Review Krish Indian Cuisine - Robina

Bernd Rindermann
Krish Indian Robina is Located Within the Easy T Centre on Christine Ave. It Is a Very Nice Looking Restaurant, With Indoor & Outside Seating. Has a Comprehensive Menu Of Indian Cuisine Delights. Friendly & Helpful Service. Generous Servings of Tasty Dishes. As Good as The Food Was & The Entree, Main & Naan Were VERY Good. Can’t Give 5 Stars, Because the Wait Time Was Ridiculously Long !!! & Then My Pet Hate, The Entree, Main & Naan Were ALL Served At The Same Time !! WHY Do Restaurants DO This !!!

My family had recently had a couple of good experiences here, so I was convinced to give it a try. The saffron rice was like mush, and no one ate it. Pic is of left over rice after 6 people. My Goat curry was watery and predominantly bone (not my first time ordering bone in goat curry, so I know what to expect) this was average. We are lucky to have so many good Indian restaurants around us, I won't be trying this one again.

Best Indian I have ever had! Ordered through menu log, but they couldn’t find a driver which I completely understand so they called to ask if we could come pick it up, again I completely understand, it seemed to be a very busy night for these guys! Got home and the entire family ate everything!!!! I can’t stress enough! Best Indian I’ve ever had! Ever. Made with love ❤️

We are lucky enough to live around the corner from Krish at Robina and have been dining there, as well as takeaway, for the past 15 years. Every meal has been so tasty. This is a very friendly family run business, always greeted with a smile and cheerful hello, even when just walking past. Yes, there have been times where the wait time has been less than desirable, but the end result is always the best, and so yummy.

My husband and I dined at Krish restaurant in Robina recently and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service was friendly and professional and more than accommodating. The food was authentic tasty and delicious with an abundance to leave us bursting at the seams. We Highly recommend a dine in experience that will not disappoint. Just sensational!

While the food is yummy, they routinely mix up orders. On two occasions, just 4 days apart, they messed up my takeaway orders. On first occasions, they gave me breads different from what I had ordered. On the second occasion, they ended up giving me a chicken entree, instead of the vegetarian one that I had ordered for. You serve good food guys, put in a little more effort in your takeaway orders and you will excel...

After several visits of as many weeks, we were asked if we could leave a review, so I hesitated because it's not without flaws. After eating at many Indian restaurants interstate and locally, including Indian Garden, Spice Temple, Saffron, Chutney Mary's, Indian Hut and Indian Delight, My wife and I are pleasantly surprised just how consistently good the food is. Tried now about 6 different mains and several entrees, all were exceptional and best in class when compared to anything else on the Gold Coast. Service is an issue and the very young staff could benefit with some hospitality training to overcome the lack any awareness of their guests needs. Taking this into consideration I still had to give a Solid 5 star rating overall broken down with 6 Stars for both food and value only let down by young inexperienced boy waiters. You might mind more professional service but unlikely you find better Indian food.

Loved the Butter Chicken! Great find from the Entertainment Book!

I visited Krish after finding a voucher for it in the Entertainment Book.

I ordered the Butter Chicken - and to be completely honest, it was up there with one of the tastiest Butter Chickens I have ever had!

The meal sizes are big, so I even had some for left overs that I got enjoy the next day!

We really enjoyed it.
We went with a group, most of us ordered the famous butter chicken and it didn't disappoint! Lots of tandoori style chicken in a seriously rich, creamy sauce.
The spinach, garlic and cheese naan bread was good, a bit oily, but still good.
The menu was extensive, this was particularly good as one of our guests was not a fan of Indian food. You could have ordered chips and calamari if you wish.
Our guest chose the moreton bay bugs in some sort of mild sauce. She loved it, it was well priced at $30, ample bug and the sauce was delicious. Great that our guest who was reluctant to eat Indian food loved it.
Service was good, you could also BYO wine.

The definitive Indian restaurant outside Asia. Perfectly adapted to the Aussie palate, and even to the palate of distinction. Service is prompt, personal and charming, prices most reasonable.

