Review Pacos Tacos - Ringwood

Y Grant
The food was so yummy and fresh. The calamari taco was the absolute bomb and so fresh... the beef on the Nachos was so tender. The kids meals were so well priced, great value for money. We sat outside and it is a nice atmosphere out there. It wasn't to busy, but if it were packed it would be squishy. The service was fine, nothing outstanding but we got the right order and everything was delivered quickly and tasty.. I'd recommend giving it a go for sure.

Had the beef burrito bowl. The beef was tender and overall the dish was filling and looked ok. Wasn't anything special, average Mexican. Service was alright. They do not accept Liven anymore even though it's available to select via the app. Fairly clean and decor gives a good atmosphere.

Very nice looking restaurant. Was told to sit wherever and use qr code to order online. The menu was a bit expensive especially they're charging kirk's softdrink for $4 that everyone knows is like the cheapest drink anyone can buy. The burrito was very plain. Looks great but just no flavour. My parter said salsas and guzmans are more tastier. I did warn him other reviews said the same about it not being anything particularly great here. The tacos were great 👍 I wish I could order more but where overpriced in my opinion. The calamari was top! The beef was soft and good too. The corn was bomb too. Totally recommend the 3.

Amazing variety of authentic Mexican food and drinks. Beef Taco is a must try

Worst Nachos I ever had, burrito wasn’t much better. The GYG in shopping center is better and cheaper. The Nachos had excessive amount of sour cream, but didn’t have any guacamole. Had to pay extra $5 for guacamole which was very runny and lemony. The very salty salsa didn’t balance well with the sweet corns in the nachos.
Sabrina Leung
Glad that they had a vegan menu and all that but the burrito bowl I had was average. Didn’t have as much taste as typical big Mexican restaurant chains despite having so many things in it. But the place looked really colourful and pretty. Most staff were really friendly too. Oh and there was a lot of guacamole which was great.

The main waitress at the door 10 mins ago was extremely rude and snappy and didn’t bay an eyelid when the door closed on me while I was at the door way - was the worst customer service experience denying me and my mum from dining despite having proof of vaccination. The lady here needs to be sacked.
David (Dave_AU)
Awesome tacos, speedy service, great margaritas... What's not to love. Carnitas is a particular fave, and my wife loved the mushroom with jalapeños.
Sebastian Llobera
Although food is not completely terrible. The service and attitude of the servers was appalling. What’s the point of going to a place and be treated like you are bothering them if the food is not exceptional!!
Kirsten McMillan
Service was EXCELLENT! Food was absolutely delicious and well worth the visit! While the churros was yummy, the best item BY FAR is the Margherita!! Thanks guys.
Janelle Oldfield
Great atmosphere and very happy to find vego options made dairy free on request. Beer on tap a bonus ;)
Pete RedBaron Rowett
Great staff and delicious food. Decor is also worth a look. I loved the burrito and the bbq corn.
Margaret George
Love the food and the people that work there. So friendly and happy. Calamari tacos to die for and the chips yummo! Croquettes yummy!

Went for the first time staff were very nice and the food was nice aswell

We went for lunch today at Paco Tacos . When served by a young lady we asked for the Sangria special but were refused as the special begun at 3 pm it was 2.55. So we asked if we could then have one of the closed umbrellas up in the sun out the front and we will just order food and then order the Sangria special in 5 mins. He said no and that it was too windy for umbrellas ( although every other store had theirs up on both sides) . We cancelled our order and went next door for lunch. Shit attitude Paco! No stars!
Alana O'Farrell
Very happy with the portion sizes and staff. Also really like the fit out very fun.

