Review Leaf & Vine Cafe And Wine Bar - Ringwood

It is a lovely cafe in the neighbourhood. The friendly staff and owner make the dining experience with young kid so enjoyable. We ordered a lamb backstrap, and a kid's ham and cheese. Yummy food, good coffee, quick service and nice atmosphere. I will definitely revisit again. Highly recommended!

We pulled into what we thought was a quiet neighbourhood but as soon as we saw through the windows, the cafe was packed! Our assumption was there was a lot of locals which was great to see. We arrived just before 1pm and didn't get a seat for a few minutes due to it being busy. I had a mocha which was perfect, finishing it just before the food arrived. It was probably one of the best Mocha's I've had recently, so 5 star for the coffee! I had the lamb shoulder which tasted good, well presented but thought it would be much bigger for the price. Overall, it was enjoyable but based off this one experience, the coffee really outweighed the food.

Beautiful little cafe nestled in a suburban street. Food was incredible and the coffee was delicious. It's clear they take the time train their baristas well, which is not found in many places. In terms of areas for improvement, they were quite busy and could have had more staff working to take orders, as we had to catch someone's attention to take our order. But the staff were very friendly and did well. They were just understaffed. Overall, would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back!

Leaf & Vine offers a wonderfully warm and friendly environment for catch ups with friends and family. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was friendly and speedy. I would recommend this charming little cafe to all!

Have been a long time customer and consistently visited Leaf and Vine for takeaway coffee during Covid as I wanted to support small businesses as much as possible. Staff always go above and beyond, particularly the owner/manager who is so lovely and an absolute dream to talk to. Staff are on the younger side and are incredible at their jobs. Very quick service and tasty food. Lovely decor and acoustics of the place. Indoor and outdoor seating available and I believe they are dog friendly in their front of cafe area as I’ve seen dogs in the past, but might be worth double checking. Definitely worth making a reservation ahead of time as they get busy quickly. They also have a liquor license and an accomodating menu for dietary requirements. My most recent visit was on Mother’s Day last Sunday in which they did an amazing job at making the day feel very special. Big appreciation to all the hard work that went into making that day and every other day run smoothly.

Only one visit so far but I thought the food I ordered was lovely. Different textures (suprises) and beautifully presented. The toasted pumpkin bread was nice/not difficult to cut.
Madeline Francis
Absolutely delicious! We had the gnocchi and the Snapper and both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Coffee was best I've had in a while!

Delicious food, glorious coffee and friendly helpful service.

A friend told us about this place - hidden treasure! Beautiful and gorgeous cafe :D Love that they cater for everyone (vegetarian, vegan, gluten etc) I had the smashed avo - perfect! We went on the weekends - the food took so long to bring out almost an hour :( But will go back :)

The best service in Melbourne (and I'm a harsh critic!) plus delicious and innovative meals. Love this place!!
Geoff Thorn
This cafe is definitely the best one around. The food is always delicious, the staff friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. It has become a regular Sunday brunch destination. Love it.
Rachel Baker
Just had an amazing breakfast here! The staff were so welcoming and attentive! There was consistency in who served us as well, it was nice having the same person all morning. The food was delicious and affordable. I had the ricotta hot cakes, OJ & Magic coffee. The coffee is beautiful and strong! They also split the bill for us! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience! I'll definitely be back and tell everyone about your lovely cafe! X

I had somebody come up to me at my weights session & say they had been to Leaf & Vine . They said the food was just fantastic & it was so good they came back for Sunday breakfast. A delightful place where the atmosphere is great too. John Sims

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Leaf & Vine. Went there recently on Cup day. Very busy day so the store was naturally quite full. We were still seated straight away and then placed our orders. We were informed there would be a wait time as the store was so busy which was no problems at all. Food came out a while later but in the meantime, we were constantly checked in on by the very friendly staff. Food was immaculate as always and overall a very satisfying experience.

Friendly staff, delicious breakfast and great coffee!
Highly recommend breakfast here

This is a lovely cafe nestled in the back streets of Ringwood. Parking is easy around the area and the lovely vines make for a nice and inviting entry.

The inside gives a warm and cosy feeling - made to feel right at home. The staff were lovely and accommodating, with service being prompt. The eggs benny, as well as the sweet potato lentil mash with poached eggs went down a treat. You could definitely taste the cumin flavour in the mash. I ordered a side of toast with it to bulk up the meal; the chefs were very generous having 3 slices of toast brought out. Needless to say, I was definitely full.
The courtyard out back looked perfect for the summer nights to come, I would definitely return.

