This has been my go to Cafe for 2 years. The staff are so friendly and attentive and the food delicious, but most importantly the coffee is spot on! đź‘Ś

Friendly and efficient service, a menu that will keeping us coming back for more, and ambience. Ordered burgers, and were very impressed by the freshness of the brioche buns, and perfect condiment to bacon ratio. Oh, and other establishments can learn from these guys how to use music as a mood setter. Perfect play list!

First visit was today. Nice Cozy atmosphere. Indoor and outside seating. Was told about needing to order inside at counter when we got menus. The milkshakes and hot chocolate where delicious - well priced for the size also. Food was yummy and didn't have to wait long either. Would highly reccomend to anyone. I do beleive you have got yourself a new regular - will be back a lot more.

Appalling service. Very disinterested staff. No manners and no menus or water brought to the tables.

I put an ice cream wrapper into her bin she then called me a silly bitch from inside her car not thinking I could hear her. When she got out of her car I asked her what her problem was for her to call me names and she said that she is sick to death of ppl putting rubbish In her bin??? Nice. !!!!

Vanille Blanche resides in a shopfront along a small shopping strip in Ringwood North. It is at the lower end of the dining budget, and while not swank, it is pleasant enough. The décor comprises a polished concrete floor, black walls and ceiling, a weathered wood panel feature wall, a white tiled counter, and another feature wall with stencilled graphics, and sporting repurposed timber crates containing pot plants, jars, old tins and other ephemera. A large stencilled hipster greets you on a wall near the entrance, as does a black motorcycle with sidecar. The table settings consisted of timber tabletops on steel pedestals accompanied by copper-coloured pressed steel chairs. A few stools with a bench invited street views, and there were a few kerbside tables for outside dining. Some low level ambient music proved to be quite pleasant. The menu had fairly standard fare with limited vegetarian options, and no vegan ones, though possibly variations could be requested. I ordered the veggie burger and a coffee, and both were nice, and the meal was well presented. The service was pleasant and welcoming, and I was provided water and a menu upon being seated. Not a bad café at all.

Crap.
1. Charging regular cafe prices, but it is isn’t table service. Had to go inside and ask for menus.

2. I ordered an iced long black, and the waitress gave me a HOT long black (yes, made with boiling water), with ice blocks in it. Funnily enough, these melted straight away. When I returned it, I was met with “that IS an iced long black”. Lose the attitude and learn how to make basic cold coffees.

3. Mum got a can of Coke, this came out with no glass, no ice, no straw, just a can. Have fun putting your mouth all over their dusty storeroom floor coke cans.

4. Food came out at different times. Dads eggs and tomato cake out on a plate, he ate half, then after asking twice for bacon, were told “the bacon is coming” and it came separately five minutes later after he had almost finished and his breakfast was cold.

5. Food was nice. But CHRIST the service is awful.

I work in hospitality, it is not that hard. The cafe wasn’t busy. If you make a mistake, own it. Don’t let your customers wonder where their food is. If you don’t know how to make a drink, google t, or admit it and ask what it is. Serving a hot coffee with ice blocks in it, what the hell man that’s just dumb.

What a waste of money.

Staff was polite. Good coffee. Average ice chocolate. Terrible pastry cream cake, too small and hardly any cream and a bit overpriced. Atmosphere is somewhat sterile and seating is uncomfortable.

We found this gem recently and have been there for breakfast several times. Service has always been friendly and we have been surprised by how quickly the meals were delivered. The size of the serves and the prices make this place one of the best as far as value for money is concerned. Delightful ambience and terrific coffee have made this a favourite.