OMG .. street savvy fresh, Mexican food...... if I hadn't gone yesterday I'd go today, but one must exercise some restraint... if you want fresh, clean, tastebud tantalizing food.... get the keys and make haste... NOW!!!
Kraig Oh
Even one star is Generous, staff are clueless, the food was tasteless, I received what looked to be a piece of chicken between 2 brown envelopes, and it was cold.
Geraint Gardner
Just plain Rubbish. $6 small tacos that are half filled. Staff friendly but can not see this lasting for its food. Very very poor and certainly will not be returning. Save your money and make your own at home. This place needs to order it's own meals and see the food they are serving.
Laura Warren
Yummy food their take on nachos is awesome although I think it's better as is than with the beef added...
Dana Foenander
Love this place. Delicious traditional street food served by lovely staff.
Sharnee Price
Food poisoning for the whole family
Ian Shirley
Good customer service, food was yum , slightly over priced but over-all was a pleasant experience. I will go back.
Cynthia Dir
Awesome Mexican food. Best I've had ever. No sloppy oily things in sight
Amanda Masters
Yum! The freshness of the ingredients is outstanding!
Steven Sleep
I was tired, hungry and cranky going in. And left full, tipsy and happy
Will Vandermeer
Really nice tacos here and the nachos are absolutely delicious. Particularly fond of the calamari tacos.
Amy
Food was nice enough but nothing special. Things were well-priced tho which was good. The corn tortillas were done very well, it was thin, light and soft unlike most other corn tortillas which are quite coarse. The enchilada and fries were quite average. The corn wasn't grilled enough - they just slabbed mayo on and melted cheese on top - which isn't bad but the chargrilled-ness should be the shining element, dressed by mayo and cheese, not hidden and overpowered by them.<br/>Service was ok. Food came really quickly which was great.
Andrew
Much too expensive, the 'slow cooked beef brisket' came as chunks of beef and was not very nice. We both felt quite sick after the meal, definitely won't be back
Kyne Jin
Good venue for Mexican food hunters with a bit of cosy atmosphere during the day. Wasn’t crowded at all even on weekend(sorry for the business) and foods were served very quickly and staff was nice. Went for bbq corn, enchiladas, nacho chips and enchiladas. All of them were great and cooked properly. Will re visit again most definitely.

Love the décor in Pacos Tacos! Such a fun place :) The team was very welcoming too! <br/><br/>I love that they have a full vegan menu! We tried the Charred Corn, Burrito Bowl, and Fries of course! All delicious. Would definitely recommend the burrito bowl as a main, super filling, with a great amount of veg, avocado, beans and a massive tortilla. The fries were crunchy AF, which I love! <br/><br/>Need to go back to try the vegan churros dessert hehe!
Tania
Great atmosphere and vibes. We came here as a group and got multiple dishes to share. They were all quite nice and super filling. Would definitely recommend the fish tacos and corn.
Thirdeyethoughts
The ambience is really quite nice. Awesome colours and nicely done in regards to the theme.<br/>The food was not as we expected. We ordered the burrito bowls. It offered a variety (beans, cheese, etc.) but it lacked flavour and meat.<br/>The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was warm.<br/>

Stopped by for a quick lunch.. by far the juiciest meaty tacos I’ve had in Melbourne. So glad I’ve found this place, definitely coming back to taste other things on the menu.<br/><br/>Had the Pork shoulder carnitas with charred pineapple which was slow cooked heaven and also the smoked beef brisket carne with pico de gallo and salsa. Ate so quick I didn’t get pics of the actual tacos 🌼
Coco
First time to Pacos Tacos. Ordered the nachos, beef burrito and the churros.<br/><br/>Nachos were cold when served so the melted cheese was already hardened. Burrito was ok. For the churros, there were only 4 thin pieces. For the price of $9, I would expect 6 pieces. The sauces for the burrito tasted diluted.<br/><br/>The lady who took the order mumbled when she speaks so I had to ask her to repeat each time she said something. When she served the food, she threw the plate on the table with a thud and walked away abruptly. We were the only customers as we went at 2.30pm. The place wasn't crowded and even if it was, it doesn't warrant such service.<br/><br/>Not going to return to this place.
Tarsh Champness
Delicious tacos! Very fresh and flavoursome! Friendly staff and reasonable prices! <br/>We will most defiantly be back! The fish taco was my favourite 🙂
Robyn W
Went in to grab a quick bite before seeing a movie. Flies everywhere and very unhelpful staff. Was unsure that we needed to line up to order and pay. Jumped in line and waited for about 5 mins. When we wanted to order asked if we could get the happy hour Sangria. Without even looking at us the manager (we think he was..brown curly hair and black painted nails) said...happy hour finished at 6. Needless to say...we walked out and won't be back. Very poor customer service and this guy doesn't understand the power of looking after the business.

Overall 3.5. Nice little place with good food. I had the zucchini, feta and mint salad with an added side of BBQ chicken. Light and refreshing.

