So glad Covid brought the opportunity to try the All Nations. Terrific Parma in a Take Away Pizza box. Left my salad behind, so what do they do??? Deliver it to my door. Thanks Sarah. Delicious meal, great service 🙌
Nice pub. Good staff. Good menu. Nice range of drinks. Handily located across from the safe injecting facility, this is a smart well run pub. We enjoyed our pre dinner drinks here. Place was good, drinks were good, service was good. I like it. I’d happily stay for a meal next time.
This was our spot for an office lunch which was walking distance. If you're up for a meal, make sure you turn right and get the outdoor setting which is much better. Reservations recommended for a big crowd.
I got myself the bangers and mash after much thought and wasn't the best decision I've made. It consisted of 2 good pork fennels with mash. This is a tasty dish, but not filling by any standards. On the other hand, the other guys who ordered burgers, Parma and some healthy salads were all very satisfied with their food plus the drinks.
It 's a good place to chill out with friends and spend some quality time, recommended!
😱Lizzie’s first impression: My friend had heard great things about this place. It is situated on the humble st that is Lennox st in Richmond. My friend was right - food and staff were impeccable.
🍩Lizzie enjoyed: I loved how fresh and massive the Parma was - the chicken was tender and juicy and was a large chunky piece! The sausage pasta was also another winner - generous amounts of pork sausage and a good hit of chilli. The sticky date pudding was delicious!
🍅Lizzie did not enjoy: I love my sticky date pudding and unfortunately found mine just a little on the dry side! Nonetheless it was very flavoursome and even had date bits in it!
🥇Lizzie rates overall: A great pub food kind of place and we left feeling content, happy (and full)!
My partner was after a good pub Parma and we decided to give the All Nations a go. A colleague of mine also recommended this place to me during the week.
When we walked in I saw all the signs saying that "The Front Bar" was filmed there each Thursday night. That may have explained all the Richmond supporters there and the punter who suddenly broke out in the Richmond theme song haha
And all the AFL and Rugby League games are played live every week. Some things you find out just a little too late haha
It was fun! The bar staff were friendly and efficient and the punters were happy as Larry for obvious reasons!
Our beer was a Ruby Tuesday from Matilda Bay Brewery which was yummy hahaha really delicious. And it went down too well for a Sunday afternoon lol.
The Parma was thick and tasty, the chips good and the salad fresh. Overall this was a great choice and only a minutes walk from Victoria St. Perfect 👍
Well worth a visit.
Great service, the staff here area fantastic! Food is standard pub grub ,a decent size and above average. I had the burger, it was a beast! Great for watching the footy, and having a chat to some of the locals.
I wasn't sure where I was being lead too... This little pub is well hidden in the residential area of Richmond- but it was still only 200m from Victoria street. Ate the Parma - perfectly cooked and served with chips and salad. The TV show Friday Front Bar is filmed here. Great old style bar .....
The All Nations has it all worked out. They go out of their way to please in all areas. The staff are superb, friendly, accommodating and professional. The Menu is so totally in sync with the locale. It's edgy and tasty. There are the usual pub faves- Parma and steak but there is a gastronomer's selection as well. We decided to opt for a Bernese beef and a home made sausage linguine. Wow. The flavours in both dishes were refined, tested and faultless. Of special note was the tenderness of the beef. So, having started with perfectly grilled saganaki accompanied by a lemon, parsley and caper salad, what else could we say except that we will definitely be back. I'm a critical diner and tonight the only negative that comes to mind is that I don't live in Richmond.
Brilliant establishment that you can imagine anyone from any background feeling comfortable in. The bar staff rocked.. kept a tab going for us and we didn't need to move from the beer garden all night. Food came out quickly, Beef salad is divine and the lamb cutlets were perfectly prepared. All nations is one of the handful of pubs that have Melbourne Bitter on tap, and it is magic ! Only a block back from Victoria Street, it rocks !
