We came here for yum cha on a Sunday afternoon. Incredibly friendly service, the food was so fresh and delicious with a great variety. The staff were so welcoming and knowledgable, the best customer service I have received in a long time. We will absolutely be back again, this is our new go to restaurant!
Went today for yum cha to celebrate a birthday the food was great and service was fantastic everything was explained to us as it was the first time we had been there and had yum cha. Thank you to Erica for the wonderful service you gave us today including the joking around it was fantastic to have. We will definitely be back �
Enjoyed the banquet we had last night. Very friendly service and our waiter Arthur couldn't have been more attentive, I think one of the nicest waiters we have come across in a long time. The food fresh and hot and beautifully presented. I was surprised that the dishes weren't just put in the middle of the table and help yourself they were individual plates with several dishes for each of us. Couldn't fault our experience even meet the Chef who also was very friendly and a delight to talk too.
Food was scrumptious! The sizzling lamb was the best I've had in ages, and as always the staff were really friendly!

I stumbled on this hidden gem after the dumpling place was closed . Certainly glad I found them !
Service was outstanding ! Erica who served me was not only engaging and personable she offered excellent customer service . Her reccomendation of the sweet & sour pork did not dissapoint! The fried rice we ordered was AMAZING!!!!!!!! Chock full of yummy ingredients and lots of flavour . The siu mi and prawn dumplings were full of flavour .
I was just getting take out but we will be back to eat in - and because it was my first visit they gave me a $10 voucher to come back and enjoy their restaurant ! Can't wait to do that !
Staff were fabulous who I met and the restaurant was excellently presented, very tidy very clean and very well appointed.
So glad I stumbled on this gem because I'm dying to go back !!!

The service is always friendly, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, the prices just right and the food delicious.

This restaurant is my number #1 when it comes to great Chinese I have been going here for as long as I can remember. They were gracious to let me hold my nanas surprise 70th birthday here with over 40 guests. Was a great day, and all ran very smoothly!
Very good food. Slightly on the expensive side and the menu doesn't have a wide range. But rather have quality over quantity.
If you live in the area, it's definitely a good place to try some decent yum cha food.
This place does great Yamcha lunch. Most of the yamcha place are pre made wagon going around the restaurant but this place could order what you like and make fresh one. very spacey and fast service.

Dined here last Wed night as a table of 4. Used to come here quite regularly when I was a kid over 20 years ago for family dinners so nice to see the place is still around and doing well. For entrée I had the chinese sausage (childhood favourite) and it tasted just as I remember it. Other entrées ordered were chicken lettuce delight and prawn dumplings. For main we shared the prawns with ginger/shallot sauce, Cantonese eye fillet steak and Mongolian lamb (special) with vege fried rice. For dessert one diner ordered the mango pudding and another banana fritter. Whilst the food was all tasty and we enjoyed everything we ordered, the timing of the food coming out was disappointing. My entrée came out first and after I’d finished my entrée the other 2 entrees came out – we were only a small table of 4 so easy to have all meals ordered come out together. With our mains the prawns came out first, then the vege fried rice and the lamb a little while later. We all had nearly finished our 2 mains and rice when we had to ask where is our final 3rd main – we can only assume they forgot this one but as we were still hungry we waited and let our fried rice go cold and then had cold rice with our fresh hot main, the Cantonese steak. Again it would have been better to get all 3 mains with nice hot fried rice all together. Service was friendly but could have been more attentive. Overall was nice to return here after so long.

My business colleague George and I discovered this place totally by accident about 6 months ago when looking for a place to have a business lunch in the Ringwood area. The food is fantastic and incredibly reasonably priced. Helen is your go to person there and she will make sure you are well looked after by the staff all of whom are very friendly and quick to respond.
I am now a weekly lunch regular and have entertained several friends and customers there with great success.
The yum cha is as good as the best in the Melbourne CBD and I am sure you will find the ordering method quite quaint but it ensures that the food is freshly cooked and served hot and has not been sitting on some old trolley for the past 45 minutes. Three dishes that are my favourite there are the Whitebait (melts in your mouth), the Peking Duck (generous serves with lots of flavour) and the Deep Fried Spicy Puffs (or footballs as most people call them).
Their wine list is perfectly adequate and if you want you can do BYO, there are at least two bottle shops about 200 metres from the restaurant on the other side of the Highway. Also, there always seems to be plenty of parking available close by, located just off the main road.
This beats anything that you will find in the Eastland shopping complex, better food, better service and a better price.

I am really not sure why there is so much negativity here. I have been to this restaurant on many occasions and we love it. The decor is very nice and clean and very original Chinese decor. There are a lot of Chinese people that dine here which says 'a lot' about the food.
I have been to quite a few Chinese restaurants around the area and none are better than this one. The portions are large and the food is yummy.

