Where do I start... This place is simply as good as it gets. I don't write alot of reviews, but Being half Italian, i knew i found something special here at Roma Capoccia. The pasta and pizza are both beautiful, true authentic high quality Italian food.
The traditional Italian deserts are divine and are a must to try.

It feels like you are walking into your family's place to eat. We received such a warm welcome followed by amazing food that nonna can't compete with. The seafood linguine, ghnocci, pizza and Connolly are so unbelievably fresh and delicious making us want more.
This is quickly becoming our beloved local.
We are now regulars ! and going to the "all you can eat" pizza night tonight. the best local restaurant by a country mile. The owner is a gem (even though he's a Roma supporter ;) ) the service friendly and the authentic Italian cuisine (incl. the deserts) is a refreshing change to "Stralian Italian". Do yourselves a favour and book a feed !

The best local Italian restaurant. The owner is from Italy, he makes great food & always greets you with a smile. The Gnocchi Gorgonzola is the highlight. Pizza Margherita also very good.
Just recently discovered this local spot. Fresh pasta and pizza with a warm atmosphere. Pasta was great, perfectly al dente, great flavours. Staff was friendly, service a tad slow and the room is really loud, hard to have conversations. But would be happy to return if I’m feeling like italian :)

Have been here twice, the first time I had the lasagne which was really good, the second time I had the gnocchi gorgonzola which was amazing! The service is impeccable and we were even offered free desserts because we stayed late. Really authentic good quality Italian food

Authentic Italian restaurant, food is always fresh, full of flavour and good portions! All their food is out of this world delicious, I recommend their pizza and their gnocchi is so light, fluffy and just melts at first bite - absolutely divine!
The owner Frederico is always delightful and friendly whenever we dine here.

Roma is a hidden gem! Food and service is amazing! What's more heart warming than seeing the owner interacting with his customers? The pasta serving is very generous. My favourite is their linguine al salmone!

It's a family friendly atmosphere, the owner treats each and every customer like a member of his extended Italian family, you feel welcome from the outset! The food is incredible from entrees to mains and desserts to die for,
The perfect meal is the anti pesto entree with delicate sliced meats, bruschetta and vegetables
This is followed up by in house hand made pastas, the filled pastas are excellent, the fettuccine Romano is a highlight!
Pizza is amazing, they have 50cm and 1m options worth sharing with friends,
Desserts are various, fresh and flavorsome,

I went to roma capoccia for dinner and I can only tell you do not go to eat at this place , the ' pizza dough is too good and a lightness, pasta aldente and tasty, no I do not think sydney is ready for this paradise of taste thanks guys great job
If you want true, authentic Italian pizza, pasta and desserts, well Federico at Roma Capoccia will definitely fullfil your cravings, not to mention his yummy Italian antipasto platters!- You really can't go wrong. Do yourself a favour. I went and keep on going back with more friends each time, who absolutely love it. It's great Italian food. Treat yourself to breakfast on Fridays through to Sundays and naturally quick lunch snacks and great dinner dishes! Federico is very friendly and will always make you feel welcome and a part of his Roma Capoccia family!
Authentic Italian in the suburbs! The food was beautiful (so much better than other Italian offerings in the area), and the service was great. Friendly, welcoming and relaxed. Can't wait to go back
I visited on a Friday afternoon, when the restaurant was pretty quiet.
We ordered a "tondo" sized pizza, called "Colosseum" to share between 2 (we're both girls). The pizza was pretty decent, but I will probably try a different pizza next time.
The mocha was lovely; on the more chocolatey side, just the way I like it.
We also tried the chocolate profiteroles with custard filling. I thought it was pretty average, but then I'm not a huge fan of profiteroles.
Roma Capoccia isn't the most budget-friendly. $35 for a smallish pizza, a coffee, and 3 profiteroles. But I guess cost is subjective.
The owner is very friendly, and kindly explained what each of the pastries were.
I'll be back to try the home made pastas.
What a treat to my tastebuds! I am so glad I found this local gem serving authentic Italian.
We had a pizza, prawn and zucchini ravioli with the Mediterranean salad today. All the foods were delicious. I love how everything is homemade and it does not leave you feeling disgusting like most Australia-fied Italian venues. I found the serving to be just right.
Service was also super friendly. They are now also serving breakfast and dessert wh ich we have yet to try. I can't wait to come back!
Only issue is the noise level and lack of ambience. If more renovation work is done with a prettier setting this restaurant can achieve a lot!
Who needs Leichhardt when you have this little gem! When I was first told about this place by a friend I didn't think such an authentic Italian place could exist in somewhere like Riverwood. Not only is the food amazing but so are the staff, I cannot wait for next time!