I really enjoyed the All Nations Hotel, definitely a spot to keep in mind as a spot for pre/post footy drinks (they even run a courtesy bus to and from the G on game days). The beer garden is right up my alley and I can definitely see myself stopping by for another pint or two in there. The parma is decent, but not without a few issues, with a bit of work it could be one of the better Thursday night deals I know of, I wouldn’t rush to check it out, but definitely worth poking your head in if you find yourself in the area.

Moved to Richmond in February...this pub is awesome! Food is great (my boyfriend eats here 3 times a week!) and the staff are nice. We had lunch here on Saturday, went to the footy on the free bus with my parents and returned for drinks, everyone said the food was beautiful and the day was great! Poor old Blues...
Enjoyed it each time I went. Bought some vouchers to use, the staff was accommodating, the dining area was nice and ambient, all the of the times I went I enjoyed the food and drink.
Good times were had.
It is a tradition pub, the staffs are beefy friendly, especially the waiter explained the menus very detailed! They were not stringy to serve the bread that is free before dinner. One thing I suggest to improve is: please upgrade the menu price, when I check price online does not match the price I read when I was dinning. It might give a misleading to people who checks the menu before coming to dine in! Thank you!
Waiting in the beer garden to meet friends for dinner, there's a good old Aussie raffle on. Amazing. My girlfriend is starving, the waitress offers free bread while we wait... This pub has already won in my books, the food being awesome is a bonus.
Sunday lunch. We dined in the courtyard last Sunday for lunch.
The staff were very friendly and attentive. The owner came over for a chat.
My steak (served with shoestring fries, beans and a mushroom sauce) was absolutely fantastic. A shame I was too full to try out their desserts.
This pub offers above average pub lunches.
A worthwhile place to visit.
Over the past 5 or so years I would say I have popped into this pub over 50 times and enjoyed a well cooked, fresh and delicious meal 99% of those visits. The manager was always standing at the bar, ready to greet you with a smile while busily pouring beers and chatting away to a local. The young waitresses scuttled around to ensure you're comfortable and your meals arrive and are well worth the drive in.
And then this happened:
We dined at the ANH in June. Walked in a did a lap of the barren bar and courtyard one Thursday night. Where is everyone? No atmosphere, no greeting from the "not the usual manager" at the bar. No waitstaff. Chose our seat, ordered our meals. Got served our meal and left after eating. No banter from the usually really friendly staff, no roars of laughter coming from the bar, even the open fireplace couldn't warm the empty feeling that the venue that was once a "sure thing" to go to with friends, had changed along with its staff. I haven't been back since and like any good relationship, I look back with fond memories but ponder what went wrong and why did it have to change...*sniff*
Awesome! Shhhhhh. Just moved into the area and thought i'd give All Nations a go. Staff were really very friendly, great fun to have a chat with and the food is really good quality, I am proud to have this place as the local!
Local fav with great service + great food. My partner and I have lived in the area for years and this pub is by far our favourite. The staff are very friendly & make you feel at home.
The pub has several areas to sit depending on what you feel like - relaxing in the courtyard, hanging out by the bar, or a nice dinner in the restaurant (it's lovely by the fireplace in winter).
I've never had a bad meal, and they have a great range of cheap pub meals - the steak sanga and lasagne are delish! If you're there on a Tuesday you have to get the T-Bone special.
