Arrived here at lunchtime and unfortunately there were only two doughnuts left.
Ordered the chicken and avocado bagel, the homer doughnut and a cappuccino.
We received our items very quickly and although the staff weren't particularly happy they were polite and professional.
The bagel was beautifully soft with generous filling of fresh chicken, avocado and mayo. It was really something to relish.
The coffee was smooth, hot, and not too strong.
The doughnut which I was really looking forward to was covered in thick chocolate, filled with jam and for me was just too sweet unfortunately.
I couldn't eat more than a bite.
I would definitely return for another bagel and maybe to try a more subtle doughnut.
As an absolute sweet tooth, I'm a sucker for a good doughnut, and they don't get much better than the huge range from Goldelucks. This booth inside Eastland shopping centre tempts you in with it's gorgeous display of pretty donuts, and you can take away or eat in as they have a few comfortable tables available. There black and gold branding makes them stand out, so they are easy to locate in the centre.
With so many choices, we were fortunate that the staff were lovely and accommodating, as making our choices proved difficult. I'm sure we tested their patience, but I'm also pretty sure that they are used to this indecision, as every donut really looks amazing. Prices are very reasonable, particularly the box of 9 for $40.
Between the four of us (my two kids included), we all had favourites. We all loved the Golden Gaytime and Caramel; but the Marge and Homer (iced jam and custard doughnuts with sprinkles) proved to be Mr 16s favourites, while Miss 21 loved the strawberry cheesecake. The lemon meringue was my favourite, and the hubby loved the Bullseye. But really, all were amazing, with super light dough, and tasty fillings and toppings.
Coffee, teas and cold drinks are available; as are a small range of savoury rolls. They also have dossants, which are donut croissant hybrids, which also look great. However, let's face it, the doughnuts really are the star at Goldelucks, and these simple treats really are as delicious as they look.
Thank you for hosting us.
Nestled inside Eastland Shopping Centre in Ringwood, the doughnuts place surely stood out with its black and yellow sign.
There’s sooo many choices to choose from! There are doughnuts and then there are dossants (which is a cross between a donut and a croissant but it doesn’t look like a cruffin/cronut).
We ended up getting a cappuccino and all these flavours (for about $40!) – 5 dossants and 4 doughnuts – such a great value!
Dossants: Original, Nutella Rocher, Nutella, Golden Gaytime, Tim Tam Crunch
Doughnut flavours: Lemon Meringue, Oreo Dream, Caramilk lovers, Strawberry cheesecake
The Strawberry cheesecake was one of my faves as the filling was so generous, and light. I also like the Caramilk as I like the chocolate block but it can be a bit sweet for others.
Thank you Goldelucks.
Goldelucks Ringwood specializes in homemade donuts and bagels and has a great variety of selections. I was invited to try there extensive menu.

Bagels cost between $8.50 to $12.00
I also selected 2 bagels:
Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese, $11.00
Chicken and Avocado, $12.00
🔆VERDICT🔆
Out of the 4 donuts my ultimate favourite is the Lemon Meringue. I was pleasantly surprised how light it was and the lemon zest was a very nice refreshing kick and the centre of the donut had tasty filling. My next favourite was the Boston Cream. The light layer of chocolate on top made it soo enjoyable and easy to eat. The cream was light and fluffy and great balance. The Apple Fritter was very generous size and can easily be shared between 2 to 3 people over a cup of coffee, tea or juice. The Apple Fritter was my sister's favourite because it had delicious pieces of apple in cinnamon (generous amount too) and had great taste which makes you wanna go back and eat more. The only downside is that the icing is too sweet so was not able to finish all of it.
The Golden Gaytime is such a classic Aussie iconic food item, who wouldnt be drawn to it? I love the suprise centre custard it was soo delicious but unfortunately it was my least favourite because overall it was too sweet!
The bagels were simply AMAZING! I wen to Goldelucks around 3pm on Sunday so there werent much bagels left but I could tell they were popular! You can select from variety of bagels - plain, sesame, poppy seed,multi-grain, cheese, sourdough rye, everything bagel or gluten free. In the past I never really had much success in bagels as they were always super hard and difficult to eat, but here at Godelucks they make their bagels fresh daily and I absolutely enjoyed them, even my sister as well. The bagel was well baked, the seeds on top of the bagel gave it exztra flavour and inside the bread is soft. The smoked salmon and cream cheese was my favourite and there was generous amount of salmon.
