Update: They have a new layout and is now more spacious than before. However closing times have changed and they are now opened til 4:30pm.. This is a lovely family-run cafe and the staff provides great hospitality every time I visit. The layout of the cafe is a bit cramped on a busy day but there is outdoor seating and the long table is great for large group gatherings. Service time is reasonable, I usually come in a group of 7 or 8 so I do take that into consideration. There is a good variety in their menu of both western and Filipino cuisine and their food is nice and homely. Every dish is packed with flavour, however, sometimes it can be a bit too salty to me but I'm rather sensitive to salt. In terms of consistency in food and coffee (presentation & taste), I found that they weren't very consistent, however, this may be a positive note as they have been improving their dishes. Portion sizes have always been generous for the price. I've been holding off this review as the first couple of months following their opening was a hit and miss. They were still adjusting their menu and opening times were not clear so more than often we'd see it closed rather than open however, recently, it has improved and there appears to be more consistent opening hours than before. Overall, this is a nice place to sit down and enjoy a nice meal or grab a takeaway bowl and a quick drink as they offer a variety of drinks (Coffee is good but I find DOM's Coffee at the station quiet hard to beat). Shaker's is a great addition to the growing strip of restaurants and cafes in Riverwood and offers a great opportunity to try Filipino cuisine. Recommendation: If you're not familiar to Halo- Halo, do try it! It's a nice, refreshing dessert featuring a variety of colourful, sweet jellies topped with shaved ice and Ube ice cream. It's perfect for Summer!

The Staff there are so friendly!! The food and coffee is also something to comment highly on. It's so convenient as it is right across the road from my local gym, so I usually go there for a post workout meal and coffee on the weekends. The acai bowl is so generous and tastes amazing, the perfect way to start a day for me! :)

Love this cafe - have been many times (by myself, with family and friends) and have enjoyed the Filipino cuisine especially the Adobo chicken. But more than that, I love the generous and friendly service. Meals are always slightly different (e.g. different sides and presentation) and I like that - keeps the menu fresh and interesting.

This place is a hidden gem, the food here is definitely better than your average cafe. I would highly recommend the Lamb Pot Pie! What's more, each visit has been met with very competent staff who are warm and friendly. This is definitely going to be a popular local eatery!

Amazing food, chill atmosphere and excellent services! A talented young barista greeted me with a genuine smile, and made a delicious cup of coffee with great coffee art. Highly recommend this place and to ask for coffee art with your coffee :)!

i have been here multiple times since they have been opened, the food is always excellent, and they make them fresh so little extra waiting time. I tried the French Toast, Waffles, Teriyaki Salmon and Tapa all so good, i really recommend any to give them a try.