The staff are friendly, the food is delicious, the butter chicken is the best, and they were terrific in hosting my party for 40 people, bringing food out at the right time.

Devi brings us out small serves of Fijian curries to try, more aromatic than spicy, but then our main arrives: four huge Tandoori Moreton Bay Bug halves, dripping in luscious makhan sauce. It’s without doubt our dish of the night, succulent seafood meat in one of the most delicious curries we’ve tasted. Wow! They won’t be secret for long!

I've eaten here for past year regularly and food has been ok... last visit the butter chicken was the best I've had... rice is light and fluffy and when you ask for hot you get hot... here’s my current review as it’s probably changed hands... 10/7/2010 naan half burnt half uncooked. I specifically ordered hot butter chicken and it was mild apart from being cold also along with the samosas not being cooked through. The food needed to be microwaved when I got home as it was Luke warm, I live 5 minutes away. best thing was the rice... so disappointed

Last night I dreamt about Krish. I have been going to this place for over five years whenever I'm up on the Gold Coast and was a regular visitor during my 18 month stint as a Queenslander. The highlight of that living situation was easily this butter chicken. Dine in or take away it has never disappointed me and the portions are super generous I've often had some left over curry for breakfast the next morning (consuming that so early in the day may sound disgusting to you but it's actually sensational, go on try it). Super friendly staff that will remember your order if you are a local who has the usual and there's also an all you can eat buffet for lunch on Fridays. I may have been known to schedule my arrival flights around this 😋😋

This place was all right, but nothing to write home about. I went twice, the first time getting the vegetarian delight, and the next time getting vegetable korma. Both dishes were a bit bland. Maybe this because I chose mild rather than spicy when they asked? Vegetable korma isn't usually spicy anyway, so I'd expect it to still be full flavored. But the dishes were just a bit watery and flavorless. The first time I went, the naan I ordered was really nice, but the second time, it was soggy and cold. The woman at the counter, however, was really friendly so that helped. Overall, not a horrible place, but much could be improved.

Definitely one of our favorites!. Krish in Varsity Lakes is our local Indian takeaway choice. There are a couple of other Indian options close by but we always end up coming back!!
Even though to food takes a little longer, it's all made fresh so you know you're getting the best possible quality (so worth the wait)- and you can taste it. I'm yet to have a bad experience at Krish, and I don't expect to :)
The portion sizes are great and the prices are very affordable.
The staff are always so friendly and are always up for a chat while you wait for your meal.
Highly recommend!

Excellent service!. I don't usually do this, but this place deserves it!

Last night, i ordered pick up from here. Upon arriving to collect my food, I realised that i had placed an order at the wrong outlet. (Very silly of me, i know). Not only did they prepare my order again, they threw in a free entree and naan too! The food is amazing too. (I'm picky about indian food, being an indian myself), so i'd definitely say its worth a visit :)

Great hidden Gem. A 20 minute drive from Surfers Paradise shouldn't deter you from this hidden gem. The service was great and the meals were really good value considering the portions were extremely generous. The flavours were excellent, the korma and tikka masala tasted amazing. We will definately be coming back!

Yumo. This place is so amazing, Its tucked away, however we had not heard of it untill a friend said lets go, Well all 6 of us were amazed The food had so much flavor, meals were good size, little noisy but that didnt bother us, service for drinks were a little slow but its BYO too which is a plus. All of our dishes were great No complaints on our tabel :)

PRICY. Food was quite nice but extremely overpriced... Considering its locallity it cost $90+ for two people to have to dishes, rice and naan with two softdrinks?!?! Was unimpressed.

Fantastic restaurant. Have been here many times, fantastic service, lovely decor, food was good and they have a loyalty program. I've taken the kids there and they were welcomed and looked after, and given free ice-cream for dessert. Have been here with friends too who have travelled extensively around India and the world, and they were pleased with the service, food and all-over experience. The experience is one that has been consistently good.
Clearly the restauranteurs are good business people. They give you good service, good quality and treat you well. One of the better Indian restaurants on the Gold Coast. Is worth a 20 minute drive to get to.
