What a lovely little gem. Definitely worth visiting, especially on a drive up to the east coast or Launceston from Hobart. Their Honey Cake is delicious and perfectly paired with homemade vanilla cream. Scones are scrumptious too!
Friendly staff. Love The decor too - quaint.
They serve cooked breakfast & lunch too!
Unexpected stop in this lovely eclectic cafe with international flavours of food, coffee and teas. Sunny garden out back with varying degrees of shade from trees. Cool respite indoors or shaded tables on the street frontage. Indoors has a mix of furnishings with all flavours of chairs to choose from. Books and jigsaws to keep kids amused while adults talk. Delicious coffee
Great selection of food and good coffee. Not one "boring" standard dish. Beef ragu, Linguini and risotto were great. So too are the Chippies!
Also had the duck fried rice. Outdoor seating in the sun in winter is great also.
What a lovely cafe in the heart of Richmond! Historic cottage vibe. Great vegan options - we had the mushroom linguine and gnocchi, both were SO delicious! It’s really hard to find a creamy vegan pasta! Highly recommend this place.
Best scones I’ve ever had in my life. Also a really great tea selection and a lovely ambience. Such a good stop while exploring the heritage vibes of Richmond.
Everything is baked and prepared fresh! The freshly baked sourdough bread was delicious in the mushroom fricassee! The HONEY CAKE was an absolute delight, it was light, soft and creamy, the honey drizzle and fresh cream paired perfectly. It is the BEST honey cake my friends and I ever had! Great selection of tea served in silverware and pretty tea cups. The owner Lucy (her talented son baked all the delicious food) is very upbeat and friendly, great recommendations. Thank you for having us at your cafe on our last day in Tasmania. Must come back!!
Absolutely fantastic experience! From garden path out the front, the crackling fireplace, and the wall of vintage pewter teapots that adorns the main dining room. Czegs' Cafe is an absolute must for anyone passing through Richmond.
A hidden gem on the Main Street of Richmond. Unassuming classic cafe with a very cozy interior with lots of tables. Food was a delightful mix of cuisines and we had the duck fried rice and chorizo and chicken risotto. Generous servings and truly delicious food. Loved the collection of silver teapots and service was excellent.
