Had a fantastic dinner tonight. Everything was flavoursome, just the right amount of spice and heat.
Defintely the best Thai restaurant in the Outer Eastern suburbs.
We have been eating here for a long time now. The food is very good and equal to eating in Thailand.
The staff are warm and friendly.
Ute is an obliging and lovely guy who is genuinely interested in his customers and wants to please.
We love the red duck curry, Tom Yum fried rice, chicken skewers and pad Thai.

The food here is amazing . Ute makes all his own sauces and uses fresh ingredients . The clear soup as an appetiser is a nice touch . Serves are a good size and are value for money . This was our third visit and it has never disappointed .

We ordered on deliveroo (chosen essentially as it was the only Thai restaurant on deliveroo), wait time was reasonable and food was still hot upon arrival. I had a beef pad see ew which was a generous serve albeit predominantly noodle. Hubs had the chicken cashew nut which he wasnāt as impressed with. Roti and peanut sauce was yummy
We found the food excellent, very good quality, with particularly good sauces. The lamb curry, whole barramundi and stir fried chilli and basil prawns were particularly good. Desserts were outstanding - chocolate and chilli pudding, lime panacotta and raspberry and lemon sorbets were amazing. One of our group is coeliac and was pleased to be able to have the green curry with chicken and the sorbets. It is a big place and gets pretty noisy. Not really enough staff, they were working hard but barely managing. The staff member who seemed to be āthe bossā was totally on the ball but the others were a bit vague and couldnāt really answer questions. We will definitely be back but may try for a less busy time.
Had dinner here over the weekend, and really enjoyed most of the food that we ordered, with the massaman curry being lovely and creamy, and the mixed entrees all being very flavourful. The only downside was the Tom yum fried rice which we found a bit too pungent.

This was a great suburban option for some great Thai food! Perfectly shared between 4 people (3 entrees, 3 mains & sides). The service was lovely and the atmosphere quite nice, it was relatively busy but we booked in advance. The portions were definitely large and this was a lot for 4! Great to have a choice of spice level as well!
Staff was very friendly but some of them did't understanding what we are asking so we have to asked few times. We used 4 for $79 groupon deal. It was end up very good deal as We could choose any 2 entree, 2 curry, 2 stir fried, 2 noodles, 2 dessert.Ā The portion was generous size.
We left it oder the desert in the end which was 9:30pm and They have told us the kitchen was close so we couldn't have the proper desert and only ice cream was available so that was bit of downside.
Dined here last night for the first time using a Groupon voucher for 2.
We shared a tasting platter, curry, stir fry, noodle dish, rice and dessert.
This voucher also included a glass of wine each.
The restaurant was spacious, tables had more than enough room and nicely spread out not like many other Thai restaurants where you are almost touching elbows with the person on another table.
Staff were lovely. Food was delicious. Couldnāt fault the flavors and the size! We ended up taking home our left overs.
So far, I have enjoyed my experience at this Thai restaurant.

Came here twice in a week with two seperate groups that both agreed on the food being very tasty and fresh and reasonably fast.
Staff are always watchful for any extra meals or drinks required. Price is reasonable as well.

We had the best experience last night at this restaurant, the staff were friendly, but the food was awesome, I must say I haven't enjoyed a banana fritter like the way they do it, before, just thinking about it makes my mouth water a real must try. So yourself a favor and giant enjoy a meal at Thai Ute.
Dined for dinner last night, we shared the massaman curry & jungle pork belly with coconut rice & roti. Food was delicious with lovely spicy flavours & well presented. Service was friendly. Will definitely return to try other menu items.
Best Thai Iāve had. So fresh and delicious, plenty of meat in the curries. Am now a repeat customer. I made the mistake of ordering for somewhere else local tonight at it was soooo terrible. It really made reinforced to me how good you guys are. Now I just feel sick and annoyed that I didnāt order from you tonight!
We got takeaway from here on a Tuesday night. The restaurant itself is very small and cozy. We got a number of dishes and very much enjoyed all of them. The curry puffs were very yum, much bigger than all the other Thai places we've been to. We got a Pad Kee Mao and a Pad See Ew, they were both delicious. Make sure to note that if you ask for spicy, it will be VERY SPICY, we almost couldn't eat it due to how spicy it was. We also got a Green Curry with Coconut Rice which was nice, it had lots of veggies. They gave us a free Fried Rice which tasted amazing (so good that I may actually order it next time) and some clear soup. Overall, the food was great and good value for money. This is our go to place for Thai food.

