Review The Coffee Club Eastland - Ringwood

Friendly and nice service in a very good location while you are waiting for your family to meet their GP in Medical Center or if you want to take a rest. I also enjoyed the nice coffee. Clean tables and well organized. I’m talking about a coffee shop in the middle of a shopping centre, don’t compare it with a luxury places since you must pay more in those places. I recommend you try Coffee Club.

Saturday 26/3 I ordered scramble eggs on toast with hash brown to take away. Food given with no cutlery or serviettes. I asked for plastic cutlery or something to use and the staff laughed at me saying “we don’t have any”. I asked “how am I supposed to eat, use my fingers?” The staff looked at me , talked and laughed among themselves as if I asked a funny question. So no cutlery in the end. I walked away thinking I should have returned the food for a refund. Staff are inconsiderate

You would think if they call themselves the coffee club that would make food coffee. Very weak and luke warm. Food was OK but far too much bread for the eggs Benedict and the hollandaise tasted like it was made with cream. Weird. The kids liked the pancakes but did say Maccas hotcakes are better. We won't bother going back.

Coffee is great. I see improvements since last review. The flat grill is good. Date 20Feb 2020 Saturday: Mud cake was extremely bad asked for being warm up but came cold.

Owww how do i start ok first of all great customer service and the service is not bad. You got exactly what you ordered. The foods are phenomenal but a bit pricey. The coffees are fresh. Highly recommended for two or more people.

I had the smashed avocado. Most places I go to, I don't have to order extra eggs. Adding eggs into the price would be great. That's my opinion. the dish only came with 1 slice of bread. I honestly think there should be another slice of bread and more avocado. The avocado is smeared on very lightly. I ordered extra bacon. Again most places give two pieces where this place only gives one. Overall the tasting of the meal was great. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The place was busy and we didn't wait long for our breakfast. there was only 1 floor staff. She was really busy and doing a great job. The coffee was incredible.

We always order the croissants..so very flaky. Coffee and hot chocolate are good.

Order was coffee and toast ! One slice of bread cooked on one side not the other. Tried to ask why I only got one piece she said that’s what I ordered . I actually questioned as I 100% wanted two pieces as it was over $6.00 . So they took my toast away and came back with another serve yet again one piece cooked on one side ! I can buy two loaves of bread for $6.00 !!! Will never go back!

Ate here a few times and always impressed. Excellent food, served quickly and tasty coffee. Great open atmosphere and prices reasonable if slightly high. Nonetheless, I’d recommend.

Only selected 1 as I couldn’t select nothing. Find it disgusting that they won’t just serve a little hot water to make a bottle when sitting there drinking your coffee, but if you pay for a tea they will happily give you some. Makes so much sense. Don’t bother with the policy crap either because if that was the case you shouldn’t be giving hot water for tea then.

Disappointed . Had the chicken burger tonight and it was dry and stringy. Stale bun and it wasn't a brioche. Won't be back sorry

My meal was covered in chilli and inedible! There was no mention of chilli in the menu!

Probably the worst breakfast I've had eating out in Melbourne anywhere. Smashed avo more like pureed avo smeared so thinly it would have been around 1/8 flesh of a small avocado with zero seasoning/taste. Got "sauteed mushroom" on the side which was basically dry fried with absolutely no moisture or taste. A handful of rocket that was dry with no dressing. At $14 for basic smashed avo on toast one would think you could do better then that. I honestly can't fathom in this day and age with the smashed avo phenomenon that this basic dish could be so poor.

Nice place, the queue to order always takes forever but depends on the time of day i guess. Good coffee, food is nice but nothing extraordinary. The omelette needs to come with more bread to balance the egg to bread ratio but is otherwise pretty yummy. Calamari was good but a tiny bit chewy, cooked well though. Would return if I’m at Eastland.

Went there when ww visited the newly refurbished EastLands shopping centre.

What a mistake that was...

Ordered the zuccini fritters with bacon... half an hour later still hadnt revieved anything. Went to front counter to enquire, the bored looking girl behind the counter told me she would follow it up.

About five minutes later the meal was dumped down in front of me, it was cold, the fritters were rubbery and had obviously been microwaved along with the so-called bacon.

Inedible food and lousy service.

Avoid.

i'm honestly appalled by this coffee club. You'd think that being situated in eastland, one of the bigger shopping centres in melbourne, that it would deliver as a high end cafe/restaurant. unfortunately it didn't!!! we waited near half an hour with no service, and once we called over the attendant, we were told you had to order up at the counter. Unbelievable!!! i ate in an angry mood i didn't enjoy it!! GRRR 😤😤😤

Lemon pepper calamari at $17.90 with salad and chips. Big portion and succulent calamari. The lunch specials and breakies are a fav. among locals.

While at Eastlands a group of us went to the Coffee Club and enjoyed a good healthy lunch. The cafe was busy but we found the service was efficient and friendly. Left satisfied with our visit

I have returned here a couple more times since first visiting and I must say I was quite disappointed with my visit yesterday. I had the flat grill again and it was so oily and there was a real lack of filling. I felt sick since eating it so I won't be returning.

I also visited on Friday which was the AFL public holiday. 15% extra charge was a bit rough. I sent back my latte as there was a huge amount of froth. The guy who served me was lovely but I didn't appreciate the judgemental looks I got from behind the serving counter.

Ordered Chicken, Pumpkin and Pesto Flat Grill for $12.95, Classic Pancakes for $13.95 and Eggs Benedict with Mushrooms and Spinach for $17.95. Also ordered two latte's.
The coffee was good. Not too bitter but I used to like it better.
The Eggs Benedict was very nice. The pancakes were ok. It was a shame the fruit is not fresh. Infact, they were still frozen and my daughter couldn't eat it.
I had the Chicken Pesto Grill. Presentation was very good. The salad was fresh although it was drowned in dressing which soaked the pita bread. The pumpkin was hard and cold which ruined the experience. I also thought the amount of filling was too light on for the price. I also had the unpleasant experience of eating chilli in my pita as not only was it not on the menu but I react badly to chilli. I think they should be more careful of their food preparation area and the temperature of the food. If it's meant to be hot, it should be hot!
The service was polite and efficient. Tables were cleared regularly and cleaned.
Overall, the food was nice but improvement could be made.

We relaxed at The Coffee Club with a hot drink and cake. We shared a slice of the heavenly ‘Pecan Pie ($6.90)’. I chose the ‘Chai Latte ($4.30)’. My dining companion went for the ‘Tall Latte ($4.70)’...
