Consistently great food, love their chips and potato cakes. Always fresh and seems like fresh oil unlike some places the chips taste off. Will continue to go here while we can!

First time buying from here, bought the "meat pack" lamb chips and galic sauce "strange thing i know to buy from a fish and chip shop" but ive had things like this from other places before and it be mazing!, Where do i start? lamb is full of gristle, not great at all, some of the chips felt like they where raw, but the price and size of the server 15 bucks waste of money, sorry guys it was really bad

Not sure what has happened but they have gone from amazing fish and chips to the worst. half the chips were over cooked and the other half raw and hard, completely inedible. Fish was also over cooked and dry. The shop wasn’t even busy and going by other recent reviews this isn’t a once off.

chips are mostly good but sometimes they don't put enough salt on them or the chips are a bit soggy but they have got very good chips when they get it right

I love these fish and chips, would have to be the best in the area, I have been coming to this shop for over 30 years, although the shop has changed hands the product has stayed the same. One of the few remaining shops with hand made chips and potato cakes. For my work i drive all around the eastern suburbs and have tried many F&C shops, most shops sell those horrible frozen yellow powdery chips, I hope they keeping making there own!

Excellent burgers we travel for these... The Burger in the pic is my custom, they are one of the few that stock sweet chilli sauce. The burgers in this shop have NEVER disappointed, the Quality is ALWAYS there, as os the freshness. (Side note : requesting uncooked onions makes a HUGE difference to taste) This place is always willing to please and the quality shows with every bite...

My favourite fish and chips in the area. It's a bonus I live within walking distance. Been our regular fish and chips for many years. They hand cut their chips. Always well cooked.

Just ordered $5 chips, 5 potato cakes and a veggie burger. Burger and potato cakes were acceptable but the chips were quite possibly the worst I’ve had in recent memory. Likely cooked in burnt oil, they were soggy, stuck together and discoloured - no amount of salt or sauce could cover this up! Please check out some of the other shops and improve and your cooking!

Ordered from here off of Menulog and received what was a very disappointing meal. Majority of the food was cold which I thought strange as the delivery was quite quick. The worst part about this though, was the souvlaki my partner ordered. Hardly any filling, it was thar small he could hold it between his two fingers. We had to order more food about 2 hours later from somewhere else as he was still hungry.

Hands down best fish and chips around Eastern suburbs!! They make their own chips!!!! Not frozen. Seriously the nicest chips I’ve had in years. Friendly staff and proud of what they cook. Only chip shop I know that doesn’t use prepackaged frozen chips from a plastic bag!

I have been buying food from this shop since 1967, I love the hamburgers with the lot and the hot dogs in batter, the current owners are friendly and nice to deal with

Easily the best fish and chips in the area. Been here 10 years and no other place compares. Flake is tender with a nice crunchy batter and chips are always well cooked. <br/><br/>Had the burger a few times and also tasted great. <br/><br/>Very quick service

One of the better fish and chip shops around, however there are so many bad ones, it does not mean a lot. The burgers are pretty good here with the buns done right. The grilled fish is good, the fried fish is good fish with soggy batter. The scallops are good, the potato cakes are good, the chips are ok. Ask for extra salt if you want it. Very quick service.

So bad. Chips undercooked and under salted. The looked and tasted grey and horrible. Honestly the worst I have ever had. Fish was okay, a little soggy.