The restaurant is located in a small group of shops along Maroondah Highway in Ringwood. White stone wall meet you in the entry with two elephants, which at the front door brings good luck, protection and strength to the restaurant.
We were seated right next to the two large fish tanks that run alongside the entry, the positioning of the tank is because, water represents the flow of wealth and abundance into your establishment. These two tanks are very clean and with some healthy large gold fish in them
The tables are a cherry vanished with a cherry lacquer tables and solid wooden chairs. All the tables are set ready for the days service. Burgundy floral wallpaper dominates the room that gives the room a sense of richness that is broken up by the two large TV units on different walls and the large Chinese style painting. I am thinking that the TV is there for the people who don’t wish to communicate with their other diners.
The ceiling is black that encloses the room and would look better if it was a lighter color. There are large bronze / yellow pendant lights around the room with a few down lights and some Chinese lantern style wall lights to illuminate this well lit room. There is a beautiful large Chinese urn in the centre of the room and a Yucca plant in each corner of the room. There was piano music in the background a well stocked bar. The waiter that served us was polite, helpful and at tentative.
Toilets were clean with new floor tiles but the cubical that I went into the seats was broken and needing replacement.
We ate from the their Yum Char list selecting some entrées selecting prawn and chive triangle, steamed pork bun, vegetable spring roll, prawn & pork steamed with ginger & spring onion and steamed rice. All the food was tasty, hot straight from the kitchen, cooked in clean oil and we found to be ample for the two of us for lunch, we will return.
The yum cha is really good! I love they made by order so when the food comes out is all fresh and hot. The service is great, probably coming in a quiet time. Would definitely come over again

This is our go to yum cha place on the weekends. Food is always good and staff is generally friendly. We love this little gem and this place deserves a lot more business!!
Surprised and satisfied. Whilst the yum cha items aren't typical HK flavours (ngau to with satay sauce, and fung jao with a lightly spiced sauce) it was still quite tasty. The siu mai was especially different to the usual flavours, but it was a nice change. The restaurant obviously caters for banquets as they have a number of large table. The decor was a step up from your usual chinese restaurant, but still typically cantonese chinese. It was refreshingly clean and the service could not be faulted. Not a bad option if you're in the area and want yum cha
Chicken Feet. If you're not grossed out by the thought of eating chicken feet and find it appetizing, then this is your restaurant. A must try especially when ordering from their yum cha menu. The succulent and flavoursome claws are cooked in the normal garlicky-black bean way with the gelatinous skin peeling off the bone. Another favourite is the congee which is served piping hot in a generously portioned bowl. Don't expect staff to be wheeling around food carts with lukewarm dumplings. The food is tasty and made fresh. The yum cha menu is limited but has the usual suspects. A must try for people in the Ringwood area.
Yum Cha REALLY GOOD !!. I grew up eating yum cha every weekend and nowadays I find it difficult to find a place that serves Yum Cha that really stands out. This is one of those places. I have been here 4 times for Yum Cha and have had nearly every dish on the Yum Cha menu. I could go on about why nearly every dish is good but it is better that you experience it yourself. Prices are higher than your usual yum cha places but the dishes are prepared as you order them, not carted around. Food is comparable to Tao Tao House and Red Emperor, which are my other favourite Yum Cha places.
Dinner is good but not to the same lofty standards of their yum cha. We still come here when we have a craving for chinese food and are looking a for a special night out. It is a bit expensive for a fast meal.
Service at Yum Cha and Dinner is a bit unattentive as the wait staff don't make eye contact. But don't let that put you off, try the Yum Cha it is quite extraordinary.

Went there for yumcha on a weekend and was very quiet only had a few tables of customers. Very odd location. Inside was very classy. We had to order dim sims from an order sheet and the menu wasn't extensive. The dim sims or dumplings were very good quality and came out quickly. But it was expensive!
Highly recommended. We went there for lunch mid week and had a truly wonderful Yum Cha experience. Food was obviously made fresh and on the premises, nothing frozen here in boxes from Costco. We thought the size of the restaurant amazing and beautifully decorated. Waitress did not have very good English but we got everything we ordered, hot and served at just the right speed. Yum Cha should not be rated on service as it is fast and efficient,with not a lot of interaction needed, but our waitress was lovely and very attentive. Not hard to find if you know where to look, near Auto Pro in Ringwood. We will be going back but with a larger group for Sunday lunch.

This place is a hidden gem. Next to a snow shop and motorbike shop you'd miss it if you blinked. Amazing food and fantastic prices. The yum cha is an absolute must. Have been here 4 times with many more to come!
Love this place.. If you want authentic chinese then look no further. This is by far one of the best Chinese restaurants i have been to. The ambient dining room is spaceous and staff are very friendly and helpful. I keep going back for more even if it is a 20 minute drive away.
Unassuming but Excellent.. At the end of a suburban strip shopping centre, flanked by auto accessory and motorbike shops, this place is a hidden treasure. The unassuming entrance opens into a surprisingly large, orientally decorated room. Service is polite, attentive and friendly. Our party opted for Yum Cha. This was cooked to order, and delivered appetisingly hot, not dispensed from the ubiquitous carts, seen travelling slowly with the luke warm offerings that pass for Yum Cha in other establishments. The menu is extensive, tasty and reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.
Absolutely love this place. Tasty, delicious, fresh food, excellent service & reasonable prices. We order takeout from here at least once a fortnight. Definitely can't go past the Sweet & Sour Pork. Overall a solid 10/10.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The BEST Chinese food I have had in ages! Excellent food - fresh ingredients, amazing flavours and presentation, and a good selection on the menu. The service from the staff was great, and we selected a few dishes from their recommendations and the food was incredible.
I dined there on a Saturday night, and can't understand why it was not packed with a queue out the door!