Under cooked and under seasoned.

Eggs Benny:
Ciabatta toast was more ciabatta bread
Poached eggs had the eggs white still mostly translucent inside
Added a potato rosti which was cooked... on the outside and pretty much raw grated potato on the inside
And no seasoning to speak of on the meal

Scramble:
Enough eggs to cover half a piece of ciabatta. Noted that it’s dairy free, but without the cream/butter/milk the ratio of egg to bread left a disappointing meal on plate.

Timing of the drinks:
Hot (Luke warm) chocolate came out and 8 minutes later the English breakfast tea arrived.

Timing of meal:
Order to table was 26 minutes. Reasonably busy but the food was hardly pumping out. Would be good to be told food would be about 30 minutes. Probably too much stress on the kitchen given it’s quite small with only 2 cooks. The seating has certainly been maximised and seems far to many to cater for with quality and timing.
I was annoyed. And impatient. I was told to take a seat anywhere. The kids were Hangry and they really needed to go to the toilet. No one came to take our coffee order. I was well prepared. I had it all planned. I looked up the menu so I can order kiddie’s food and coffee straight away then dash to the toilet. BUT NO ONE CAME TO SERVE US.

I made a decision. 2 yo on one arm, dragging my 4 yo on the other, dragged them to where two ladies are making coffees to order. They ignored me. I dragged them to another waitress l, blurred out my food order and ran to the toilet.

We came back. No one asked us whether we wanted coffee. FIFTEEN minutes after we sat down we got given water. We got our coffee and I got an extra scone to share. By this time my annoyance has reached a boiling point. I have places to go. Things to do. I need my food NOW.

Whoosh. A beautiful, decadent platter landed on our table. Gasps and wows ensues. Annoyance subsided. In front of us was a beautiful breakfast platter. There was egg, avocado, different kinds of bread, procuittio, gherkins, olives, pate, pancakes w icecream, fruit toast w homemade rhubarb and strawberry jam... it’s like a breakfast buffet on my table and it was the most generous breakfast board I have gotten. Yes, it also generate a bit of a #pategate on my Instagram Piggyeatalot (see pic), but everything was delicious.

My scones was also super tasty but to be honest we couldn’t finish it all because everything was just so huge. We did have a good stab at it though and kiddos even grab a few pieces of bread for the road. 🤣. Yes their service was slow and they really need to up their game on that (I wasn’t the only one on the day who thought that. People were chasing up on their orders & they were making mistakes on the orders) but the food more than made up for it.
Was here this morning, the two girls working were really lovely and seemed to bounce off each other. I’m heading to the UK in a week and the waitress was so lovely and told me all the hidden gems she found while living over there. You don’t find a lot of places where servers feel like your friends on your first visit but this girl made me and I’m sure many others feel so special even when it was just the two of them working and so busy!
Trishacol76
Absolutely smashing cafe in Ringwood area. Had to travel a bit to get there, but Leaf & Vine did not disappoint. Staff are friendly, bubbly and genuine. They really go the extra mile to make you feel at home; asking you how you are, chatting with you, the works. I was served by a brunette girl who was lovely and the Barista was beautiful also. The wait for food was short, and tasted amazing. I had eggs Benedict with a hash-brown side. Coffee was also so yummy !! Can’t get over how good the atmosphere was! Will be back!

Just discovered this hidden cafe, which was busy had a nice vibe. The staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating without being intrusive. Even the diners each side of our table were friendly towards us. The food was tasty and 'moreish'. I recommend their capsicum and tomato soup topped with fresh herbs and sour cream. I am not a fan of tomato soup but thought I would give it a try. I am glad I did as it was zesty with a hint of chili. I also recommend their pulled pork gnocchi - also with chili. It was rich, filling but not heavy. Prices are very reasonable. I regret not taking photos of the food for you to see. I live about 40 minutes away but intend to go back. Definitely worth a visit.

