Food is always really tasty. Had fun ordering their unicorn milkshake! Staff are friendly. Balcony outdoor seating is great.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Good for families! Our one year old is now an arancini fan 🤗🙌

Ordered 2 rib eye 350g steaks 1 porterhouse steak 300g, all ordered medium rare. Instead we recieved 3 250g porterhouse steaks, all cooked medium-well. Steaks were not seasoned, pepper sauce was watery and bland, it was like eating chops. Did I mention they expected us to cut this well-done steak with butter knives? They didn't supply us with steak knives until requested. The cherry on top being this cost us a whopping $120 We also ordered a chicken parmigiana, once it arrived we found it was drier than the Sahara desert, and drowned in an excessive amount of chewy cheese. We still attempted to order dessert at the end of this, after 20 minutes of waiters avoiding eye contact, we then waited 8 minutes to get a chocolate mousse tasting like it's freshly made from a packet bought at the Woolworths downstairs, and be notified that they are out of sticky date puddings! So after 12 minutes we finally received our apple crumble which was cold upon arrival. I can not recommend coming here unless you're looking for poor service, overcooked undersized dry unseasoned overpriced steaks and dry chicken.

I have been going to The Groove Train for years, never disappointed with the Chirnside Park Outlet, however - Eastland was terrible!! over 1hr wait to get a soft drink, Beef Salad meal came out 2hrs later, waitress dumbed our plates on the table rudely, salad was not fresh, Beef was overcooked and barely more than 2 strips, way too much sauce, I ended up pouring the sauce into my empty glass. My husband ordered a Chicken Burger, smothered in a tone off mayonnaise, chips weren't even cooked, couldn't eat them, they were still frozen. I will never return to Eastland to eat a meal here, rude staff and hrs to wait for any customer service. Too bad if we were seeing a movie at Hoyts, we would off missed it.

Had lunch there today. I had the calamari salad. The calamari was good the salad was terrible. There was no dressing on the salad just dry grated cabbage and carrot. When I asked for some dressing they poured some vinegar over it . The menu stated a dressing of Mint coriander lime juice and chilli. Definitely not what I got.

Poor service. Waited half an hour for our order to be taken. Staff avoid eye contact and stand around chit chatting. 3 staff clearing a table of 2 people. After waiting around 30mins to order we get told half of our order is not available to order, adding another 15mins to be notified. Do not recommend this place. Will not come back. Two tables of 2 seated next to us walked out frustrated having to wait.

The groove Train, is a let down. The food is overpriced for what it is, I ordered the mix grill and it was tastless, dry and tough. The Waitress ask me what sause I wanted and I asked is that extra and she could not give me a clear answer instread she gave me attitude and never came back to the table to let me know. The place has one unisex toilet and I was inline behind 8 other people.

My parents collected a Spaghetti Carbonara without bacon and onion and put into 2 seperate containers for me at 4:30 then they bought it to me. The staff were kind to them and the service was wonderful.

Great staff! Large variety of food to choose from as well as a whole vegan menu including desserts! Always check the specials board for the best dinner and drinks.

Been here multiple times and this place never stops to amaze me! Tried the beef ragout risotto and the meat was so soft and tender. It warmed my tummy on a cold night!

Went on a Saturday night, busy because of movies, but quality of food average not the best. Have had better meals. Went with a group of friends, all agreed ok but not great. Would give it another go as could have been because they were busy and might have been understaffed.
Amazing Food
Dinne at the groove tonight wasn’t to bad.
We were very disappointed whit the service,
They had al least 7 people serving but they were all doing there on thinks and not interested on anyone else.
Overall experience was ok

Had a chicken parma was dry and tasteless the chicken fillet was very thin. The salad wasn't fresh. Terrible service staff standing around talking as we would have liked another drink but left as nobody served us then when we complained to the manager no effort was made to make us happier

The groove train is probably a good option for a basic meal before catching a movie next door. Not overly a bad experience as the food had great flavours but the entree was missed of the order and when mains arrived we questioned the missing entree. Not wanting to send mains back we declined the late entree, which was still presented free of charge.
The mussels weren’t debearded or prepared properly which unfortunately made them inedible. Otherwise food was very tasty. As one other reviewer has noted there are plenty of options to try on the menu so we will most likely be back.

Pizza was average. Too much cheese made it greasy, olives weren't cut in half/quarters making some bites very salty. Salt & Pepper Calamari lacked seasoning, chips were standard. Overall, okay meal before hitting up a movie.

This is our second time here.
I highly rate the staff as friendly and probably the quickest service in the southern hemisphere.

However, even with the menu having what seems to be 8 billion items, nothing is all that interesting.

We'll come again for sure but the ribs next door beckon me.

Went for dinner on a busy Friday night. Most restaurants were full for walk ins but Groove train welcomed us in. The salami pizza had a soggy base. The wedges were crispy and the sour cream was a tasty addition. The fresh apple juice was average.

Had seen this new Groove Train appear and decided to try it out for a quick lunch before our afternoon movie. The space was really nicely kitted out and there was plenty of natural lighting from the high windows and deck area down one side.

Like other Groove Trains this one has a giant menu that covered both sides. We would normally go for the pizzas but today my wife Kellie was craving nachos so we grabbed them along with some arincini.

Overall a little bit disappointed with the food. The arancini has a nice crunch on the outside but I found it was a little dry and needed seasoning. Would loved to have seen some melty cheese inside. The Nachos had plenty of sour cream, guacamole and jalapeño but also included a very non traditional salsa that contained big chunks of capsicum which I didn’t love and which I thought overpowered the dish. Love that they tried to change up this dish but most people who come in and are unadventurous enough to order nachos don’t want surprises. I would have been happier with store bought salsa.

Sadly the food was just average in a very nice surrounds... that said the menu is large enough that there must be something good on it ... surely.