Headed here for lunch one friday afternoon and was super impressed. It was a nice warm day so the outdoor seating was perfect. Menu is great with lots of options and a special mention to the vegan menu they have which has several options to choose from. Food came out super quick, however the restaurant wasn’t too busy, so somewhat expected. We ordered the vegan nachos and burrito with some chips as well. Everything was spot on, i could not fault and considering the price i think the portions are good too. Would recommend, really fresh mexican food.
Dani Callanan
This place serves the most delicious soft tacos! The fish taco is my favourite one. But you may need to order at least 3 tacos per person. If you're at Town Square, you must check it out!
Foods Of Melbourne
I have been here in the past but not for a while now! The service was great, friendly faces and smiles and ten vibe was good too! We had the nachos (with pretty much the works) that we had to pay extra for, which was a little disappointing but they were great. And I had the burrito minus a few things, which was also yummy! Overall it was a great experience, only flaw was the fact that all the food didn’t come out at the same time and I feel that my burrito could have looks a little more appealing! Other than that; I was a very happy customer
Sammi
Extremely yummy. Got the giant burrito, was a great date night place. Staff were prompt to clean tables, and front of house was friendly. Food came very quickly, overall had a great experience.
Gianni S
Not my cup of tea, food just tasted all processed and not fresh. At best a snack as you would have to eat about 6-7 to even hit the side of your stomach.
Eating With Ebony
Was craving tacos & lots of my friends said pacos tacos was really good! it’s located in town square with all the other restaurants. We got pacos nachos to share & I was hungry so I got enchiladas & the beef brisket taco.<br/>The service was really friend & the food came out really fast as well. The food was really delicious. I was keen to try cactus in the taco but as soon as I saw it I freaked out & didn’t. I’m not a spicy fan and was glad that everything was quite mild but I’m sure if you wanted to you could make it spicier.
Theknifeandforktalk
Came here for a quick bite to eat before hitting the library to work and gosh we were satisfied after eating at Pacos Tacos. I ordered the Arroz ensalata with beef I was super impressed with the dish. Chips were also delicious and crunchy! Would come back if in the area! Becoming more of a Mexican fan all the time yay!
Saysay
I had a good experiencing eating at Original city tacos pacos outlet, so I was looking forward to visiting the restaurant in east land. If you are going to visit this place stick to what they are known for ‘tacos’. Their fish tacos is really good and so as few other meat counter parts. Whatever you do don’t order their fried chicken.. it is crazy salty and just ordinary.
Eatmeef
Soft taco shell was bit tough. Nachos were yum. Good atmosphere and good place to take a break from shopping, especially if weather is good and you go for outdoor seating.
DamoForce Food
Pretty solid feed. The burritos are large and very filling. The nachos were nice, gauc amazing though the salsa was a watery mess. Chicken wings were boss. Fix the salsa and would be perfect.
Samfinlay23
Love this place, staff are friendly and food is great and quick to come out the atmosphere because it is outside makes for a great time of upbeat meal and drinks but sometimes it can get windy and cold outside. It’s not you’re sit down dinner with fancy dress and fancy wine it’s upbeat, modern, fun and overall great!!
Re
This is some of the best Mexican food around Melbourne! The calamari tacos are to die for! Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes flavoursome food
Graham
Good service. Food was decent, just didn't love it.<br/><br/>Word fill, Word fill, Word fill, Word fill, Word fill, Word fill, Word fill, Word fill, Word fill, Word fill,
Jesse
Overpriced for very underwhelming food. I can't say much more because I left the majority of my meal behind. Fatty, chewy, flavourless beef scarcely thrown on top of nachos does not a great meal make.
George David Michaelides
Pacos is located in the ever popular outdoor food precicnt at Eastland  and it does a good job of serving tasty and fresh mexican food. Its almost one step below say a fonda but its still a great option nonetheless if you are craving some mexican before a movie
Coby
It's been a while since we've visited and the layout has changed slightly since we were last hear, there are also some subtle changes in the dishes - well at least one dish.<br/><br/>It's always friendly service here, and food comes quite quickly.  <br/><br/>We were just here for a quick bite, everyone knew what we wanted, so The Lovely Man gave our orders at the bar.  <br/><br/>The Croquetas - three (or should that be 'tres'?) - still baffle me.  They're soft, I mean seriously bechemel soft within, yet somehow the crumb coat holds it together.  The filling includes a bit of sweet corn and jalepeno, but basically this is just an excuse to chow down on some comfort-food flavour of white sauce.  I think these are lovely little indulgences.<br/><br/>Of the taco selection we went with the 'calamar' (calamari) and the 'carne' (beef brisket).  The calamar is a lovely fresh mix of lightly crumbed calamari, always cooked to perfection, and a fresh pico de gallo (a sprightly salsa) and salad, never fails.  The other, the carne tasted different this time.  It's been a favourite previously, and, while it seemed to have far more filling than it used to, the flavour didn't seem quite right.  Neither my dining companion or I could pinpoint what was wrong about the flavour, but it left us......almost disappointed.  Unlike a previous reviewer though, I do like the addition of cactus, I should point out, though there was a pretty large quantity this time.<br/><br/>The Lovely Man also had the wings; 'Polo Frito' which I think he orders every time, and they didn't let him down.  I am always sorry to see him leave the sauce that goes with them sitting there, but it's only because it's too hot for him.<br/><br/>Pity about the one taco fail this time, hope it was just this one time.