My husband and I visited Leaf & Vine for breakfast this morning, hoping to find a new local cafe to enjoy after such positive reviews. Unfortunately, it was not our cup of tea. It is a lovely looking cafe and we received a warm welcome from one of the staff where we were quickly seated and our coffee order was taken. All good so far. After this, we found it hard to hear each other because with concrete floors, music playing and a very flamboyant cashier/staff member who talked so consistently and loudly for the whole front of the cafe to hear, it was impossible to concentrate on our own conversation. This staff member just did not stop talking. He did nothing but stand at the register talking about himself while other staff members bustled about working. He was lovely and chatty to the locals he knew, and other people who needed to pay for their coffees or meals received a very somber quiet reception before he would then continue to talk loudly and warmly to those he knew. The coffees came and they were good, nothing memorable, but good. The food arrived at our table and looked beautiful. We ordered the avo smash and the ricotta pancakes. I found the avo smash tasteless and cold. The dish was so under seasoned, freezing cold kale leaves as if they had been dipped in icy water, and one of my eggs was over cooked. I love me some peas and green beans, but cold ones just put on the toast whole? Meh. I tasted my husband’s pancakes and it was ok, but lacked more than the ‘MasterChef smear’ of berry sauce and needed more of it to prevent a dry mouth feeling. Sorry Leaf & Vine- you did not win us over.....

The pulled pork burger is consistently amazing, the coffee is on point and the staff are great 👌🏼 definitely one of the best cafes in the Ringwood vicinity.

The staff here were wonderful! So friendly and accomodating. My friend had here 1 year old and pram with her and the staff were so helpful and attentive. The food was good as well.
Tanya Olek
Wow! Love it here. Busy as anything this Sunday morning but that’s fantastic, means foods great! We’ll be back as this is our new local go to for brunch!
Joe
First time here and it’s a great venue, loved the atrium out the back with all the natural light :). Ordered the smashed avocado which was very nice. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the kale with peas on dark rye was excellent. Good service and reasonably priced. Would give an extra star if they served fresh juices, :) Will be back 😎

Had breakfast @ Leaf & Vine for the first time this morning and it won’t be the last. Came here with the family and ordered the Eggs Benedict, smashed avo on toast, poached eggs, bacon and baked beans and scrambled eggs with bacon and chorizo. All the eggs were perfect and the bacon was super crispy. Hollandaise sauce was fantastic and coffee was really good. The place was packed and the staff were friendly and professional. Very happy with this cafe and will return soon.

As you walk in, the interior is delightful. I love the little vertical garden wall at the back of the Cafe, with the little vines hanging off. It offers a warm and welcoming light.

For my meal I ordered the smashed avocado. I wasn't really a fan of the ingredients. There was too much peas happening and string beans. I don't think the flavours worked, in fact it was quite bland.

Cons, they ran out of Rosti. They don't make freshly squeezed juice or smoothies to go with your meal. The baked goods are brought in, would love to see some fresh baked delights.

Pros, friendly staff! Reasonable prices. A wide variety of dishes, including the classics. Coffee was nice and they had a pleasant atmosphere.

Definitely will give this place another shot.

A.

Really cute little cafe! Came here on Saturday for breakfast, had the smashed avo. It was nice but I felt like it was lacking a bit of flavour, maybe would be good with some more feta or a better sauce. The staff were all lovely, there was one guy though that was training a new person and was basically yelling while explaining stuff to him 😂😂
Tmp
Incredible, fresh food and fantastic service. Great vibe and clearly popular because the place was packed. The staff were so nice and attentive- we dropped a knife off the table and they came by to swap out a new one within seconds. I had the smashed avo and it was really creative, and full of flavour. Highly recommend!
Caitlin
Really nice :) been here a few times! Really nice coffee, great menu with a good vegetarian selection and the staff are friendly. I will be back.

Great little local cafe with an awesome atmosphere and helpful and friendly staff. Food is pretty nice as well so might come back for more next time

A lovely cafe, the food was yummy and healthy. The service was friendly and helpful. A nice place to go for breakfast or lunch, we would definitely go back

Have been here several times.
Service is excellent, friendly and welcoming.
Whilst we were next to a very noisy group this was the only negative and not the fault of the cafe.
The food was great. Gnocchi was light and delicious.
Good selection of wines and beers
Great coffee.
A real little gem in the suburbs which is doing very well.

Was exited to fry leaf and vine as it is nice and local for us. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed.

They seemed to be understaffed (and I did see an ad for staff on their instagram) so the service we received wasn't ideal. They forgot our coffees thus we had to re-order and wait about 30mins in total for them. Our order also took 50mins to arrive. However staff were apologetic and took the drinks off our bill as an apology. Overall staff were friendly but busy.

Coffee was quite good, 8/10. Food was also nice however on the pricier side for the portion size. But overall food was fresh, tasty and well presented. I believe our experience would be more pleasant in the future once they hire more staff.

This place is devine. Great options for everyone. My toddler loves the chicken strips. And was glad the can accommodate for vegan too. Always busy so much sure you book a table. A hidden gem!! This place is a definite must!