Great pub. This pubs staff always make you feel welcome! If you're up for a decent feed, cold beer or a well thought out wine list and a relaxed warm environment this local is the place to be. If you're after a modern, overdone, perfect, pretentious pub I wouldn't pay it a visit but if you love a good old fashioned bar with character and friendly locals definitely pop it on your to do list. We always jump on the complimentary shuttle bus if we're heading to a game at the G and on arrival back to pub sit by the fire to enjoy the menu on offer. The duck and steak are for sure my favourites however at times you do just feel like a good old fashioned chicken parma which the chef whips up a treat. The only thing I could say is that the dining room is a little cold at times, so bring an extra layer if you want to sit in there. Overall a top pub so let go of any expectations you have and give it a whirl yourself. Great now that they FOXTEL so we never miss out on a game of footy as we don't have the luxury of having at home. Thanks to the all nations for keeping it real
Ticks all the boxes!. I reckon the All Nations is one of Melbourne's best kept secrets. Me and my mates regularly gather at the All Nations before the footy for a Steak lunch and some beers in front of the fireplace. It's cosy in winter and has an awesome outdoor courtyard in summer. There's also a free shuttle bus to the MCG for the footy which should be taken up on. Overall, the staff are great, service is good, the food is delicious... it ticks all the boxes for me!
Don't let appearances deceive you!. This pub from the outside does not look like anything special, however inside it has a nice atmosphere, nice beer garden and tasty food. Their wine selection is also pretty decent, check it out on the way back from Ikea!
Great meals, sat down with 9 adults, average rating between ourselves of 9 out of 10!!!! Hard to get.... Would def come back again!!!
Fantastic. New winter menu was up, and it was delicious. Great atmosphere, and we caught the bus to the MCG with no problem at all. Friendly staff and was very cosy with a nice fire burning.
Its a pub. With above average food, prices that make any CBD eater comfortable and a wine list with a few gems I reckon this pub is a pretty good option. The Draught is impeccable. Sometimes service can be a little iffy
Always my local. Very professional and friendly staff entertain us all with great beers and delicious food. A community orientated old fashioned yet still quite hip pub that makes you feel so welcome everytime you are there. TBone special on tuesdays is recommended
Classic traditional Pub!. You have to get down to the All Nations hotel to enjoy the classic traditional pub atmosphere that seems to be disappearing from our great city's pub scene.
Terrific friendly and efficient service, icy….I mean frigidly icy cold beer that will be hard to beat anywhere, a great relaxing atmosphere in the bar or the beer garden.
I had one of the best meals I have ever had last week, chef Chris Wells served up the best Slow Roasted Pork Belly I have ever experienced. I followed this with a very juicy 30 day Dry Aged Prime 400g Sirloin washed down with a Wayne Thomas Shiraz that I am still thinking about it, I have to get back there to have another one.
A couple of icy cold cleansing ales in the bar after to top of a great lunch.
What a great pub, not many of these real pubs left, terrific old bar to meet your mates in before the footy or just for a drink, great beer garden, big screens for plenty of sporting action, and if you want to slip away from the hustle and bustle try their restaurant, what a great meal.
PS: Andy I enjoyed your great friendly, welcoming professional service, I will be back soon!
Food here seem always great and staff helpful and friendly. Very good atmosphere and you can chose from a few ambiences for dinner. The bar is pretty nice to too. Lucky this is not far, and guilty of not frequenting here.
A real locals pub, friendly service, good yarns and great classic pub vibes 🍻
Proper local pub *without* pokies. Great food with steak night on Tuesdays, pot & parma night every Thursday, and weekly Sunday roast.
Super friendly and accommodating staff - I came in from out of state and they put on the NRL for me! Food was excellent - really nailed the pub grub :p Will go back next time I visit Melbourne for sure!
Authentic as it gets.
One of the OG Melbourne pubs, has the same feel and no pokies.
Food is off the charts .
(Get the pie) it's crazy good.
Sports and great staff with an outdoor area that's crazy cool.
This is a secret in town that's known by the locals...for a reason.
Pre beer before footy is a must and a shuttle bus to the footy as well..come on.
You guys totally rock this.
I'll be back.
Great pub great people. We come here regularly for work and it's always a great experience.
Great pub- good food/beer and excellent service from very attentive and helpful staff
Bob and his staff are absolutely fantastic, friendly and prompt, cannot recommend this place any better . Beautiful pub