From the guys who are renowned for Movida, I was hoping this would be a cheap, good feed. Place is quite nice but the food is somewhat average. Had the tacos, and with the meat on the bottom the sauces just soaked through the tortilla wrap and made for a messy eat. Flavours was nice, but not so filling.
Denny
Pacos Tacos in Eastland’s Town Square is their second store in Melbourne, with their first located on Bourke Street in the CBD. However, their Eastland store has a slightly different menu with a smaller focus on cocktails and sharing dishes and a larger focus on main meals and entrees but both stores offering their range of tacos options.
Catherine To
Amazing service! They initially forgot my tacos but they gave me my money back without hesitation. The food was great and the chicken is really tender. The nachos use feta cheese instead of the usual mozzarella which makes it taste more fresh. The spiced fish taco is great - definitely a favourite. The croquetas are creamy and have a nice crunch around it. Would definitely recommend!

I love mexican food! Trendy looking Mexican place heaps of colour and well styled. Great menu heaps of mexican dishes with all the traditional flavours and names. I loved the flavours but thought everything could have been taken up a notch. Staff were lovely
Lydzys
Tacos, and their croquettes as delicious. Frozen margarita was nice and refreshing. Portions are small for the price. Nice place for having snacks in between meal.
Jemma
Ventured to Pacos Tacos pre movie and was pleasantly surprised (thought it may have more off a fast food vibe). Starting off with a frozen margherita was the right idea (lychee and elderflower). Nachos were tasty but essentially "chips and dips" given there's a $5 extra charge for guacamole and they use feta rather than traditional melted cheese. Limited vegetarian options however was lucky they had a black bean quesadilla special which was yum. House made hot sauces are an excellent addition. Will be back Paco.
Heidi
Stopped by pacos tacos at Eastland recently for lunch on a Saturday! It was much the same as the one in the city but without the wait! We shared the corn chips and salsa, and I also ordered a pulled pork taco and fish taco. Both delicious! The service probably just needs some polishing up but overall a good experience.
Hungry Polar
New place in Ringwood town centre at Eastland. I love good tacos and I think we've found one of the best fish tacos! đŸ‘đŸ»<br/>Nice warm day for a chilled beer, cider and tacos!<br/>Try the corquetas!
Good Food Good Mood
I have to say given this is Mr Movida's foray into the casual eat I was expecting more. Great vibe in the space and I do love a good frozen Margherita but I wasn't for me. I get what they are trying to do in elevating the cuisine from the traditional commercialised Mexican food we are generally exposed to but I feel it went too far the other way. I mean I'm adventurous but I don't want cactus in my beef brisket taco. I also don't like onion and requested my chicken taco sans the pickled onion but it still arrived with it. Unfortunately didn't realise Monday was locals night at 15% off and went on a Wednesday. I'd keep it in mind for next time except I won't be back
Shihop
They have a lunch special until 2:30pm (two tacos and a drink) but I was not allowed to order it as it was 4mins over the time.. So I ordered the enchilada - it was a large portion, which is great, but I got sick of the flavour and could not finish it.
Hanah Penrose
Really disappointed. I was so excited to try this new Mexican place as it looks like a copy of Fonda (which I LOVE). Unfortunately, I don't have anything positive to say about this place. It took 20 minutes of standing waiting to be served - for no reason other than only one person serving (at peak time on a Friday night) and them being painfully slow. We both got a chicken enchilada - it was big, but with no interesting flavours or balance. Just a big blob of shredded chicken drowned in a thick, intense sauce. Needed fresh flavours added like a salsa and tomato and citrus and lettuce and avocado - it had none of this. Just chicken and a weird tasting thick orange sauce. We ate about half of our plate each and then just gave up. Dish needed some serious balancing! Overpriced and we were still hungry after - left really disappointed. Won't be back.
Maddy
Awesome place for Mexican food loved the nachos and the croquetas. Burrito serve are big enough to fill u up. all and all a great experience.
Andrew
Great style and atmosphere. Staff is very friendly. Vegetarian range is not huge, but nachos were good and tacos were also good. I found the place slightly expensive considering what you get, but most Mexican joints are anyway. Definitely a great place for where it is!
Khushboo Parikh
I went with group of friends we were all sharing. We order most of the menu but Loved the zucchini salad n corns. Just the slurpe had too much sugar. Everything was good
Dhiral Merchant
Not a big sitting joint but enough place to enjoy a quiet meal. Excellent food, quality and taste different to any other Mexican joints I have eaten before. Not at all expensive, surely recommend to go for 2nd visit...
Foodandwinefan
We were greeted at 8pm, and told to order at the bar and that the restaurant would be closing at 8.30, despite hours stating on all sites 9pm. Totally rushed our average salty deep fried over priced dinner to then be told at 8.30 they would now close in 30mins at 9.
Hunger Pains
Cruised in here for lunch with the kids before a movie. Nice little bar up front with beer on tap. Atmosphere was colorful and service was quick and friendly. As for the food - the chicken wings were a standout - a definite must have! We ordered a selection of tacos and they were all yum but a bit messy to eat, which I guess is standard for tacos. Kids meals were good also. Everything was really delicious and tasty, will definitely be back.