The food and service are always excellent at this lovely, out of the way café. Every meal I've eaten here has been delicious, but the eggs benedict is just divine.

Best cafe!!! Amazing food!!! Lovely Staff!! What more could you ask for, perfect for a brunch session!!
Absolutely love the dark rye bread and smashed avocado such a winner!!!! 😄🍳👌

I was tempted by the ‘Waffles with strawberry and black cherry jumble, macadamia nut and oat crumbs with vanilla ice cream ($16.50)’. I loved the combination of strawberries and cherries with the crunchy macadamia. The silky ice-cream added some extra indulgence.

For a random cafe in Ringwood north, it really surprised me when I first went there. The food is so delicious and so is the coffee. Also, one morning I had to get my three kids out of the house for a while so we went there for breakfast and the staff were amazing, so accomodating and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Had to update my score because we went there for lunch today and the food was so amazing, omg...

Check out the video on wehungry.co

Leaf & Vine, Ringwood

If you are ever looking for a picturesque place to eat, tucked away in a hidden sanctuary, then look no further to Leaf & Vine cafe in Ringwood.

On Panfield Avenue nearby Maroondah Highway/Warrandyte Road intersection you actually wouldn't believe that such goodness existed in such hidden streets.

My initial instinct was that this place would be really quite as its really hidden, oh boy I was so wrong, it was packed from the window to the wall!

I spent sometime with head chef and owner Pete who showed me some of his amazing cooking techniques and how fresh and organic the food and coffee was at the place! Completely amazing!

However, when We Hungry, We have to eat! And Pete decided to whip up for me his pulled pork burger, which sweet potatoes and chipotle mayonnaise. My goodness, I never have had such a satisfying pulled pork burger!

Let alone the beauty of the scenery, the food itself, this really was a match found in heaven!

As I made my way around the amazing feed, the atmosphere was buzzing inside, the service of the waitresses was top notch and I honestly could have spent several hours in their just experiencing the vibe that this place was letting off! Wow!

If you live anywhere near Ringwood, you must go and check this place out, it is totally worth the time and effort!

We Hungry Overall

Food - 5
Service - 4
Atmosphere - 4.5
Price - 4

By far the best cafe in the whole of Melbourne!
The customer serivice is just INCREDIBLE, they are the kindest most geunine people and provide an amazing experience each and every time!

I have been here over 50 times honeslty as the food is unreal to match the customer Service!

Ricotta hotcakes are the best as well!!!

Absolutely fantastic coffee and food fabulous.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. A great find in a side street very busy so book a table. Well worth going this might become my new favorite breakfast place

After completing a 14km run, a friend and I decided to treat ourselves to brunch at Leaf & Vine. Located in a residential part of North Ringwood, I had no idea this café existed until it randomly popped up on my Facebook!. The café looks pretty unassuming from the outside and quite small, but when I walked in I was pleasantly surprised to find a fairly large, buzzing space. It was a bit difficult to get someone’s attention to be seated – they seemed to be a bit ‘run off my feet’ busy. This level of mediocre service was pretty consistent for the whole dining experience. BUT the food and coffee were good, so I was happy to deal with sub-standard service.
Jeremy Drinks Coffee
Been here a couple of times now. Not a bad little shop, a great place to sit and work, nice atmosphere (albeit a little noisy). Unfortunately their coffee is not great, food *is* though. My recommendation is to stick with an iced coffee and some food.
Christine Potter
Great coffee, great food, friendly staff when you see them but you can be ignored. Have been a couple of times and left after not even being acknowledged. Maybe it is because we are new to the area and not accepted as a local yet, I hope not.
Alicia Thorp
New to the area so was delighted when I stumbled across this place taking a shortcut home! I'm all about the brekky and the menu did not disappoint. The food was beautifully presented, well balanced and reasonably priced. The coffee was solid and the staff were lovely.

Would come back just for the customer service, staff were super friendly and helpful.
Meals were decently priced and arrived swiftly on our table, throughly enjoyed out meals and coffee.

You must be very keen trying to look and find this establishment. in the outer suburb of Melbourne.

Just on n their Coffee and Sweets alone ....

Yes, it's not in the main drag or esplanade of cafes and restaurants, it's near a school, school mothers and fathers must be their target market.

So, what are the two men are doing here in the afternoon?
We are not doing the school pick up .... just on a hunting expedition for great Coffees and Sweets. Although we did not find them extraordinary, but the dinner menu seems very attractive.