I tried my sister's Chicken avocado bagel, it was nice but there weren't much avocado, so we cut a fresh avocado and added some inside. If there was a bit more sauce in the bagel it would be even better. The chicken itself was very tender and fresh. I highly recommend the bagels - YUM!
Thank you again for the invitation!
Goldeluck's makes some delicious doughnuts. I've tried the lemon meringue before at an event and finally made it to the actual shop to sample more flavours. I love that there are bountiful vegan options, of which I tried two - the Homer (a classic jam with chocolate icing) and the strawberry cheesecake, which is a novelty made vegan. I also got the Golden Gaytime (apparently one of the most popular flavours and I can see why), and the Queen B, which was my personal favourite. This is part of the dossant range, meaning extra flaky dough with custard and a delicious fondant and honeycomb topping.
But doughnuts are not all Goldeluck's has on offer. They also sell bagels, which are soft and pillowy and come in a variety of flavours and fillings. I enjoyed mine simple with cream cheese, plus a soy flat white on the side. If you're dining at Eastland, please be aware seating is limited but you can also take your doughnuts to the nice courtyard out the front.
Home to Artisan Doughnuts in Melbourne since 2018!
They specialized in making amazing doughnuts and there is an amazing range of flavours. There were so many to choose from and we took awhile to decide. Loved their modern and chic concept in Eastland and there was a nice cosy seating area where you can enjoy a beverage and doughnut.
We decided on trying a pack of doughnuts and really enjoyed it. I like how the batter was light and not too heavy and there is always a surprise in the middle. The textures and flavours were really nice and I really liked it. My favourite was the creme brulee and the golden gaytime.
The doughnuts came in a nice packaging and it makes it easier if you’re planning to gift it to someone. Also, they now have different gift options, doughnut bouquets, dessert boxes or you can even book into bottomless milkshake and doughnut session on their website.

I was fortunate enough to try a box of Goldeluck Doughnuts at Eastland, who are the largest of their three stores with one at Croydon South and other Patterson Lakes.
There are so many choices it was tough to choose so left it up to the staff to pick for me.
My favourite was the lemon meringue doughnut which is filled with lemon curd and topped with roasted meringue. Oh la la! My close second was the strawberry cheesecake doughnut which delectably consists of strawberry icing, vegan cheesecake filling with crushed digestive biscuits. The Oreo Dream and Bullseye certainly had the family wanting to try more.
Sharing around with the family, cutting each into four bite sized pieces so we could test them, we all had our favourites. It’s interesting that each of us liked a different doughnut but consistently the golden gaytime was getting the most ‘oh yeah’.
But they don’t just sell doughnuts - they also have savoury food and plenty of drinks. Dine in at their stylish tables or takeaway with their classy boxes.
Named as one of the best doughnut shops by the Herald Sun, what I find that makes this place special is the back story of how Goldelucks came about. Visit their website and read ‘Our Story’ on how a 21 yo Phillip helped make his parents dream of opening a bakery come true. Inspirational.
Yes the doughnuts are great but the provenance of this place makes it even better.
If you’re looking for that something special for a birthday, anniversary, event or work function then try their dessert boxes, doughnut bouquets or gift boxes.
They also deliver (next day) - brilliant!
If you have any allergies then just let staff know as one of the doughnuts had a peanut butter glaze.
I would highly recommend Goldelucks for their fresh food and wonderful customer service.
Note: wheelchair friendly, disabled access, kid friendly, good parking at Eastland.
