Review Acspresso - Richmond

Great coffee using beans from Toby's Estate. Tried a pastry which was delicious too. I didn't realise the cafe was for a good cause until afterwards but it deserves 5 stars in any case. Will be back!

Great coffee and food. Friendly and genuine staff. Nice and relaxed atmosphere, too. A great opportunity to help people make a fresh start for themselves. Please support this cafe.

Really great little cafe, tasty pastries and pretty good lunch items. They did soups last winter, with some gorgeous thick bread. Good food and a good cause? Love it!

We had a good coffee & some tasty banana bread today. We love the ethics behind this café.

Really good coffees & jaffles.
Recommend both the chicken avocado & pesto chicken jaffles.
Tried the cheeseburger jaffle today which was tasty too, but prefer the chicken jaffles.
Staff are friendly, happy and contributing to a really great cause. Cafe is clean and has a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
Highly recommend.

Walked past this place so I might as well pop in . The coffee was alright, however too much froth in the short macchiato. My friends cappuccino didn’t have chocolate powder on top which makes it a bad latte with too much froth. But the service was appalling! The guy looks disinterested and cold. Also I wanted to give an extra thirty cents so I don’t have to get a bunch of coins but he just refused to take it. Acceptable coffee but very disappointing service.

Nicely located at North Richmond station on the away from the city side. I needed a coffee urgently for my long train ride home. Raced in here, grabbed a long Mac and made the train. The coffee was lovely, service was good too. The inside space looked very inviting. A very worthy enterprise that aims to help ex offenders. I’m very glad I called in and will definitely do so again.

Lovely and exceptionally fast service, pretty decent coffee and most importantly, a great initiative! Will be stopping by more to support this lovely little cafe.

I really like the concept of this organisation so I called in for a coffee today.

The service was polite and the coffee was ok too. I had a warm piccolo latte, which was unusual but I know different people work here so it may be the barista on the day.

I'll be back 🙂

Consistently great (and speedy!) coffee, cosy atmosphere and friendly staff are just a few of the reasons why I love Acspresso. I only learnt after the fact that they are a not for profit and help ex offenders gain hand on experience.

Such a shame they don't have room for a kitchen, as if the coffee is anything to go by the food would be amazing!

Will always head here over surrounding cafes (on weekdays - not open weekends).

Good coffee & Great cold drip. The two staff are awesome - super friendly even when I'm dazed and confused.

The coffe was rich, bold, smooth and everything you look for in a morning cuppa! I Will be back!

New coffee shop just off hoddle st. Very easy to miss as it is literally designed as a house - very articulate though!

Inside the atmosphere is extremely cosy. Although there is no kitchen they offer premade sandwiches and foccacias and also some homemade desserts which are absolutely divine!!

However, don't come here to eat as this cafe specialises in coffee and only coffee. The coffee is superb no matter what you order and the service very friendly.

Great to sit down or take away acspresso definitely manages to stay on par with the extremely high Melbournian standard of extraordinary coffee.

Glad to welcome this new cafe to the hood; keep up te great work!!