We must make an effort to come back at some stage.
There's a great ambiance about this place, great set up and very friendly service.

It's one of those place where you can spend hours inside, whether be working away from home or enjoying their many offering.
Mr Killer
Thank you to the other reviewers. I would never have found this café otherwise. Nestled, or should I say hidden in a totally random back street of Ringwood, my only complaint, as always, was being served warm water. That aside our meal was absolutely delicious, coffee and juice superb and once again found one of those waitresses that you would like to keep with you always she was that brilliant. Thank you Leaf and Vine... it was a delight.
Jeffrey Leong
Grabbed brunch here and was pleasantly surprised with my experience. Ordered the pancakes which were great, and coffee was pretty good. Impressed with the staff and how attentive they were in regards to removing plates, checking up on us and asking if we would like more coffees. I will be back!

I've been here on 3 occasions and left extremely happy on all occasions. Beautiful fun and open decor. Friendly staff. Coffee is great and the chef knows how to mix flavours well! Highly recommend!! p.s bring back the bake beans! Loved them!
Zoe
Everyone raved about this place so had to give it a go.. Average food. Ordered the smashed avo and it was really bland. Nothing to it! The staff weren't really interested or engaged. Friend ordered a muffin and that was pretty yum so not all bad. Probably just ordered the wrong thing..
Kat
Great coffee, great food, friendly staff....Such a great find! You're hard pushed for options in the Ringwood area when it comes to cafe's with a more contemporary feel, and from menu through to decor through to staff this place nails it! Felt like I could have been in Carlton or Brunswick. Will definitely become a local regular.

Found this little gems close to home, and will definitely be heading back soon! Bubble and squeak poached eggs were amazing and I tasted the lamp pizza which was also really good. The home made cakes looked yummy, I want to try these next time! Cool vibe in an urban setting, amazing food and really friendly staff to top it off 👌

Had a wonderful afternoon at this place. Fantastic quality food and service served with those extra special touches that set this cafe apart from others in the area. Has the look and feel of the popular inner city cafes where people wait 30+ mins for.
Will be back!
Mike B
Lovely café. Worth a visit of you are in the neighbourhood.

Visiting friends. Coffee turned into a light lunch. Really friendly and very good food in a strip mall. Go figure.

There are literally scores of very good cafés in Melbourne that do a similar menu. But mostly in the inner suburbs. Leaf and Vine have a mortgage on this area and do a very good job of breakfast all day. A special of slow cooked lamb on Turkish flatbread with tzatziki and Pecorino sounds a conflict of cultures but worked really well. Ice cold Cockies Pale Ale. Nice lunch. Recommended if you live close.

Last week I went to a fairly new cafe (less than a year old) that I had not even known about! Leaf and Vine in Ringwood has been opened since late last year and for some reason went under my radar.. Well not anymore!. It was a beautiful day in Melbourne, the sun was shining and it was a pleasant walk to the cafe. It was such a glorious day that I decided to take Miss 3 and a half with me to enjoy the sun and have some lunch. When we approached Leaf and Vine it looked very fancy and had a beautiful outdoor sitting area. When entering I was impressed with the selection of wines, the cool lights, art work and open kitchen where you could see the chefs at work. Also towards the back there was more seating and a shelf of coffee products to purchase, which is always cool, right?
FoodHunter
Leaf and Vine ticks all the boxes for a good café. Great food and coffee! Excellent service and environment. My partner and I simply love this place!

Having a quality cafe in our neighborhood simply make my life better :) the food is absolutely fantastic and coffee is great! Beautiful environment and friendly staff, highly recommended!

Yarra Valley meets Ringwood..
This place is top notch! Not only does it look amazing but the food taste even better! Unfortunately Im not a massive fan of Genovese coffee as most larger companies are outdated.
On a high note the benedict is just awesome, the quality here has really exceeded my expectations.
Emma Rigby
Lunch time at Leaf & Vine was anything but average! Lamb backstrap was the best lamb I've ever had! My mum had the chicken burger and she too said it was the best she's ever had. Great service and coffee, surprising little find in Ringwood. Will be back!

