Review Yangs Place - Ringwood

Their sweet and sour sauces are good but the fish was quite fishy which was disappointed. We will come back but probably just for the sweet and sour fish fillet rather that the whole fish.

This is our Go-To spot when we want Chinese. There is a freshness and a quality to each dish, and we're never disappointed. One of our favourite dishes is the stir fried prawns with cashew nuts--we're always surprised at how many prawns come on the plate. The Peking duck is also delicious. Service is excellent and the food is great . . . and we just keep going back. The lunch menu is very reasonably priced, and the meals are delicious.

Great value lunch special. My soup noodles were just OK, but the menu will entice me to return and try something else.

Stopped in for a quick lunch the man that served us was really nice. Great service. We ordered Mixed seafood with crunchy noodles and received a free Chicken and sweet corn soup and two dumplings.

Huge disappointment and completely disgusted.

Based on good reviews I have found online, decided to give this place a go.

Ordered a very common and popular dish - Kung Pao Chicken. It's supposed to be a spicy dish and no other places has ever got it wrong.

The presentation was good, I could see chicken, peanuts and lots of chopped chilli pieces. After a couple of bites, I realised that the chicken is not spicy at all. Went on and tasted the chilli pieces -- no taste at all.
Puzzled, but I was hungry, so just ate the chicken anyway.
Then I checked all the chilli pieces, they were all blackened, and some were even yellow. At that point, I realised the chilli used in this dish has been previously deep-fried or pan-fried and used in other dishes, then they had been collected and recycled and used again in my order.

Revolting!!! I was completely disgusted. Some more google research about blackened chilli further confirm and suspicion.

Disgusting, disgusting, disgusting!

We had a casual family dinner here for the first time. Great north east China cuisine, very homey style and presentation nothing fancy but good taste. Super friendly staff. Will visit again to try other dishes.

Can highly recommend Yang's Place. Came here for lunch on a Saturday and was immediately pleasantly surprised by the modern Asian interior. The staff were quick to attend to us, and once we had ordered our dishes, the food was also quick to arrive - each dish staggered at very practical intervals. For the quality of the dishes, we were extremely satisfied with the price. Our favourite dish was the scrambled egg whites and seafood.

For anyone looking for reasonably priced, delicious Asian food, I cannot recommend Yang's Place enough. We will certainly be back.

They are back! I have been a regular dinner at their old cafe in Doncaster for years at least twice a week. I really like their chilli beef with rice and the fish filliets with pickles in soup as I couldn't find any replacements that suit my taste. The good 6month of waiting for the new venue is worth it! The new place is bigger and more kids friendly. The deco of the venue is very modern and woody, it has that MUJI theme all over the place. They didn't squeeze every inch of the shop space with table and chair so you can relax and enjoy the meal even with the little one too. As always, the owners and the waitresses are friendly and attentive. The male owner (chef) is kinda shy so he just stays in kitchen all day but he is good at his post and he makes sure the quality of his works remain consistent even during rush hours.
Although it is a bit of travelling from where I live but it's handy to know that I can now order the spicy goodies through the Melbourne Delivery especially winter is coming.