Tamara
Totally delicious find in Town Square at Eastland. Cool interior with comfy seating and friendly service. We got the Nachos with BBQ Chicken (pictured) and Burrito. So quick to arrive and totally delicious. Great pricing and massive serves. Can't wait to come back.
Lauren Werner
Great service, staff were extremely friendly. Food wasn't what I would call authentic Mexican, but the food and atmosphere held their own. Between my friend and I we ordered Paco's Tacos, Papas Fritas & the Verduras. Decent vegetarian options and some seriously good Sangria.
Caroline Beaney
The nachos at Pacos Tacos were really interesting. It was more fusion based than traditional. Their nachos dish uses feta cheese but you can choose to have non-feta cheese instead. They also use BBQ salsa instead of the traditional salsa. I was curious how this was going to go! For me it was quite strange eating these nachos, I expected the traditional flavours every time I took a bite which weren't obviously there. I'm not sure if the feta worked or not... I don't think it was bad though. Just different. I don't think enough salsa was added. The chips were tasty and I really liked the sour cream. <br/><br/>My boyfriend ordered a burrito - it was huge and he was glad he had only ordered one. Haha. He had no complaints about his meal. <br/><br/>I also ordered two drinks. The first was their cocktail called Carolina, I ordered it because it was quite similar to my name haha. It was ok. I ended up giving it to my boyfriend since it was more suited to his tastes. I also ordered a frozen margarita. They had two flavours to choose from and I ended up choosing the Cosmo flavour. Um, it was interesting but I definitely wouldn't call it a frozen margarita. It didn't look frozen at all. I much prefer the frozen margaritas at Taco Bill hahaha!
Bbhood85
Nice and cheery staff, the fish taco had a great little crunch along with the combo of the slaw was a match made in heaven, the pulled pork taco nice and tender, nachos were also crisp and toppings were refreshing, not over smothered with cheap cheesy goo that you sometimes get with others.<br/><br/>The fried chicken though was nice but nothing special, just fried chicken that I could've replicated at home, I was hoping for some secret batter or mix of spice but got non of that. It's literally just fried chicken with a tabasco like bottled sauce. Mmmm i think i'll go make some now....
T.
Tacos carnitas and some papas fritas = extremely satisfying meal. This place is an absolute favourite. The best kind of fast food - speedy, fresh, delicious!!
Seb
Very impressed with this place, love the food and the casual vibe of the restaurant. The Nachos were especially excellent with lots of toppings and crispy chips.
AaronN
Came here and had the beef tacothe bbq chicken tacoand some guac and salsa verde with the nachos. Food was much better than I expectedand service was pretty good. Will return if in the area doing a shop again.
ToorakM
Update - lunch here again and hands down its perfect. Guacamole was delicious, croquettes perfect and spicy and partners chicken burrito he said it was the better ones he had. Loads of tender pulled chicken - staff are amazing here too! <br/><br/><br/>Well ToorakM can't stay in Toorak forever so I ventured out to the new Eastland as let's face it; Chaddy is pretty lame these days... <br/><br/>Had a wonderful lunch here - diagnosed being celiac this week means I'll be eating different foods now and most of the menu here is gluten free. <br/><br/>We had the tortillas and guacamole which was a monster serve, the kids chicken tacos were full of fresh tasty chicken the little one loved (and so did I) and it came with a caramel ice cream too and corn chips for just $12. Bargain. <br/><br/>The little one loves spicy food so he had a jalapeño croquette too - don't know how he does it but he loves it and all meals were fresh hot and super delicious! <br/><br/>Lovely staff on the counter as you've got to order at the bar but wow what a great fit out - fresh, colourful and very hip for this area!
Barley And Hops
Fast food type environment, food is better than most Mexican places and service was decent. Have to sweep the food of your seat before sitting down and food comes in cheap little plastic baskets etc to complete the fast food experience. Prices are cheap but portions are small. Craft beer label is a joke.
Vivi Wulansari
Gluten free friendly! This place has the best guacamole!!<br/><br/>Recently I had a guest visiting who is gluten intolerant and pacos tacos has a great variety of menu that is gluten free but still delicious!! <br/><br/>Great service is one of the thing that will make me come back other than the great food! <br/>
Facebook User
highly recommend the fish tacos! chicken wings were good as was the enchilladas.
Loulou
Food was really enjoyable and at a good price, however portion size was lacking. Food was packed with flavour, the two favourites of the night were the chicken wings, cooked perfectly, nice and crispy - flavoured with lime and the nachos which were filled with all different assortments and again the chips were nice and crispy. Only suggestion is churro sauce is "thickened" as tastes more like hot chocolate then a dipping sauce. Will be back again!
CCC
I love Pacos Tacos! It's really cheap but really delicious! The pork crackling entree is the only hing I haven't loved. The croquettes are just to die for, the tacos I love that you can buy individually. I've had a gastric bypass so it's perfect for me that I can buy a small portion, and the wings are crispy and so delicious! I also love thy they have a different flavoured margarita each time.

