. Staff are hit and miss but Carlson is one of my favorites. I love that the tikki bar is dog friendly and frankly, I would go back every week if I could as their curries are mouth watering delicious. Top Richmond pick for sure!
Brilliant to share a meal and drinks with friends. The food is amazing - fresh flavours, perfectly cooked meat, possibly the best thai in Melbourne. The staff are friendly and very accommodating, and there is a back bar to relax if you arrive earlier than your friends. The betel leaves are amazing and must be tried! I've been twice with friends and can't wait to go back!
One word.....AMAZING! Been here a few times but the new menu is so good! Had the massaman, beetle leafs and rockling....was all so tasty! Will continue to come back!

Lovely Experience. We went here for dinner, and as it was my first time I did want to have a bit of a sample of everything. The coconut prawns with bay leaf starter was lovely, fresh and with a bit of bite; the second starter were two son in law eggs, which were cooked to perfection. For main we had the signature pork hock and, as long as you don't mind indulging a bit, was crispy deliciousness! The crispy chicken was not a favourite for me, the skin had a bit of a rubbery texture and the flavour was nothing to write home about. The roti was nice, but i've had better satay sauces if I'm honest, though the greens in oyster sauce was lovely and crunchy and the sauce was amazing.
The last thing I want to talk about is a cocktail that we shared between us; Sanuk (which apparently means 'to have fun' in Thai) and it was incredible!!
Overall, I had a lovely meal and will definitely be coming back, the service was also really good.
Delicious, but service can be improved.. Had dinner at 5pm, only 4 people were in the restaurant at the time. Had the pork hock (signature dish), yellow chicken curry and brown rice, which were amazing! Also the roti and satay sauce, didn't really like the sauce it was too sweet and oddly coconutty.
The service is average, could be more friendly and the brown rice didn't come out with our food, we had to ask for it again. The dishes are a bit too sweet/rich and I definitely recommend having it with rice. It reminds me of Chin Chin (although I prefer Chin Chin). Overall good experience, lovely homemade condiments on the table, and beautiful decor also, I would return.

Tried to get a table a few times on a Saturday night and was told the wait was around 20-30 mins. When we finally caved and said we'd wait, we went to the cutest outdoor courtyard our back. Decked out with colourful chairs, twinkly lights and surrounded by the place's own herb garden, we didn't mind waiting with a cocktail. When we finally were seated (the place is very squashy) the wait staff were helpful with the menu. We tried the pork hock which was super yummy though a bit sweet with the glaze and the fish curry was ok but super hot! The coconut salad was a bit weird as it was soaked in coconut milk which sounds nice but isn't. The cocktails are nice but presented average-ly (I know, not a word!) the dishes are a little on the pricey side like most tapas place but will be back to try other menu items. Be warned: they only serve Brown rice as I asked, it's because it's "healthier and more authentic". Pretty sure never ever seen brown rice in Thailand the 10+ times I've visited...weird!

So glad something like this is on bridge rd! Food delicious, good wine list & funky outfit. They should probably improve the extraction fan in the kitchen- the chilli fumes were a bit much at times. Few coughing fits could be heard, and opening of windows to let the chilly air in. Waitstaff great - friendly & available, with one exception of a supremely efficient girl who was rushing things.... Dumping bills when halfway thru wine bottle not ideal. Too bad if we wanted another drink after. And forcing paypass on ppl isn't gonna fill the tip jar. Will try to endeavor to have cash on me to tip next time cos they don't make it easy.
Way to wok my world!. Stepped in the front door and was engulfed by the wonderful smells emmenating from the woks cranking in the kitchen. What a fun and colourful place. The service was attentive and very friendly, a considerable effort considering how busy the place was. Fantastic little back bar to sample the lovely wine list as we waited for a table to open up. Will be back soon to sample the tasty bar snacks another night, by the time we smashed some seriously fresh oysters with green nahm jim our table in the dining area was ready. Every dish was seriously tasty. I would order everything again from entree to dessert. I loved the entire meal! Finally Richmond is onto a cracking little winner! Fun, relaxed vibe with some solid Thai flavours. I'll be back very soon. Next visit I'm hoping to see some crab on the menu!
Wow! What an experience. Great food and very attentive staff. Try the specials. It is always full so you have to get there early.
Very disappointing! My husband and I had the Sunday feed me. Waste of $$. We were served a bowl of chopped lettuce (not kidding!) and a seafood laksa type dish to share. No dessert no meat. No friendly service and no plan on returning.