This is such a wonderful truly authentic family run Italian restaurant - in Riverwood. Yes, that's right not Leichhardt or Haberfield but Riverwood. If you want truly authentic Roman Italian cuisine this is the place. Homemade sauces, pastas, breads and pizza dough using REAL ingredients. Their pizza doesn't leave you feeling like you've consumed a ball of raw dough that keeps expanding in your stomach. I have to admit the ricotta/spinach cannelloni is perfection. Whenever i go there if i don't have it as my main i get one to take away. The desserts, now where to begin. I've never had profiteroles that were so light and airy but filled to the brim with tasty creme patisserie and real dark chocolate ganache. I don't like profiteroles normally - these are exceptional. Then there's all the traditional italian doughnuts and biscotti and cakes. All with that home made touch.
They could use a bigger space and one that absorbed noise as it tends to get a little noisy. That's the only issue - bigger space and less noise. It would be great if they had a courtyard space with umbrellas and music and ambience. The future? Perhaps.
This is our favourite italian restaurant in all of Sydney. Hands down good.

Having lived in Rome for 1 year, this restaurant is authentic Italian. I went with a long-time friend and he had the squid ink ravioli and was impressed. I had the tagliatelle bolognese--brilliant. The pastas are all hand made on site, cooked to al dente perfection and rounded with a sauce that was delicious with that oh-so-rare home cooked, non-over-the-top-commercial flavour.
We also had the gladiatori mixed plate which included suppli, an egg-shaped mozza and tomato filled cousin of arancini, which I only ever found in Rome while living in Italy. It brought back great memories.
We didn't try the pizza, but they looked great. The names and toppings of the pizzas are authentic to the pizzerias found in Rome.
Dessert was a ricotta cake which had the balance of subtlety and richness I expected. My friend had the chocolate torta made with almond meal (gluten free), also a definite winner.
I would have given it a full 5, save for the very modest decor and ironically, the coffee I had was not as good as other cafe's or similar to the cappuccinos I had back in Italy.
Federico and his staff, however, have created a great "our little secret" restaurant for Riverwood. We'll definitely be coming back.
Great Italian local. Everything is handmade including the beautiful pastries perched at the front of the store, perfect for takeaway or with coffee in the store. Lovely pasta and pizza menu, almost everything was good. They also do 50cm or 1m pizzas which had a lovely crust and a slightly doughy chewy base! Gnocchi Gorgonzola was a hit, aragula abs prosciutto pizza and the ricotta and spinach arancini were all v good. Def will be back for a meal. Oh and it's byo.
Yum yum the baked goods are devine. I must say I was happy to see such an authentic italian cafe style pizzeria come to my end of town. The coffee is great, service with a smile.
There is nothing better than getting stuck into some savoury and sweet pastries -all made on the premises. There is nothing generic about this new business.

Authentic Italian Deliciousness. Love this place. Homemade flavour, wonderful service. Family friendly restaurant that is bringing an authentic taste of Italy to Riverwood. Metre long pizza sounds gimmicky but is fabulous with a group. Great pasta. A hearty thumbs up.
Nice to finally have some REAL Italian food in Riverwood. The pizza is proper, authentic Italian pizza, not the usual rubbish Riverwood is accustomed too. Great friendly service too.
A great dining experience. The waiters were extremely friendly and attentive. They were bubbly too and put a smile on all of our faces. The pizza was superb quality. The pastas left a bit to be desired. Mine had a bit too much ingredients in it whilst the same dish ordered by someone else didn't have enough sauce. Byo which was excellent too

We had an amazing experience on Sunday night here. The owner is very friendly, polite and a great host. Food was delicious, good portion size and reminded us of our experience in Italy. Great location and Federico is the happiest guy around, you must try the antipasto platter for 2, if there’s a better one, I want to know where? The pizzas are fabulous and you can buy them by the metre!!!! They make their own Italian desserts, how good is that?