Stop#2 and we're back in the town square for lunch. Just finished a pretty decent Mexican inspired meal. Very hard to pinpoint why we didn't really enjoy our experience. Service was excellent, but the food was quite lackluster and to be honest rather stingy in terms of portion size. Oh well...

So mexi seems to be my thing lately. @pacostacosmelb is at the newly renovated Eastland in the sth east of #melbourne. Guyssssss get here! Im rating this place highly! Taquitos were bomb - slow cooked pork shoulder was juicy and sweet and against that peanut mole.. Oh.Lord.Jesus THANKYOU.
Grizzly
Well presented meals. The croquettes were pretty darn good but the enchiladas really let me down. Packed full of rice and very little chicken. Killed me.
Fenaira
Had a good experience here. Just popped in for a quick bite. Staff was friendly, the food was out fast and tasted fresh with a bit of spice.

As with alot of the larger shopping complexes, Eastland Ringwood has a large selection of restaurants to dine at. We found ourselves in the Town Square and the choices are quite diverse so it took us a little while to decide on what to have for dinner. We hadn’t had mexican in a while, so that was the choice of the night.<br/><br/>The dining area was large, but there wasn’t much interaction with the staff - the service had more of a fast-food feel to it. The main dishes weren’t great, but the entrees and sides were good enough to come back for. <br/><br/>Check out the review of Pacos Tacos in the blog post below.

