Review Nando's - Richmond

I am generally pleased with how the food comes out, very rarely am I dissatisfied with how it comes out or cooked. Not too bad of a Nando’s, as you can see a decent amount of seating. And seating comfortable to an extent. However they don’t have a sign advertising what they have on offer, and are relying on handheld menus next to the register. I assume they are getting the overhead menu fixed or replaced.

Definitely not the best Nando's I have been to. Always seems a bit dark and slightly unclean. The counter staff seem to have some difficulties in taking my order however once that was sorted the food came out pretty quickly and was good.

Awesome place! Many of the people who reviewed here need to wake up to themselves! I've been coming here for years and never had an issue. It's a busy fast food retailer... comments about sticky tables at lunch time can happen at any business and I recommend this place as one of the best nandos getting around! To anyone reading, my advice would be to judge for yourself and be realistic by not expecting a five star restaurant rating because that's not what you're paying for!!! Great tasting chicken is what you want and that's what this place does!!!! To all the pessimistic writers, get a life!

Very disappointing service through UberEats. Food was prepared and delivered late, drinks weren't delivered and my food was stone cold. For a store which is 10 minutes away max from my home, it was a huge let down. But that’s not all, to top off my experience I phoned the store regarding the situation wanting advice on what to do, to be told it’s not their problem and it was my fault and to my delight, had someone talk over me for 10 minutes. Disgusting.

Absolute blizzare service as they asked us to use lesss extra sauce and ended up taking the bottle. We ordered 2 whole chicken + 2 large fries.. naturally will need extra sauce. So embarrassing when someone comes and talks to you rudely like that.

Disappointed service. We were three people, and all the take away orders were served first, even when we arrived before these orders.Our order arrived in different times, so we had to wait to eat together. They forgot the cheese in one of the wraps, the drink from my friend was not served when she asked for her drink, the staff member said wait i have to check your order and she went to prepare the meal, keeping me waiting, so i have to ask to other member of the staff. If there are less than one star i will rate with zero

Amazing food as always. The 5 stars are for the amazing generosity we witnessed by the man on the grill, a homeless man entered the building from the cold and proceeded to take a few chips off an abandoned meal, the man on the grill then came from the back and presented the man with some food with a smile, it was so lovely to see. I'm not sure if the man from the back was the owner or not but he is an incredible human, we will certainly be back :)

3 of our chips did not arrive, absolutely disgusting presentation looks as though they threw everything in a bag with napkins scrunched up as though they have been used. ETA kept changing all the time arrived at 1:20 when original Eta was 12:57. Everything was cold.! This has happened before I thought I would give them another chance but yet again we have been let down!

The food is always fresh and tasty. I highly recommend the classic wrap as the chicken is super tender and marinated to perfection! This store isn’t as nice as other ones when it comes to cleanliness.

I got take away from Nando's for dinner. <br/>I ordered the Classic Wrap with cheese and a side Peri-Peri chips with Perinaise chip dip. The food was fresh and nice - the chicken was juicy and the chips cooked well. The meal was filling without over doing it. <br/>The service wasn't great though, I felt as though the man serving me didn't understand me.

Terrible. Don’t waste your money. Pita consists of lettuce and chicken. No other salad. When they don’t bring things you order the wait staff just ignore you and you never get it. Really gone down hill.

I’m a huge Nando’s fan also and feel as though this branch is letting the brand down. Not the cleanest environment, cutlery were dirty, no usual tap water available and the wrap had almost no chicken. Let much to be desired. Sad because I live so close too!

I'm a big Nando's fan but I will never go back to this store again. I ate in & the place was filthy. The table was sticky & the supremo wrap had almost no chicken in it. <br/><br/>To top it off the guy asked me if I was finished my food yet because he was "Closing soon". No mention of this 10 minute before when he served me. <br/><br/>Nando's - This store is letting you down. <br/><br/>

I wouldn't call this "peri peri salted" chips, would you? Got all the way home and I'm Not happy at all... salt costs nothing extra to be added so why be so skimpy I can't taste or see it?

Ever had a craving? I felt like a chicken burger all day and my friend suggested the same thing and talked it up so I was like OMGosh I've gotta have a chicken burger now hahaha<br/><br/>So tonight in a mad dash to get a chicken burger I headed out only to find a number of cafes on bridge road had their kitchen closing at 9pm!! I was there a few mins late! <br/><br/>The only place that I could find was Nandos. And I have not eaten Nandos in such a long time I can barely recall the last time lol<br/><br/>But to my surprise tonight my take away was genuinely ok. I had a chicken wrap, and a burger both of which I enjoyed, with a tangy chilli sauce. <br/><br/>The chips however were disappointingly inedible. They were starchy, undercooked and soggy. <br/><br/>Oh well 2 out of 3 hahaha and at least this place was open! 🙂

Apart from having to take out a second mortgage just to pay for my half chicken and chips the size of the chickens are tiny. Flavours are good and most of the chips were fresh but just horrific value which is why I very rarely eat Nandos

The food is really great and front of house lady i think Riya and very friendly staff , she helped us a lot with various dishes and will visit again. Liked the quality and quantity of food.

One of the best Nando's in Melbourne, we went to this shop 3 times and the quality was very consistent. Chicken was juicy and well marinated. Chips were crunchy and Peri-Peri salt were thoroughly sprinkled on top (at other Nandos we usually have to ask for more salt).

When you find a short and curly in your food you are automatically turned off. Cheeky nandos turned into a cheeky pube fest !!! Probably would steer clear of this one...

Cold chicken and hard burger (@Richmond). Simething seems to have gone wring at this usually pleasant place.<br/><br/>The full chicken was cold/dry from the first bite, wings part looked black, classic burger had too many hard/dry parts, and worst of all, the manager didn't seem to care about any of this.<br/>Have to find another place, I guess?

I've always been a big fan of Nando's but always do leave feeling like I've paid too much for what I've gotten! The staff at this franchise are a nice bunch of guys. The wraps are ok but the chicken BBQ ribs are Yumtastic. The mousse (which I've never seem anyone else buy as it's such a random dish for them to sell) is actually pretty yummy too as it has these little chocolate bits in the inside. Don't eat in on a cold day as the automatic sliding doors keep opening from passerbys on Bridge Rd!

Okay. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the pita was so fresh. But I agree with the other reviews when they say there wasn't too much chicken on my pita. It was a little disappointing but I still LOVE nandos.

$8.95 for 4 small bites of chicken. Ordered the chicken thighs last week for $8.95. They were juicy and tasty, however, looked like 2 thigh pieces divided into 4. Get more chicken in McNuggets at Maccas. Worse, it was more expensive than my wife's quarter chicken dinner.<br/><br/>Walk up the block to Roosters if you want better value. Couldn't feed a 4 year old with the portion size at Nandos.

Too much meat on my bones. For $6.30 I would expect more than a drum stick from an anorexic chicken.

Good Service. For a Nando's outlet, this is a good one and the staff are attentive and efficient.

Thumbs up!. Great chicken, bit too tight on the chips though :(