Exceptional food with exceptional service. Great fitout with lovely decor. Only criticisms are the small menu (too much fish) and food was way too spicy.

You could be fooled by the hot lady boy on the wall, but there's no kidding about the quality of the food and the fun vibe of this new place! I'll be back for more!

LadyBoy Dining & Bar is a colourfully neon lit eclectic paradise. This funky new edition to Richmond’s Thai cuisine Bridge Rd is hip with a cool vibe about it. Not feeling particularly hungry? No worries. There is a bar at the back just before the garden courtyard is for those who just wan to sit back, relax and have a drink. The walk-in restaurant offers food on the menu mainly to share and is only open from 6pm onwards. Reservations can only be made for groups of 6 or more. Service good and staff are friendly, happy to answer any questions regarding the menu. Food in general was on the slightly pricier side for what you get, however it’s really really good. It makes sense when ingredients are sourced fresh and there is no skimping on the essential herbs that makes Thai food Thai. LadyBoy does well to stay true to authentic Thai flavours. LadyBoy Bar Colourful paper lanterns and umbrellas decorate the bar ceiling. Betel leaf, green mango, pomello and herb salad $4.00 each Highly recommended by one of my colleagues, these vegetarian betel leaf wraps were refreshing. The herbs and spices really give it a good burst of flavour. Green papaya, snake bean and peanut salad (minus the peanut) $12.00 This green papaya salad is really spicy. At first you don’t really feel it, but when you do…you do. A little heavy on a fish sauce dressing, and too spicy for my taste, the green papaya salad is not suitable for vegetarians as it does contain fish sauce. Salt and pepper silken tofu with chilli jam and coriander $14.00 We all agreed that this silken tofu dish was the highlight dish of the night. The deep fried silken tofu was amazing. Imagine melts in your mouth tofu softness that’s slightly crispy sitting on a delicious chilli jam sauce that resembled gochujang with honey. Simply the best! My favourite Thai food in Melbourne - always come here. Great food, service & atmosphere. I forgot my bag here last time I dined in and this young man with glasses who worked here was so nice & came out running with it. 10/10 all around. If you’re looking for a venue with lip smacking flavours and top notch decor Lady Boy Dining is a must visit.
The menu is modern Thai and the decor transports you to the vibrant streets of South East Asia with vibrant colours, wall murals and a ceiling festooned with colourful parasols and lanterns that glow mesmerisingly by nightfall.
I tried the Soft Shell Crab Bao and the Cumin Lamb Ribs to share to start with, but totally divine 🦀
For the main the Beef Short Rib Penang Curry did not disappoint and was absolutely delicious with steamed coconut rice 🍚
They have a great list of cocktails, the Lychee Long Time was my pick!

Had a birthday dinner tonight at Lady Boy. Can’t even express how delicious the food and cocktails were (especially the Massaman lamb). The staff and service were incredible from the booking through to the entire night. Accommodated all dietary requirements and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back again! Thank you
Food is absolutely delicious and 90% of the menu is gluten free! Cocktails are also amazing and the staff are really friendly - definitely recommend for a date night or dinner with friends.
This is my second time coming back here. I took my date here for our third date. He had an amazing food experience and enjoyed the flavours. It's a contemporary take on Thai food with the Thai flavours present. I look forward of coming here more often.
Got some take away from here. I ordered some roti bread which was really good but they were stingy with the peanut sauce.
I also ordered some pad see ew with pork belly as there was no chicken available. This dish was very nice, the pork was really tender and rendered well, and the noodles and the sauce was tasty. The greens were fresh and overall I really enjoyed everything.