What a find this tiny little Thai restaurant is! Tried it for the first time last night, I rang though my takeaway order: homemade Spring Rolls, homemade Curry Puffs, Chicken Green Curry with vegetables, Massaman Beef Curry with potato & pineapple, Popcorn Chicken with rice & egg on top, coconut rice, Roti with Satay Sauce and it was ALL delicious! Weāve eaten a lot of Thai food over the years so weāre a bit picky but we loved the food from Thai Ute, particularly the Beef Massaman Curry, the meat was very tender. Servings are very generous, curry containers filled to the brim (plastic wrap under the lid to prevent spillage). And thereās more! Because we spent over $50 they gave us a free large Fried Rice, which is very generous! Mini containers of homemade sauces (plum, sweet chilli, Satay) were included, plus a small container of what looked like a clear soup broth. So much food and excellent value. The restaurant is tiny but has 4 small tables, itās quite cute. Staff are very friendly and very efficient, I was really impressed. Weāve found our new favourite local Thai restaurant!
We ordered a selection of entrees last night including spring rolls, curry puffs, salt and pepper squid, chicken satay, vegetable tempura and prawn rolls and with our order, we were given free fried rice with chicken. It was all very tasty and the batter was lovely and crispy. Will try other dishes when weāre next in the area.
Best Thai takeaway we've had in a while, definitely best we've had delivered ever in Kilsyth. Ordered through Menulog and got 20% off for first order. Delivered really quickly - much quicker than expected. Got the red duck curry and chicken with chilli and basil. Good serving sizes. The curry and the stir fry were both delicious - fresh and full of flavour. Vegetable spring rolls were only okay. $40 (including 20% off) for the two mains, two serves of rice and a serve of spring rolls delivered.
Well priced and generous serves ... haven't had a bad meal yet. Ā Highly recommend the Larb Gai and Moo Krob. Ā The appetisers are delicious and generous in size.
Food, service and staff are of the highest quality. When dinning in, service is amazing, chef and his staff always take the time for a chat. Penang curry and the dragon balls are to die for, takeaway and home delivery have also been of the highest standards!
The best of a bunch of good Thai restaurants in the area. Great spring rolls, love the money bags and the Pad see ew is a constant go-to. Well run by great people with a heart to serve.
Fantastic food. We keep coming back again and again. The Masaman chicken and the pork belly dish are exceptional and delivery is usually prompt. Much better than your usual local Thai restaurant! Less half a star because the roti doesn't travel especially well - but that's our fault for ordering just from home.
Competes with the authentic food you eat when in Thailand. Not all dishes are your standard 'western Thai' dishes but those which Thai people actually eat. A great place for take away... I highly recommend!
Great unique Thai food! My wife and I eat here regularly and love so many of the dishes. My favourite is the red Thai curry - mostly because of the added excitement of finding a lychee in there! Sweet meets spicy! Can't recommend this place enough!
I LOVE Thai Ute. Simple and Complex flavours. I could eat the Massamun Curry every day of the week. The staff make each visit feel like visiting family. Worth the bit of a drive if you have to.
Have ordered takeaway for dinner with friends a few times now. This week for 7 of us. Probably the best phone order experience I've ever had - super clear, friendly, confident service. The dishes were on time and as ordered, but with bonus veg soup thrown in - seems to be a regular thing with takeaway orders! The slowcooked beef massamun is insanely good, and the curry puffs were a favourite with our group of friends (in contrast to other reviews - they were very flavoursome!). Tofu in the veg stirfry was really nicely done, and I would go back just for pad see eaw - so so yum. The chef/owner Yut is obviously passionate about his craft, always smiling and puts his heart into it! According to their website they also prioritise local produce. It's cosy inside if you're eating in, but I can't wait to see these guys expand!
Ordered from menulog and the food arrived earlier than the estimated time. Coconut rice was amazing! The curry puffs and Pad Thai could have had a little more flavour, but all in all I found this restaurant to have decent quality food and prices. Will buy from them again

Very nice Thai food. Reasonable price. Great friendly staff. I usually get a complimentary soup with most of dishes that I ordered. Depending on the day, sometimes you get extra complimentary tea or snacks, especially when you become regular customers.

We have really enjoyed Thai Ute and are blessed to live nearby and have such a gem in our neighbourhood to go to for a nutritional,tasty,fresh and friendly dinner which in our experience has been consistently good.The food is consistently good,great flavours,authentic and original flavours like lychee,chilli and bamboo shoots all balanced out really well in each dish.Thai is one of our favouriteĀ cusines and we have eaten a lot of itĀ over the years,Ā two of our go to items on Thai Ute menu are theRed curry with chicken - probably one of the best we've tasted, good quality meat and nice amount of fresh vegetables.and,The fish cakes are always great,nice amount ofĀ chilliĀ Ā and really tasty hard to find better in Melbourne.Also recommend the Massaman curry and the fried rice with pineapple.Great work Ute and your team - we love recommending your place to our family and friends!
Fantastic food!! Just delicious melt in your mouth Massaman curry and a delicious Pad See Ewe too. Can't wait for the dine-in to be available. There are some chairs/tables but not many yet.
Hidden gem!!! Cool funky little place with amazing fresh food. I love Thai and I'm struggling to think of a better Red Curry, lots of really fresh veggies and Lychee (traditionally) which explodes with a burst of fresh tang to balance the chilli...wow!! The owner and chef is "ute" yep as in the car, great guy, passionate about food and people it shows!! I'll be back

Let me start by saying that Thai cuisine is one of my favourites.
Ute the new owner of this cute little place has a gift for preparing this food. I've eaten loads of Thai in my time and worked in two Thai kitchens, so I feel I am qualified to rate his food a 5.0.
I'm blessed to live close by so I will be working my way through the menu of this recently opened Thai take-away.
Let's start with a couple of my favourites.
The Red Curry with Chicken. Classy, deep flavours, quality chicken breast meat, zucchini, eggplant and green beans.Ā Plus all the finishing touches such as bamboo shoots, fresh basil and even lychee.
Pepper Beef. Yummy tender meat. Lots of vegetables in the dish. Capsicum, broccoli, carrot and onion.Ā
