We have very specific tastes in pepperoni pizza and this place nailed it. Quick service with a smile and very affordable. try it when in robe!!!!!!!
Yummyyy! The most delicious pizza I've had for a very long time and that's saying alot considering I'm from Melbourne! Had just enough sauce and topping so it wasn't dry, even around the crust and amazing flavours. The perfect ending to our holiday in Robe and just what we felt like after swimming all day. The prices are a little steep, but would definitely return if in the area again.
Perfect, delicious & friendly staff make you feel at home!!! We are not Italian food lovers by any stretch of the imagination, but this places takes the cake! At full capacity I praise the kitchen, whom maintained quality of the dish (something starting to lack in Melb) we ordered seafood marinara, what can I say yummmm fresh and pasta Cooked to perfection! Then the the tandoori pizza nice base with perfect topping! We waited 40 minutes and worth every second!!! We would definitely be back... I ordered 3 rum balls to go and I must say was not the standard of the food, way to rich and sweet ;/ I was going to mark down on rating but the food was so good! Boom
Great resteraunt for Italian food lovers! I had the chicken risotto which was sensational! The pizza my dad had was incredible and the marinara my mum had was the best she's had! Great service! Would go again.
So tasty! Wasn't expecting a lot, but had great vego options. I would definitely recommend this to people travelling to robe.
Not hard to figure out why it's such a busy place
The Pizza project is a welcome oasis of Italian cuisine set on the magnificent limestone coast in SA.
We came here and enjoyed the potato and rosemary Quattro fromaggi pizza as well as the Atlantic salmon spaghetti and left feeling full of Italian goodness.
A yummy pizza! The bread was somewhere in the middle of an American and Italian style pizza: filling and proper enjoyment of the toppings. Good price, friendly and fast service. Even though at the time we came in a group of 40 came in as well, they were quick with the orders. Would recommend!
Visiting Robe, and simply could not fault Pizza Project. Best garlic bread (ridiculously good) we've ever had, having lived in four capital cities around oz, and prawn pizza magnificent. Throw in exceptional very happy service and pizza project does robe proud. We'll be back sometime
Had a really good value delicious meal here. Eight of us and the meals all came out together. The service is so friendly. Enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent food. Friendly service. One of the few places in Robe to have several great vegetarian options. For some reason Robe is behind the times in this regard with choices for vegos hard to find and when they have vego options they are often the lazy after thought of spaghetti Napoli type dishes. Lift your game Robe and well done Pizza Project! At least you're in the modern world.
We had a pumpkin and beetroot pizza and vegie lasagne both of which were delicious and well presented. They also have good wine list and choice of beers.
We visited in January and food waits in Robe can be long especially for dinner. Pizza Project can have waits up to 2 hours for pizza. They have tables inside and under the verandah on the footpath. Inside seemed full of families with kids and outside more subdued. So grab a drink, order your meal and settle in and watch the passers by.

Pizza Project - Projecting Excellence!. We 1st dropped in here after the Kitchen had closed on a Friday night and expected the typical "we have closed - sorry" response. We were completely wrong. Ok, so they didn't open the kitchen (and I would never expect a restaurant to do so) but they helped us with an excellent selection of cakes, garlic bread and lasagne all packed up to take to our holiday house and heat up. Brilliant food and over the top good service. Naturally we were so impressed we came back for dinner on the Sunday night.
The Pizza range includes an excellent range of quite varied pizza's resulting in the family ordering 4 pizza's each as a 1/2 and 1/2 trying to cover as many as possible. I wont detail them all here, suffice it to say they were all excellent not to mention to die for Garlic Bread and a rather nice soup! A good selection of local wines by glass or bottle just rounded the place out! Untried by us but also looking excellent were a number of other dishes. If you or some of your party are not inclined to go the pizza route then there appear to be some excellent options!
From a newspaper article I found it looks like they opened as "Pizza Project" on September 4 2013 with new owners to the old Vic St Pizzeria!
Great pizza and given we live near pizza central in Melbourne, that's saying something. Rosemary potato was very flavoursome. Lovely girls on counter.

What a find the Vic street Pizza. We actually had pasta. Good flavours - generous portions. A busy night , great vibe and reasonably priced limited wines available by glass and bottle. Some "Italian" pantry staples to purchase, also worth a look. Very friendly and effecient service

Awesome service and food. Vic Street Pizza has to be one of Robe's gems. We are spending more and more time in Robe and this place is always on our list of places to dine at. Great value food and good service too. We have tried a number of things on the menu and they have all been great. Have taken a number of friends there and all have enjoyed the food too. As a sideline you can also hire dvds/games there too.
Really good garlic bread, and great pizza flavours. Bacon that you can really taste, served nice and hot. We sat at the front and they brought throw blankets for us, as it was cool summer evening, but they also have a courtyard at the back. We went back for lunch!
I'd recommend a reservation first. We stopped by at lunch to make a reservation for dinner and were lucky, having to take a slightly earlier booking. An interesting menu including Bao buns and pizza, both of which were very good. Service was prompt, although we were seated at 5.45pm. Ordering is done at the bar with no courtyard table service.
The courtyard was lovely and reminded us of our Italian trips with the stonework and chairs on a summers evening. A nice way to spend our final evening in Robe. πππ¦π½οΈ
We had a hawaiian and supreme takeaway pizza. Delicious, fresh, quality ingredients and the lady who served me was lovely. Next time will dine in as the outdoor dining area looked great.
Being in Robe for the evening we thought it was a worthwhile visit to The Project. The Project was quite full which we knew we were onto a winner. The staff were very quick to serve and all had a great memory. Dinner was brought out to us waiting out the front.
Dinner fantastic as tasted really good. If we come back we will certainly visit The Project again
Amazing we decided on our 1st night in Robe to try The Project and what can I say amazing. The best spaghetti I've ever tasted. The pizza was amazing and the fried Chicken out of this world. We sampled a local wine and beer and they didn't disappoint. Service was great as well. Love love loved it
Pretty good food. Service was not super fast but did the trick. Probably not comparable to a really good Italian restaurant but still a nice feed.
Never thought a combination of dumplings and pizza would go so well but at the project - they do! Loved the entree serve of dumplings, handmade, fresh and tasty. The pizza was yummo with cheese melted to toasted, browny deliciousness perfection