I'm a big fan of Mexican food and couldn't be more excited when I finally got around to coming here. It was an empty Wednesday night which I was pleased with as it wasn't too loud or 'hectic' inside. We ordered the paco nachos and chicken enchilada to share. We then got the pollo (chicken) taco, pescado (fish) taco and carnitas (pulled pork) taco. We shared the fish taco as the reviews raved about it and I was tempted to try it. It was defiantly a great fish taco as they are hard to come by. The food was great and delicious and nothing was disappointing with what we ordered or our general experience there. Defiantly coming back!
Leigh
Very very nice.<br/>Tasty meals & not too pricey.<br/>They very accommodatingly split the kids meal to share.<br/>Thanks.
Snowflower
Love the nachos and tacos here. It's a pity we didn't come to this place earlier. The corns were fantastic too. Can't wait to eat here again. Great service too!
Helloworld
All about the fish tacos! Hard to find a good taco in Melbourne let alone a fish taco. This is the place for fish taco the best taco of all in my opinion.
Colin Godber
Heard great things about other Paco's outlets so thought to give it a try. Ambiance is vibrant and fun. Bar service was very good. Table service ok. The food is tasty but I'm not convinced it's better than other similar places. The main factor being the portion sizes. If food is of high quality, portion size is appropriate for the dish and you feel satisfied at the end of your meal. Unfortunately I didn't think the serving size was appropriate for the quality and price.

Recently Eastland in Ringwood has opened after redevelopment the Shopping Centre as well as the addition of a bunch of new stores. Some of these are brand new restaurants and bars for this area, including George Calombaris’s chain Jimmy Grants and Daniel Wilson’s chain Huxtaburger. Slowly I...

Great food and service! Up there with the best Mexican in Melbourne! The fish taco is a must have and the big tortilla chips are a delicious start to the meal. Already dreaming about going back
Jessica Atkins
My favourite fish tacos are now from Paco's! Their tortilla chips and guac are also great, and the corn cobs are good but they definitely put too much cheese on.
Rebecca Grey
Great service! Friendly staff! Plenty of coeliac friendly & dairy free menu items! Just let them know what your dietary needs are ;)<br/><br/>and epic amazing happy hour! what more could you possibly need??
Andy S
Have been here twice, and the food tastes great, comes out quick and the ingredients seem fresh!<br/><br/>I have had conversations with the staff on their menu items, and they really do know their own product, what's made from fresh produce in the restaurant, and what is delivered to cook. <br/><br/>The bonus of this place, is that they have Mott's CLAMATO! <br/>If you're reading this Paco, maybe its time to put a caesar into the cocktail menu? *wink wink*
Freza
Good range of tacos and sort of change my perspective of how great tacos can be when done right. Only gripe is that it's not cheap, which is a shame.
Ash
Pacos Tacos cannot make nachos but there enchilada is super tasty. I think there is already a consensus that this place is way over priced and if I hadn't had visited on such a warm day I would not have paid $4.00 for a Coke. The enchilada had tasty chicken and great flavours, I'd consider going back for it. The nachos however were just awful and I have no idea why it was covered in feta. I've never seen so much feta on a Mexican menu! If you are happy to pay ridiculous prices for Mexican food then you have found a place for lunch.
Kim
Paco makes a damn good taco! <br/>Mexican has been growing on me... Especially since my trip to Hawaii (USA) a couple of weeks ago. And these bad boys were just as good. <br/><br/>I had the fish taco. The fish is battered and fried to be nice and crunchy. Mine was perhaps slightly overdone so the fish was a little dry... But it was still tasty with a nice flavour combo. My bf got the pork taco, which he loved. Ingredients seemed fresh! <br/><br/>We also got Papas fritas... Which to our surprise wasn't 'fries'. Instead we got chunky potato in chipotle sauce that had been (deliciously) fried. It came with jalapeños which I don't like... But it was easy to eat around them. Very mmmmmmm. <br/><br/>We only had a taco each and the papas fritas because we'd had a late brekkie. It'd still be a great price if we'd had 2 tacos each... Which would normally fill me up. <br/><br/>Service was okay... I forgot to check the table number outside (as its painted on the table... Not on the napkin dispenser) but it wasn't too busy thankfully. They also let me taste the wine before buying... Which was lucky as I didn't like the first one. Always appreciate that! <br/><br/>I'd come back for a light casual lunch. <br/><br/>

Went to Eastland for shopping and ended up having dinner here and it was very nice. We got some tacos, an enchilada and a couple of margaritas. Very tasty food.

