Review Schnitz - Ringwood

Our first time going to Schnitz Eastland after the renovation. We used to love it, but the quality of food definitely went down. Fries are not as good as before. Extras that I ordered with my burger were missing. And the worst thing - clearly unwashed lettuce - I found a catepillar in my burger. I don’t think we will be coming back anytime soon.

Food cold and try. No taste at all! I will never come back again. Very bad food for 8years kid. I am so disappointed.

Ordered a vegan Parma , got a given one with dairy and was told it was vegan and when they realised their mistake they asked if I wanted it vegetarian or vegan , bad service. If I was allergic with dairy it would’ve been a hospital job if I hadn’t realised

It was extremely nice of Grace to give me the Plain & Simple Wrap for free and to give me free chips as well to share with Denise. The food was great but I wouldn't recommend their wraps since they are very expensive so I would recommend making your own from now on and saving your money.

If you prefer vegetarian meal, then I strongly suggest you try "Spice of life wrap" with veg. patty. It has really unique flavour and a taste which you'll love.

Ordered Schnitz excitingly today, after noticing they had added vegan options to the menu! Just to state, I'm not vegan, but I'm highly allergic to dairy & gluten. So for my case vegan options makes it a lot easier for me to get takeaway food. Anyway, I ordered the American dream very happily. Order arrived within 30 minutes from Uber eats. Opened everything up andddd it clearly wasn't vegan. I thought this was a simple misunderstanding so I rang up the shop. Was greeted by a lady whom I tried explaining the details to. She interrupted me multiple times in the first 10 seconds saying that it was uber eats fault. I then tried to tell her that in the uber eats app in the description states it is vegan. All I heard back was "Its uber eats fault contact them. This is not our problem". I've never had this happen to myself from any other hospitality venue. Usually, they would ask for some proof and then give a refund. This lady straight up couldn't care less what I thought.

Terrible slow service, told us there was a delay on chips, our burgers sat for 10 minutes while they gave four other orders past ours chips. Slow staff unenthusiastic. Avoid and go to a good Schmitz is my advice

Ordered through Uber eats at 11:30 am. Scheduled delivery at 12:30pm. Delivery time have been postponed 4 times until 1 pm. Order canceled due to No delivery driver around. My 3 year old daughter waited 1.5 hours for nothing? This is as bad as delivery service can go.

Ordered a spicy chicken roll. This used to be my favourite but tried it a couple of times since and it's just way too hot unfortunately. Very disappointed.

With most things closed throughout the centre I picked this up for dinner before doing my grocery shop in the centre (seemed like the rest of the world did likewise). Hubs had the parma one I got the basic and added avocado, both yummy and made fresh

3.5
Grabbed a Basic Instinct Schnitz today during their hectic lunchtime rush. I ordered the beef schnitzel with a new gluten free corn chip crunch coating. I am always surprised that so many people order chicken here when the beef is so much better but perhaps they do so to avoid mix ups like I experienced today.

After a fair wait saw them preparing my wrap with chicken instead of beef. I brought this to their attention and they put the order through again but failed to change the order slip so the kitchen cooked the same chicken schnitzel again and this was intercepted and eventually rectified with a third preparation of beef. All this took quite a while (like between 15-20 minutes) and while I grumbled a little they gave me free fries by way of an apology which cheered me up somewhat.

The gluten free corn crunch was delicious and may replace the spicy crumb as my preferred coating.

Good franchised store. Chips are generally always crispy, always well seasoned and good sized meal portions.

The chicken burgers have always been good so far. Yesterdays was moist and tender. Plenty of seasoned avocardo and semi dried tomatoes. Great bun texture and structural integrity. Really nice burger.

I agree with the previous reviewer, this is definitely the best Schnitz in relation to serving size across Melbourne.

I have enjoyed both a Garden of Eden and a Swiss Schnitz Burger at this location, and both have been extremely large in comparison to the same orders I have enjoyed elsewhere. A stop-off at Schnitz Ringwood for lunch may become so filling that you might hold off on having dinner for a good while after. Despite the large portions, the taste is much of a sameness to other Schnitz restaurants. The well-seasoned chips are nice and crispy and the schnitzels are always cooked well and thankfully not saturated in oil.

The serving sizes here are ridiculously big compared to the others we've been too! We had a cheat meal and I felt six sizes bigger after eating just a kids burger size meal (huge)

Chicken I asked well done as I hate chicken that's not crisp and it was perfect. Service was good too here and I like knowing what I'm eating - chicken, salad etc. Curry sauce is so good too - but he's this is a place not to eat ALL the time 😳