Eating here is a MUST. Have eaten here quite a few times and it just keeps getting better. Staff are all friendly and professional and delightful. Orders and service of food is quick, so you won't have too long to wait to eat. I had the 'cassoulet style' chorizo, bacon, white bean in tomato sauce (plus other additions) topped with two perfectly poached eggs and slices of super soft bread to mop up the sauce. Watch for the fresh HOT chillies
Falling_dawn
Very enjoyable. Lovely staff , tasty food, nice coffee, I had the rosti with poached eggs and asparagus it had a tasty relish and the poached eggs were cooked well, partner had chocolate pancakes, said they were light and airy, but did not think they had much chocolate flavor, but the raspberry sauce was good - all round quite enjoyable

Review. Food presentation, beautifully plated, staff very pleasant, our waitress had a great memory ,didn't write down any orders ( there were 7of us) and got the orders all correct, impressive, food looked inviting and was very tasty!!! Will return and try breakfast
Ben
Absolute cracker of an establishment, and open Sundays. Open since October 2014, checked out this gem today after not being able to get a park near another new place. Think we will come here as the first choice next weekend, a great establishment going here with an inspiring menu, nice coffee and relaxing atmosphere. Staff all very nice and accomodating of our recently expanded family.
Muffins very large and relatively healthy. Poached eggs nice. When have more time next, will try smashed avo.

Had never heard of this place until I stumbled upon it on here and I am very thankful I did. First impressions were excellent as the staff were super friendly and the place looks great! I had the gypsy eggs with red onion, chorizo, butter beans and ham. Serving size was generous and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place.
Chocolatelily1962
Perfect. Great cafe that has got every thing right from the beginning. Fresh delicious food, the best coffee and buzzing atmosphere. Best of all though, it is one shop up from my beauty therapist, and next to my hairdresser, who's businesses are not what I would describe as nondescript!
Pbear55
Fantastic food, beautifully presented and just the right portion size. The staff were notable for their friendliness and professionalism - no tude here - and speedy service.

Minor point of feedback was that there was no big brekkie or veggie brekkie option and it would have been v exxy to get the equivalent as sides/extras.

Just as good, if not better than equivalent bruncheries such as two brothers and chapter too.

Will definitely return and recommend

Excellent fare lovely people. The Leaf & Vine is a great place for (me) Sunday morning (holiday) breakfast (late) Bacon & Eggs on Sour Dough toast. We travel from Mount Waverley to the Leaf &Vine and it is well worth the trip.
John & Trish

Fantastic new cafe in North Ringwood!. I discovered Leaf & Vine when I was searching on Urbanspoon. They have only been open 5 weeks and have not started advertising as yet. Funnily enough, they are a stone's throw from my sons' high school, but because they are set at the end of a small group of nondescript shops in a residential street, you would never know the café is there unless someone told you about it. But gosh, this café is a treasure!!! It is hip & modern, has a great menu, a lovely ambience (great music!) and delightful staff. It would not be out of place in the inner suburbs. What I loved was the open frontage - lots of natural light and fresh air, the relaxed vibe, the well-spaced tables, the open kitchen at the back, the cakes that looked homebaked. And the food? I had the BEST vegetarian toasted focaccia I have ever had (and I've tried quite a few). It was so light and fresh, and you could really taste the avocado - absolutely yum. And my cappuccino was really good. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, not an ounce of pretentiousness here, just really good food and service. I can't wait to go back!

A classy cafe in Ringwood.. A fabulous experience, the Chef and Staff are friendly and professional. The food is superb, we all chose different Breakfast dishes, presentation, fabulous, taste, exquisite. We will recommend and return often, all present were very impressed.Happy to recommend.

Hidden gem of the eastern suburbs! Staff were lovely and well presented. The cafe was clean, modern with a great relaxed atmosphere. At no point during breakfast did the cafe become too noisy- which was brilliant. The menu had a good range to suit many tastes. We chose the smashed avocado with peas, beans and poached eggs on dark rye and some soardough toast with home made jam. Both meals were very generous with size and delicious as was the coffee.
Definitely recommend this lovely cafe tucked away in Ringwood.

Great, simple and fresh cafe in ringwood.
Coffees were great, the food was beautiful, we had pancakes and French toast, presented simplistically yet beautifully done, was delicious (and we even got a free serving of caramel sauce from the chef!). The layout is nice, there is a full view of the chef and the kitchen and a minimalistic design throughout, very fresh and clean design throughout. Just what this area of ringwood needed! Great job to the leaf and vine cafe!

Lovely and Quaint. Just a beautiful vibe, food was exquisite and the staff were lovely. Could not have come to a better cafe, my only regret is not knowing about this place earlier.
We are coming here every week!

Incredible new cafe!. This cafe is brilliant! The design is beautiful, the food was incredible (easily the best eastern suburbs eat I've had!) and the service was very friendly! Will definitely be back