Excellent croquetas, taquitos and delicious corn. I like my food spicy so was happy to have habanero and jalapeno sauce at the table. Service was good. Enjoyed a nice mango margarita in pleasant enough surroundings.

My girlfriend wasn't a super huge fan of their take on Mexican food however I didn't mind it, better then other Mexican places. I hate to whine but my main issue was with the staff, it was unclear that we had to get a table number first, seemed like a big deal to him to explain it and in a pushy tone (not saying he was being particularly rude).<br/><br/>The staff seemed stressed and badly organized, didn't feel like they cared much. However they refunded my drink when I said it was too strong and were understanding.<br/>Average experience might give it a second shot however.

Terrible. <br/>The nachos were horrific, way too much going on. The pork and fish tacos were good but the "BBQ" chicken was ridiculously spicy!! The corn was okay, came out 10 minutes after we received everything else.<br/>Will not return

Disappointing.  In a nutshell, I won't be back.  My husband I went for lunch and we were very disappointed.  Although it was quite pricey, if it was good, we wouldn't have minded so much.  My husband had the calamari taco (he said it was disgusting - severely overcooked and chewy.  He honestly looked like he was going to vomit while eating it) and the fish taco (which he said was the grossest fish taco he's ever had).  I had the beef taco and there was some strange flavour to it that I couldn't quite put my finger on - something that definitely didn't belong in a beef taco though.  I also had the frijole/bean taco.  That was pretty good actually, but not good enough that'd I'd go back to get another one - and definitely not worth $6.50 (more like $3).  I also had a virgin margarita which was mostly ice.  It was like a very bad attempt at a 7/11 slurpee.  The outside seating was nice and the table service was good.

Eastland store. Calamari taco was MAGIC, I'm sure the other tacos would be good too. Chipotle corn was nice but I have had better in cbd. Churros was awesome :) happy overall. Hubby enjoyed his enchilada too. I would go again

Service good, menu is pretty pricey for a shopping center 'food precinct', but the tacos were good. Chicken wings were far too salty and could not be finished. The sauce that came with them was a bit too tangy, however the salsa verde (left over from the tortilla crisps) helped ease the saltiness to make eating some of them more bearable. Probably wouldn't go back.

Great feast at Paco's on the weekend. I find the city store a bit hit and miss so wasn't sure what I was going to get here, but it was delicious! We ordered way too much, as usual, and ate it all, as usual. Corn, Fish Tacos, Enchiladas and of course, Sangria. Great service too. Ole!

I have eaten here a few times since its opening and I personally find it is one of the better offerings in the new Ringwood town square! It is, at its essence casual dining and has a very casual vibe. I personally recommend the fish and calamari tacos, as they are both delicious! Also it seems like you might need to order a lot as the system is ordering single tacos, but they have a generous amount of filling for their size, and fill you quick!

Now this is Mexican food! The Polo Taco (BBQ Chicken) had this dash of flavour that really made it wonderful. Lots of alcohol drinks to choose from would make this a good location for a birthday or function.

If you're made of money, then eat here!!! <br/>I am offended at these prices!!! Having been to Mexico and to the States I was completely shocked at the exorbitant prices. <br/>$5 to add guac to a single $6.5 vegetarian taco WTH? <br/>The food was not horrible but these prices are ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Based on that I will not be returning to Pacos Tacos. Hopefully management gets a grip so every-day people can return for a proper, affordable meal. <br/>

Yesterday I finally got around to going to Pacos Tacos for lunch. I have been wanting to go for so long but for some reason kept on missing the opportunity.  It was also such a beautiful sunny afternoon that I could not go passed having some Mexican!. Looking over the menu I decided to have a chicken taco and some chips. When I asked the young man for chips he asked me if I wanted the kids chips or the Polo chips? Well when in Rome, in this case mexico, so what the Mexicans do! So i chose the Polo chips. For a drink I chose a guava soda, mmm yummy!