Adorable doughnuts with a huuuuge variety! And don’t wanna travel too far, well they’ve got delivery covered for you 🥰
FOOD: We got the 9 variety box and our flavours were (in order from top left to bottom right): STRAWBERRY GLAZE, CARAMELLO CABELLO, COOKIES AND CREAM, CHOCOLATE GLAZE, NUTELLA ROCHER, LEMON MERINGUE, APPLE FRITTER, GOLDEN GAYTIME, MARSH MATTERS
The doughnut’s fillings and toppings were fantastic! They were generous with their fillings but these doughnuts (or at least the ones I chose apart from the apple fritter) should be reserved for SWEET TOOTHS because they were extreeemely sweet 🤭 Maybe I’m getting old with my tastebuds but they were abit too sweet for my tastebuds 🤣 I also think you should eat them RIGHT AWAY or when they’re super fresh because after 2 hours, they got abit stale which you can reheat them in a microwave and its good as GOLD(elucks HAHA) so yeah :)
Thank you so much for the invite and if you ever want to gift a sweet tooth and make their heart sparkle, head on over to Goldelucks or visit their website!
We were invited to Goldelucks to try some of their highly sought after donuts (and even a dossant). There were plenty of flavours to chose from and I ended up preferring the ones that weren’t filled as the custard fillings in what is already a sizeable donut (particularly when you’ve literally tried seven flavours) can be pretty intense! Hubs fave was the Marshall Mathers which features glaze, mini m&m’s and a Nutella filling, I was quite partial to the Queen B which had a honeycomb custard, chocolate ganache and caramelised biscuit crumbs. If you’ve got a sweet tooth you really can’t go wrong!
Goldeluck’s Doughnuts have an impressive variety of donut flavours that it was hard to choose our selection today. They all looked so pretty and impressive that filling a box of four made quite hard choosing. Larger and more intricate that your typical donut selection they have great flavours such as golden gaytime, lemon meringue, red velvet bullseye along with you classics such as custard, jam and Nutella filled. GD’s also do an incredible chicken avocado bagel along with a range of other bagels if sweet ain’t your thing. Well worth a visit in store and I noticed a huge variety of gift boxes displayed online that are perfect for the lead up into Christmas.
A donuteria with a wide range of donuts and dine in foods. Located in Eastland, the place has nice interior and select seats.
I thoroughly enjoyed the oreo donut. A nice thin layer of icing topped with crushed oreo pieces. Even though the filling did have quite an intense cream cheese taste. All the donuts are plump, consistently textured and sweet. Thankyou for the invite.
Great range of flavours here and the pricing is ok.
The dough is very standard, not extremely fluffy or high quality brioche etc but its nice enough and the unique flavours make up for it.
I recommend Patterson lakes or Eastland stores as the donuts seem to be made fresh there. The times I've been to the croydon store the donuts were still good but not quite as fresh.
Apple fritter is amazing. Chewy fried dough with lots of apple pieces and covered in glaze. This the BEST thing I've had from Goldelucks.
Other good donuts I've tried:
Peanut Butter Caramel -Thick PB icing with rich caramel filling
Bullseye - Red velvet dough with lots cream cheese filling
Apple Cinnamon Dossant - amazing! ( but not sure if its available any more.)
If you are working your way through Melbourne's best Donuts definitely add Goldelucks to your list 👍
Wow! These donuts really hit the spot! We got a pack of 9 of their delicious donuts from the cheese cake and creme brûlée to Chocolate to Golden Gay time. Every thing was just incredibly full of flavour and worth the every single calorie!
I do nut care what you say but these donuts were yummy!!!
All four donuts were solid but there was ONE true standout...
My favourite was the Apple fritter 😍
Definitely worth a go 👌
This place is the best. Come here for a coffee break and the server knows my order, what an angel. Coffee is really yum too and they do good toast
Amaaaaazing vegan Doughnuts! Best doughnuts I've ever had in general! We got the jam, red velvet and watermelon cheesecake flavours. All soooo good. Worth the money.
If you’re out of gift ideas, Goldeluck’s Doughnuts can send Doughnut Bouquets and Dessert Boxes straight toyour loved ones door on their special day🍩, My favs? Gotta be all the dossant variations! 🤩

I tried a vegan friendly Donut HSP from Goldeluck’s and it was amazingly yum! So happy there are vegan options here. Can’t wait to try some more vegan friendly donuts 🍩
Had the Snickers Snack Pack ($11) and it was soooo good! Perfect bite sized pieces of delicious donut, smothered in chocolate sauce and peanuts. I’m a little ashamed to say I devoured the whole box!! 😅
