Review Jamaica Blue - Ringwood

The customer service is awesome. The waiters are very friendly. We ordered a capuchino, a chai latte, a brownie and a carrot cake. They were delicious, I’m amazed by the quality of the drinks too. Good coffe and chai tea.

Coffee was great with very nice design. Very friendly and polite staff. Cheese cake was fresh but slightly overpriced that is 4 out of five star 🌟 for. Nice decoration and environment.

We ordered toasted ham and cheese croissants... arrived soggy and limp from being microwaved and served with a side salad (for breakfast) which was smothered in dressing... and leaked onto the croissants. My partners didn't mind it because he doesn't mind when the croissant doesn't flake. He didn't like that it was serves with salad for breaky and especially that the dressing got all over the croissant. I hated it all. Still ate it because I'm a pig, was hungry and we had an appointment to get to. Coffee... his triple shot coffee was definitely not a triple. Wasn't terrible, just wasn't great. My iced long black was okay.

You will have the same amazing coffee taste every time every where at Jamaica Blue.

Completely bad experience I had today. I have a steak sandwich with my partner the Thymestalk left on the steak dry and overcooked The chips were dry and didn’t have any seasoning. Tomato was okay.. The top of cheese cheddar melts and doesn’t balance well with food The bun was too rough couldn’t break through the knife couldn’t even eat the sandwich without having to take it apart and very clearly truly it wasn’t the type of bun even had an iced Mocha didn’t even give me glass and it was bloody plastic! Terrible service staff didn’t even know what they were doing just keep walking around didn’t even come to check on us once. The chef I was looking at didn’t even clearly know what he was doing looks like he just messing around in the kitchen and playing music and not caring much about the food.. how could you serve this to someone with the steak completely dry couldn’t even eat it properly. Made me sick quite after eating it and my partner had it too and I was having aching stomach pain. Won’t be coming back here after I was serve this!!!! Terrible service terrible chef clueless and careless of what he was doing. Bad restaurant!

Aged menu that needs updating, same food choices for many years. Boring. Food Overpriced. Apprx $13 for chicken pesto wrap that was sandwich pressed like a pancake, soggy, chicken dry and tastless.

There was a $1 wings special here for valentine's day so we thought we would give it a shot- can't go wrong right?
Well turns it out it can go wrong.
The wings looked really tasty and appealing but when I actually ate them they were really sweet. I could only have 2 before I started feeling sick. It was like they cooked the chicken and just put a bottled honey soy sauce on top.
Not nice at all.
We also ordered chai latte, which was average. I wouldn't come back here for food, and probably not for chai latte either because there are better cafes in Eastland

This mornings strong almond milk latte was a pleasant surprise from this coffee chain. The coffee was strong and hot and smooth. The toasted banana bread was a bit dry despite asking for butter to be spread but was still edible.
KD

Coffee is delicious but I suggest you stick to takeaway. Went in on a sleepy Tuesday morning and was asked THREE times by the same waitress if I was finished with my meal so she could clear my table. No smile with the service. The cafe was less than half full so I don’t know what the rush was. I guess they’re use to people leaving over half their meal that’s why she thought I was done.

Wheelchair accessible. Kiosk store but within a complex. Accessible bathrooms available within the complex.

Went here for scones and coffee. Reasonably priced for a coffee shop. Staff were lovely. :)

I am not a coffee drinker but my hubby is. He said the coffee is really nice. We tried many cafes for coffee and most of time he got disappointed. We also had the cheesecake and it was one of the best cheesecake we had! And their membership offer a lot since you got points not just from buying coffee but also any dollar spent there.

Yeah it's not that new shwankey place that you can tag yourself at and pretend your cooler and hipper then all your friends and take those nice shots of coffee with a red mug. Basically its full of mums, nanna's and also sensible good looking people such as myself. I don't actually the mind coffee the here. It normally comes down to the skill of the barrister or coffee machine setting to wether you will get a really good coffee on the day. I know what I'm getting when I order food here and paying the appropriate price for it.

Tip: Defiantly a place to take your mum on a sunday morning.

Nicely furbished store with comfy chairs and friendly service. Coffee is standard. Good place to come by to meet up with friends and have a chat!

Nice coffee! They made the best Affigato I have ever had! The girl who served me had beautiful manners! We would come back for food for sure!

Yerp, havent been back to Aus for a while, still by far the best place to have coffee at Eastland.. in a hurry today to get food out of the way.. ordered and food came out in 10mins. Surprisingly price is considerable good for Jamaica Blue. Trio of us under $50.. 3 hot drinks, French toast with bacon and maple syrup and Chicken Caesar burger.

I love their coffee! I love coffee, but strong coffee would severely interfere my sleep at night. Hence I prefer mild tasting coffee. Jamaica Blue has got the taste I like. In particular, I would like to give their coffee makers a big thumb-up! Thanks for your lovely coffee!

Back to JB on level 2 for food and coffee today. Coffee was as good as last time. I tried blueberry crumpets today! Really lovely desert! Warm crumpets served with hazelnut spread and blueberry! A perfect match to their coffee! It is definitely my choice for desert next time!

This place is my go to for coffee in Eastland. Best coffee in Eastland. Customer service is great with really friendly staff, I highly recommend.

This review is purely based on the coffee. Really good coffee. Haven't eaten here and probably won't unless the review ratings on food pick up.

Nice salad, soggy crepes. I was very disappointed when I visited a regular coffee-spot chain for my boyfriend and I. He ordered the bacon and egg bagel, where I opted for the chicken, mushroom, and spinach crepes. They were out of bagels so they put my boyfriend's meal together on a white roll and that's fine, bit disappointing especially as the price wasn't discounted for something that costs less to make but fine. Yet I love crepes. And these savory crepes were flavourless and well as soggy. The chicken inside was slimy, grey, and tasteless. There was a lack of mushrooms but the ones provided were pretty gross. They were bogged with a heavy, thick, gluggy, mucus-like sauce. The only good thing about them was that there was spinach and even that was poor. I would not order this again and are unlikely to return to a chain again for a meal. Stick to the chai and muffins.

Rip off. Paid just under 40 bucks for 2 scrambled eggs on toast and coffees. Eggs like rubber and toast was colder than an eskimos toe. Omg..... don't do breakky here unless you want to be ripped off. Coffee was nice though.

About 2 months ago I went to Jamaica Blue in Eastland because I was pressed for time. I was looking forward to a nice coffee and cheesecake. I love love cheesecake! I was surprised to see that it had been renovated and that the entire back wall was featured for Jamaica Blue. It gave the cafe a nice modern look and made it feel more roomy. Now we know it was purely to hide the new Eastland ;-)
